    Green Curry with prawns

Great food, cozy ambiance, and excellent service! This spot serves authentic, hearty dishes right in the heart of Saratoga. My only critique is that the Green Curry was missing two ingredients I typically expect--bamboo shoots and lemongrass. That said, there were sufficient Japanese eggplant and basils and more than made up for it. Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal, and I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful ambience, friendly and accommodating service and very flavorful food! Their menu was a little oddly organized but overall they had a good variety of vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes. You could adjust spice levels on most dishes (they indicated where you couldn't) . They also have a separate menu for vegetarians which is great! Here is the breakdown of what we ordered and how it fared: Saratoga curry puffs - 6/10 Spicy basil noodles - 6/10 Pad thai - 9/10. This cane wrapped in an egg! It was the first time I had pad thai like this. The flavors were also great and it had heat to it from red chillis. Spicy peppercorn with basa - 10/10. This was an explosion of flavors and the vegetables in the stir fry were also delicious Penang curry with tofu - 9/10. The curry was very flavorful and the veggies were balanced. The prices were also quite reasonable and the food portions are shareable. We enjoyed the food and service here and will definitely return to try more items on the menu.

Haven't been back in a while since we last came back, brought bf to see if anything changed. The ambiance is rlly nice and comfortable and the servers were quick to service. We loved the roti and the yellow curry, the udon noodles were sweeter than I thought they were, and the steak was a bit stiff even tho I requested medium rare. It's more like fine dining so kinda pricey, and rice is not included with curry. Will only comeback if in town.

Thai is my absolute favorite. This place is extremely good. I had the spring rolls and vegetable entree. I'm impressed. Didn't even need chili tray! Best part? BYOB. Yup , buy your own wine or beer and you can serve yourself. Def will be back!

A great, cozy little spot with a fantastic ambiance and huge menu of unique and interesting dishes not served at most Thai restaurants. The Roti appetizer was simple but delicious with pan fried puff pastry triangles and a peanut sauce side. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was excellent with a big scoop of tasty fried rice sprinkled througout with bits of red pepper, tender green beans, basil, and white chicken pieces. Crispy pieces of basil were also sprinkled around the top of the plate. Order it medium-hot, and ask for a side of red chile sauce to adjust the heat upward and add more flavor. My vegetarian friend had a great looking salad with fried tofu, a feta-like cheese, sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and I think walnuts.

Very good food! We came wanting Thai food and checked Mint Leaf for the first time. They're very generous with the portions of the food which is nice, and the food itself is flavorful and yummy. We cleared all of the plates! The chairs are super comfortable as well, nice and personable staff here. Only thing is the rice is pretty sticky here which is not for my personable taste. Overall would come back here again, great first time experience.

This is one of the hidden gems in bay area. I have had the most amazing thai food ever in the US. We went as a family of 7 with two kids. The staffs were really kind and the service was good. It is a cute place that can fit large groups, it's kids friendly and they customise the spice level. They have a separate vegetarian menu as well. Here's our order : Saratoga Curry puffs - a unique starter in a thai restaurant and it was good. Roti - somes with a peanut sauce and lip smacking. Coconut milk soup - generous portion, shared by 6. The taste was top notch. Green curry and Thai panang curry - Absolutely delicious with lots of veggies and tofu. Spicy Thai basil fried rice - again, a tasty meal. Mango and sticky rice - the sticky rice was good, mango was not sweet. Overall, this is the best thai food I have had in the bay area. I would highly recommend this place as it's family friendly as well.

    Pad See Ew

Located in downtown Saratoga, this restaurant serves upscale Thai food. Parking is a bit tricky as the restaurant is on the side of the street, but there is a lot fairly close by. The interior looked very traditional and gives off a high end vibe. I got the Pad See Ew with beef cubes ($22), and I really liked it! The meal was sweet with just the right amount of spice, and the portion was good enough for lunch. The beef and broccoli brought good texture to the meal and goes well with the soft noodles. I'll definitely come back sometime in the future to get their Pad Thai!

Love this Thai spot in downtown Saratoga, and I always get the mango red curry which I usually can't find at other Thai places. It is so good and the mango flavor is subtle but yummy. I love that they have a whole separate vegetarian menu with tons of options. The setting is super nice inside and service is good too:)

Mint Leaf is an absolute favorite of mine! Their decor is charming and the ambience is warm--it's a very embracing and rich environment to settle into. The staff are eager to please and work diligently to ensure the food is prepared to expectations. They make the best Pad Thai and their Fresh Spring Rolls are on par. Not all Thai food is created equal, so if you've never experienced this establishment before, you need to give it a try and can thank me later!

Hand down one of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. Their menu is elevated Thai from what you get in most other restaurants. For example their green curry has avocado in it, their red curry has pineapple and mango added - all these combinations work like magic together. I also love that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu with lots of options. Also their portion size is huge - we usually end up sharing a main dish between two people. Things to try: Appetizers- Curry puffs - a must try here. One order comes with 4 puffs and each puff is served in a spoon with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. 10/10 Roti with curry - standard but tasty Mains - Avocado Green Curry - the best green curry I have ever tasted. It comes hot and you can adjust the spice level according to your taste. The added avocados in this curry take this to the next level. Must try in my opinion. Mango Red curry - it has chunks of pineapple and mango that work so well with the red curry. Another great option to try. Note: The curries don't come with rice so you need to order a side of rice. Usually one main curry is enough for two people with their own side of rice. In curries you can add tofu or vegetables in addition to the veggies that the curry comes with. In tofu you have an option of Fried tofu or fresh. I personally like to add fried tofu. Spicy garlic noodles - Garlic-basil-chili sautéed Japanese udon noodle and green beans. Very very tasty! Another must try here. Drunken Noodles - Similar flavor profile as the spicy garlic noodles but with flat rice noodles with veggies. The flat rice noodles are soooooo well made. All in all - amazing food! The ambiance is also great with elegant decor. Love their plush velvet green and purple chairs. The staff is very kind and patient. Dinning here is always a delightful experience! 10/10 I highly recommend this restaurant.

AMAZING! So fluffy and hot-- everything you'd want in a pancake. I don't like ricotta much, especially on pizza, but they make it so smooth like a liquid icing but creamy yellow with yuzu essence. I should've tried the house marmalade on the bread. They keep some in the little jar on the table. Darla French Toast was excellently executed. Picturesque. It tasted more like bread pudding, slightly undercooked in the middle and would've been great with a crisp exterior for texture contrast. Service was fine with polite smiles. They leave you alone for the most part. Little vase of flowers is an adorable touch. There is parking in the back but good luck on weekends. Great place to walk around and explore local shops.

I walked in, relieved to discover it was a poke spot, and decided to have lunch there. I ordered a bowl with white rice as my base and two proteins: tuna and yellowtail. To my surprise, I could add five toppings, so I went with crab meat, mango, cucumber, edamame, and scallions. I don't recall the exact sauces or sprinkles they put on, but the bowl was enormous--which explained the nearly $30 price tag! I grabbed a seat by the window overlooking the parking lot. The chair was a bit snug, but I didn't mind as I dug into my fresh, flavorful poke bowl. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The staff member helping me was new, shadowed by the manager as he assembled my order, but he did a great job! After another grueling 90-minute Bikram Yoga session, I debated between returning here or grabbing Taco Bell, which was much cheaper and in the same shopping center. Despite the price difference, I chose the healthier option. Since the restaurant was packed and I was eager to get home, I decided to order to go. This time, a young woman helped me build a bowl with half purple rice and half white rice. Purple rice is a highly nutritious whole grain, so I was eager to try it. It had a ougher texture to chew than white or brown rice, but I still enjoyed my lunch. For protein, I chose tuna and spicy tuna. I rattled off a long list of toppings before realizing I'd already hit the five-topping limit. I wished I could swap one of the mangoes out, but instead, I paid the extra $1.25 for an additional topping. The young woman was efficient, and I was out of there in no time. Overall, I'm a fan of this restaurant. I can definitely see myself coming back after future Bikram Yoga sessions in the 'torture chamber.'

Luckily, I'm pretty familiar with Asian foods and flavors, so I was able to figure it out on my own. I also added a vegan note in the comments of my order for good measure. Most restaurants with a build-your-bowl model have different pricing for the vegetarian and vegan options because tofu is much less expensive than items like steak or salmon. However, here, it's one price for every bowl. I placed a pickup order; it was ready right away, and the woman at the front was very nice. Here's what I got: Purple Rice, Grilled Vegetables, Grilled Corn, Grilled Tofu, Beets, Chunk Tofu, Edamame, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Jalapeño Ponzu (Spicy), Classic Unagi, Sauce on Top, Onion Flakes, Garlic Flakes. Everything was really flavorful, and I loved the contrasting textures. Although it was a bit on the pricey side, the bowl was super filling, and the portions are very large; they definitely don't skimp on the toppings or tofu. I wasn't able to finish it all. I will say I didn't see unagi sauce, but I could taste the ponzu. I was under the impression that most commercial unagi sauce is vegan, but maybe they use something non-vegan in theirs? I checked with Gemini, it said: when unagi sauce is prepared using traditional methods, fish-based flavor enhancers, or hidden animal byproducts might be used. Either way, if theirs is non-vegan, I appreciate them following my note and not putting it in my bowl. Overall, I think the food was really good and I could see myself ordering again.
