We stopped today after passing by so many times. We discovered that the food is authentic Southern Homemade exquisite food. Husband ordered the Ross' Hot Dog w/ chili, it's a nice Hot sausage, came on a roll with onions, relish, ketchup and mustard and delicious chili, you can chose a side, he ordered the baked Mac N Cheese, it so good! I ordered the Harriet's Southern Buttermilk fried chicken and my side was Mac N Cheese, that chicken was perfectly seasoned, cooked and served! So delicious everything, customer service is super excellent and the food was served very warm. To finish our meal I ordered a super delicious Lemon pound cake, it came with lemon glaze, raspberries and scoop of vanilla ice cream!! So delicious and homemade too! Adorable restaurant on steroids. Too cute for words. Tucked back in a neighborhood and away from the main street gives it a New Orleans feel. But the best part is the fresh southern cooking. Corn bread unlike any i have eaten before. Not too sweet but hint of apple. Moist. Lightly smoked collards Tender and savory. Best fried chicken in Maryland. This neighborhood gem was such a find. We stumbled upon it after visiting the Harriet Tubman Museum nearby. The owner is so sweet, the food was delicious and the place is adorable. We had the fried chicken sandwich, pork chops and cornbread. They are currently only open Thursday thru Saturday from 11am -7pm. Make sure to give this place a try. Love may be the secret ingredient included in Minty's menu. We enjoyed our meal and variety of entrées that features food for the soul. I visited twice and enjoyed the Cambridge Grilled Salmon Salad for lunch and the Harriet's Southern Buttermilk Fried Chicken as a dinner selection. Both were delicious. Great food, kind people. Fun for kids. Had fried chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese and collard greens, all delicious and fresh.

My daughter, girlfriend, and myself stopped here after staying at Hyatt resort, and everything was wonderful! The owner and her husband were doing all the cooking and serving and were extremely welcoming and the nicest people and I cannot emphasize that enough! They, along with the decor make you feel very at home. After having great conversation with both of them, I wish them all the best and hope that business can pick up, especially so everyone can try these grits cuz they are too good ..not to mention you can see how hard she works to make everything homemade! This hidden gem is barely off the beaten track in Cambridge, MD, but you definitely don't want to miss it. The food here is creative and made with great care. The location is historic and has a really cool vibe. We ate two yummy pork dishes, but I really want to try their fried chicken. Next time I will. Attended an event in Cambridge MD, and after hearing the constant comments about Mintys half way through the program all we could think about was the macaroni and cheese. OMG the rumors were 200% spot on! You can taste the love and care in every bite. Please stop in and try the greens (collard, kale and spinach combined), the fried chicken, the lobster Mac and Cheese, waffles and chicken, and a sweet tea. There was no room left for dessert, so next trip we'll leave room. Also met the owner she was so welcoming and took time to share her vision and the history with us. Not very good no parking incompetent staff Do your prep work before you open not when I am at the counter 3 ft from your grill yess let's fry 30 opinions right now 2 pm. Food is average about C- also 2 cooks a dishwasher a busser 2 supervisors 1 waitress and a shirt manager and a gm ridiculous. No wonder a burger and fries cost 17.50. A glass of wine cost 9.00 and a side of Mac and cheese cost 5.75. Basically SUCKS. read more

Hidden gem in Cambridge! We had the homemade Southern Smothered Chicken and Rice with Mushroom Gravy and a Fried Oyster Basket. Both were excellent!!! We finished with fresh ice cream from the Chesapeake Creamery! Blueberry Crumble and Chocolate Peanut Butter! Need I say more?! The owner is lovely! Friendly staff! Great service!
