So the line wasnt too bad. There was at least 8 people outside. They make you wait outside while 1 or 2 people look at the pastries to order. It gives the customer time to look at the options since they dont have the kind of pastries they have listed on the menu. It took me 12 minutes from lining up to getting my drinks and leaving. Sesame einspinner was amazing. It reminds me of the sesame soup but with cream on top. Matcha cloud was also good. Didnt taste like dirt. Would come back for sesame though. My favorite pastry would be the kouign awann. It was sweet and flakey. The top part looked like cheese but it kinda had a creme bruele taste. I got the garlic butter because i thought the pieces inbetween were butter but it was cream cheese. I wasnt a fan because i dont like cream cheese but im sure others would love it. I wanted the blue berry bagel but it was prestuffed with cream cheese. So as a cream cheese avoider there was less options to choose from. It felt like alot of their pastries come with cream cheese or cheese. So if you like more savory pastries or love cheese and cream cheese, this is the place for you. Pastries are also pretty pricey. I spend 40 something for 3 pastries and 2 drinks.
One of my all time favorite bakeries. I've been here several times for their excellent matcha and unique bagels and other pastries. When they first opened, I lined up for around 45 minutes to order. They handed out umbrellas and the owner was always present to greet people and talk about the bakery. Just one indicator of the great service! They are incredibly attentive and welcoming at this bakery and the workers are great at giving recommendations and advice. In terms of the food, you really can't go wrong with any of the bagels. Every one I've tried has been excellent! The green onion has cream cheese with a green onion rim on a sesame bagel. The mango bagel is also tasty and not too sweet, the mango cream cheese is very fresh and light. The pecan bagel is one of my favorite sweet ones, super tasty with the nuts and sweet cream cheese. Their drinks are also an absolute highlight! The matcha is so high quality and they hand whisk it right in front of you. The tea flavor is super strong, not milky at all. They also have an amazing hojicha. Highly recommend this place! The wait is worth it and not too bad on weekdays or mornings. Great place to explore the rest of Pasadena as well.
Honestly one of the best bagels I've had. It was so soft and rich in flavor. My friend had the Mexican street corn one and he enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff is super nice and patient with you when you're unsure of what to get. The line gets super long but it moves pretty quickly. They're also constantly baking and restocking so you'd definitely be able to try everything. They're also usually stocked with so much stuff so you'd never miss out! I've also had their maple croissant and butter croissant on a separate occasion which was very delicious. Definitely worth it!
I'm usually skeptical of places that blow up all over social media, but Miopane deserves the attention. - Black sesame bagel: layered with black sesame paste and cream cheese inside. Slightly sweet, nutty, with a nice tang from the cream cheese. The bagel itself was soft and chewy, but not in that classic NYC-style way - it had its own softer texture that I really enjoyed. I do wish it had more black sesame filling. - Almond croissant: their version has a ton of chopped almonds on top, which gives it a great crunchy texture, though there's less almond paste in the middle compared to other ones (e.g., CAR) Despite being busy, service was efficient and the staff gave great recommendations. Parking in downtown Pasadena can be challenging, but going early helped.
Finally got to check this place out! Go here when you're not in a rush because you will definitely be waiting in line. On weekends expect at least a 30 min wait. It's a pretty small place but they did an amazing job at keeping up with the crowds and having all their best sellers throughout the day. Spoke with the team leader as well, Austin, you can tell he's very passionate about what he does and actually cares about the community thinks about his business and staff. The matcha here is amazing too, good quality and not just relying on the strawberry to carry it. If you've been interested in this spot i'd recommend checking it out.
This bakery pops! Located in old town Pasadena, it has some of the best bagels! We really enjoyed their garlic butter cream cheese bagel. That was so good warmed up. Their other options were also great, but that one stood out the most. The coffee was also a good option. The line wasn't too bad, just bring an umbrella because you're right under the sun.
My husband and I had been wanting to try Miopane for a while and we finally made it out on a Tuesday afternoon! For our first visit we got the blueberry croissant, matcha crumble, chocolate croissant, and the roasted tomato with herbs and cheddar bagel - and everything was pretty good for the most part since you can taste the quality and I loved all the flavors. My personal favorites were the blueberry croissant and the chocolate croissant. The blueberry croissant was delicious and not too sweet, which I appreciated, and the chocolate croissant had an amazing filling that literally left me wanting another one immediately. The girl who helped us was super sweet, especially knowing it was our first time there since that kind of service always makes a difference. The one thing I'll note is that it's on the pricier side since 4 pastries ran us about $31. But if you're okay with the splurge, the quality is there. We'll definitely be back!
The hype was warranted. We definitely ordered with our stomachs cause we came here on a whim after Pilates. But, everything we got was tasty. My favorite was the garlic one because you could taste the real spiciness of the garlic - 11/10. If you don't like garlic or are a vampire, I would not recommend because it's potent. The everything and egg croissant was my next top choice - 11/10 rating for it too. We also tried the strawberry shortcake and Mexican elote which were both good - 9/10 for me. For drinks, I got the matcha latte which you can actually taste the quality of the matcha in it. One family sitting near us told us the scallion bagel is the best one which we didn't order but it's definitely going to be one I try next time I'm back. The spot itself doesn't have much seating inside so you need to be lucky to catch someone leaving to get a seat inside. But even when we got a seat, since it's so small, I was extremely overstimulated with the amount of people waiting everywhere and how loud it was inside. All free space inside was being occupied by people waiting for drinks. When waiting in line outside before getting inside, one of their staff did bring umbrellas out for everyone to help with the sun which was nice. The line moved fairly quick when we were in it and I'd wait the same amount of time again to get these pastries. Parking is street and there's paid garages nearby too.
Stopped by during a weekday and wow... walked out feeling like my wallet took a hit. Only picked up two items and it definitely adds up quick here to treat ourselves to something special! Tried the tiramisu croissant, and it was deliciously dense! You can literally see all the crossiant layers with a giant chocolate and cream in the middle. It's as if almost like you're being charged per quality layer. It was super rich and decadent, to the point where I had to save it for another meal! Also got the matcha crumble bagel. The bagel itself had a nice chewy texture, pretty solid, and the matcha filling also leaned a bit thick and chalky, and on a sweet side. They've got a ton of interesting and exotic bagel options, which is fun to see, and I ended up sticking with something more familiar anyway. I'll probably come back if I'm in the area to show a friend for something different, and I'm glad I tried it!
Came here on a Saturday with my little sister after a long hike. We were exhausted and hungry, so we decided to stop here. The line was out the door, and we waited about 15 minutes to get inside to order. The wait went by faster than I expected. The owner, or one of the staff members, was at the doorway greeting people and making conversation. He was very kind and eager to talk about the food and the establishment. He informed me that these are Taiwan-style bagels. I ordered the sour cream and onion bagel and a chocolate croissant, and my sister ordered the garlic bagel and the strawberry and cream bagel. The sour cream and onion bagel was actually super good! The bagel was good quality and very soft, and the bagel had a nice balance of sour cream and onion flavor. The croissant on the other hand was a bit dry and had waaaay too little chocolate. I actually didn't even eat it and gave it away. My sister didn't like her garlic bagel and said it was too garlicky and salty. She really loves the strawberry bagel and said she would come back just for that. For the 4 items, it was about $32. It comes out to about $8 for each item. That's honestly not that and if you're just coming in for a quick breakfast. The bagels are pretty huge and packed with cream cheese, so $8 for one of them doesn't seem that bad. I wouldn't pay $8 for the croissant though. While the man in front talking to people was nice, the rest of the staff inside serving the bagels and ringing customers up were not. They were very impatient, kind of rude, and seemed overwhelmed by the line. When I was checking out, I saw one staff member eye the line out the door, and then he rolled his eyes and looked like he wanted to sigh. There's also very little seating. Especially with their lines, you have to fight for a seat if you wanna dine in, which is not a pleasant experience. Their bathroom is nice, clean, and spacious. All in all, I wouldn't come back to eat. I can make my own bagels at home. While these were a good deal after a long hike, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat these bagels again. Especially the sour cream and onion. It was tasty, but it was just an onion bagel with chive cream cheese--something easy I can make at home. Perhaps I'd come back just to get my sister one of the strawberry bagels.
Tried out this trendy, new Taiwanese bagel shop for the first time last weekend. Showed up at 8:40am and the line was already out the door and around the corner. Smh. . Parking in the area was also tricky, which was a shock for me especially it being before 9am on a Sunday. Luckily, the line moved quickly and I was able to be helped within 6 min or so. I chose 3 different stuffed bagels which were the blueberry and cream (my fave), sesame with gouda (very salty), and the almond croissant. Forgot to order a matcha but will try the next time. Cost about $22 total. Service was fast and friendly.
Every Friday, my partner and I visit a coffeeshop as part of our routine to start the weekend. I ordered the sour cream cheese with chives/onion bagel. Wow! It was delicious. I didn't know much about the place but it sure did hit the spot. I can't wait to try the other bagels here. read more
The line was insaneeee but the staff offered umbrellas while we waited which was really sweet. It was my first time here and I was a little overwhelmed by the options. My friends and I got a little bit of everything to try, but my favorite bites were probably the green onion croissant and the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. I'm a hugeeee onion fan so I appreciated the amount of green onions they piled on. Definitely needed a piece of gum after though :P The place is a bit tight and seating is quite limited considering how busy they get, but there's a park right across the street where you can go to enjoy your baked goodies :) read more
So insanely good I'm legit gonna be going after hot yoga all the time now and consuming double the amount I burned, but it's so worth here. The maple glaze green onion croissant was perfectly savory and lightly sweet and so flaky. The garlic bagel was sooo good and better than Calic bagel in ktown (aka significantly less sweet). Also both the hojicha and matcha pillows were lovely. Desperately need to go back for the egg croissant!! read more

You must try this wonderful place! Great Matcha great patisserie great croissants just overall great place to be. Just gotta make sure you go there early. The line gets awfully long, but the service is wonderful. The staff is great very welcoming and they got it down. Just wish they had a bigger place to stay. It would've been nice to sit down and eat, but it was just so packed such a popular place to be and I see why. read more
I waited for the initial hype to die down before finally trying Miopane, a Taiwan-style filled-bagel shop. There's metered street parking, but it's cheap and easy to pay through Passport Parking. I waited about 30 minutes to order. The line was medium-length and mostly in the sun, but it looped around so we got some shade. You wait until they call you up, then walk down the line past all their many pastries. Once inside, the huge display of bagels, croissants, buns, and cookies felt like pastry heaven. The space is bright, warm, and cozy. I went a little overboard with the bagels, but the staff was super friendly and patient. After grabbing everything, you pay at the register on the right. There's a restroom next to the shared bench seating, drinks are picked up on the left near the entrance, and napkins/utensils are by the register. The bagels have a nice chew but are lighter and fluffier than a typical American bagel. I liked that each one had a generous amount of filling, so the flavors actually stood out. The sweet ones (black sesame cream cheese, mango cream cheese, matcha crumble, strawberry shortcake, strawberry cold foam matcha) were good, but didn't wow me as they reminded me of Asian bakery breads- definitely good but not exactly new. The savory ones (whipped tomato!, roasted tomato with herbs and cheddar, everything with smoked gouda) were more satisfying flavor-wise. I recommend trying the huge cinnamon roll, which was moist and pillowy. The tiramisu croissant was unique, with a nice hit of espresso in the center. The hojicha pillow was a 10/10 for me. They definitely hook you up with the hojicha foam, and my cup was filled to the brim. The hojicha itself was concentrated and smooth though still fairly sweet even at 50% sugar. Overall, the food didn't totally blow me away. But if you want to bless your eyes with pastries, carb load, and grab a solid caffeinated drink then Miopane is definitely worth trying at least once. read more
Miopane's Taiwanese-style bagels are the hottest new thing in Pasadena. In addition to bagels, they have coffee and pastries. The bagels are soft and chewy with the cream cheese inside. The cream cheese is a bit thick and not really tangy like a traditional cream cheese, and ends up being a creamy filling. We enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake, Cranberry, Double Cheese, Everything with Gouda, Sundried Tomato, and Milk Crumble. We were impressed that we liked both sweet and savory bagel options. I also bought a Sticky Bun for a friend, which was massive in size and she complimented it. The bagels don't seem to lend themselves to storing (e.g. freezing and reheating) the way you might with traditional bagels, so I don't recommend over-buying. There were some misses. The Garlic Bagel (Caelic Bagel style) had chopped raw garlic mixed into the cream cheese and the sharp bite was overwhelming and pungent. The Maple Green Onion Croissant looked like it could be amazing but that was salty to the point of inedible. Both of those were thrown away. Because we liked so many of Miopane's offerings and they outweighed the two bad ones, I'm still a big fan. They really need to rework the recipes for the Garlic Bagel & Maple Green Onion Croissant because it is a shame that those were thrown away and wasted, especially at their high price point. Ambiance: busy even on a Tuesday, not much space to wait for your drinks, line moved at an average speed Service: they gave umbrellas outside which was a nice touch since it was so hot Food: the bagels are really good, better than a fresh Einstein bagel. The flavors are unique, the cream cheese paired with the bagel isn't overpowering. For the pastries, great lamination on the croissants. I really wanted to like the maple glazed green onion croissant, but I didnt really get much of the maple tones. The tiramisu croissant Danish was well done, not overly sweet and with a lot of textural contrast. The matcha einspanner was good, matcha was of high quality but I do wish the drink tasted more cohesive with the cream. Overall, the bagels are great, there are even better options for pastries in pasadena at the same price point. read more
Lines were very long but I came expecting that. Not sure if the bagels and pastries were worth the cost and wait. Bathroom is so nice and clean lol. Came on a Saturday at 8am (when they open) and had a ~45 min-1hr wait. Not counting this against them in my rating cuz it's not their fault that they're so popular. Everything looked amazing and they were well organized! It was pricier than I expected though: I ordered 4 bagels and a cinnamon roll for a total of over $40 (so like ~$8 per pastry). Service was surprisingly very good despite the busy-ness! The cinnamon roll was fat, rich, and sweet. Perfect guilty pleasure type food. It was delicious. Now, onto the bagels (which were kinda dry in comparison): Mango bagel: had bits of mango in it and cream cheese. It was ok but gives 85 degree vibes. Tomato and herbs: great! Kinda like pizza without the cheese and sauce. Very flavorful. Garlic cream cheese?: couldn't hear what the guy said it was but I picked out that it was like the garlic cream cheese one. This one just looked like it had red chili powder on top or something. Tasted like a basic whipped garlic cream cheese basic. Milk crumble: very yummy! Had like a sweet milk paste inside. Low-ish rating because of the dryness of the bagels and I think the flavors are creative but some of them could be refined. read more
Definitely worth the hype. Get there early to (try and) beat the line. Similar to 85° bakery, they will bring bagels and pastries out as they are made so they may not always have the item you're hoping for. If you get lucky enough, get the garlic pull apart bagel! Absolutely heavenly if you're a garlic lover. My boyfriend and I also tried the sour cream and onion as well as the black sesame bagels. The sour cream an onion was well portioned without spilling while the black sesame did what Miopane is known for- the "filling" bagels. I've gotta say, each bite was perfect! We were too excited about the bagels to snap pics but we'll get em next time! read more
I understand the hype of the place. And hype maybe the wrong word, because they live up to the excitement. The line is deceivingly long. They are great in controlling the amount of people inside the shop, as some customers do choose to stay and eat. Once you're inside you order immediately and you get to walk the line of FRESHLY BAKED pastries of both sweet and savory. Order your drinks at the end. I did see a register just for DRINKS ONLY, but you can't resist the freshly baked items. Though I ordered several items, the matcha crumble, maple glazed green onion did it for me! I would go back for those but honestly I would love to try all of it. How can something be crunchy and soft at the same time. Matcha taste was evident and not overpowering. As for the drink, I always get a cortado as a taste of their espresso and it did not disappoint. Perfectly steamed. Matcha strawberry and hojicha inspected to round it off! A definite must try. Either come mid morning, to avoid the morning rush. read more
Definitely worth a try! I ordered the black sesame bagel, whipped garlic bagel, strawberry shortcake bagel, and a blueberry cream cheese bagel. The whipped garlic was easily my favorite, so good and super flavorful. The strawberry shortcake bagel was also a pleasant surprise with it not being too sweet and small strawberry chunks inside. The workers were all very sweet, and the line moved pretty quickly. Overall, a good spot if you're in the area and craving bagels! read more

Noticed this bakery when I saw a line outside, so made a mental note to check it out at another time. That time came on a Friday early afternoon when there was no line. I got an iced spanish latte, strawberry shortcake, matcha bubble drink and an elote bagel. Overall, the spanish latte was great- no notes as well as the shortcake bagel. It was soft and fluffy on the inside with a bit of a crunch on the outside. The flavors were good- not too much but enough. I wasnt a fan of the elote (street corn) bagel but I think it's because I am more of a sweet/ plain bagel vs savory. I talked about it so much that weekend that my sisters went on Sunday (early to be first in line) to try it out and they were also happy about it. The staff was nice and there is sitting area inside but it is small and it seems to always be busy. read more
Came around opening time at 8am on a weekday and only waited about 5 mins to order! This new spot from Taiwan specializes in bagels while also serving other pastry items, each at about $7. They only allow a few customers at a time so the line can look long, but it moves relatively quickly. There is limited seating inside and they package everything to go. I tried their black sesame bagel and their tomato and herb bagel and the flavors were on point! Black sesame bagel - 8/10: I love anything black sesame so this really drew me in. At first bite the flavor of the black sesame was nicely balanced with the cream cheese. The inside was fluffy which I loved but I didn't enjoy the crust which was a bit too tough and hard to break into. Tomato herb and cheddar bagel - 9/10: this was served warm and it was so delicious with the herb dough and tomato filling, and a nice crackly crust. I would definitely recommend trying this one if you're looking for a delicious savory bagel. Overall I enjoyed the bagels and had a good experience though their sweet bagels are just okay to me. $7 is definitely pricey for a bagel but their flavors are really unique which was cool to experience. I've also tried their green onion croissant in a previous visit and that was amazing so I think I enjoy their savory goods most! read more
They are fun bagels! Not too hard not too soft. The cream cheese garlic and sour cream onion (has cloves of garlic inside) taste kind of similar. The everything bagel tastes ok. My favorite is the kouign amann (if u like the sugar top of creme brulee this is similar). Matcha crumble is good but its a bit too sweet. Come around 3 pm and the line wont be bad. Taiwanese bakery (but really a bagel place) in Old Town Pasadena. Went for a snack in the afternoon. Heard of all the long lines for this place - think since it was the afternoon, some of the line died down ... was about a 10 minute wait perhaps. Was greeted and we placed our order: - Black sesame bagel - Blueberry danish - Almond croissant Cost about $22 after taxes. The place was packed so we ate in the car. The bagel was pretty good - definitely lots of black sesame vibes and enough cream cheese. I like my bagels a bit toasted typically so not sure how this would work like that, but overall the bagel was good. The blueberry danish was decent - there's some cheese mixed in - but had to get through a bit of pastry to get to the filling. The almond croissant was a bit dry and lacked enough almond flavor. Overall - the place is definitely best at making bagels, wouldn't come back for the other pastries. The price was a bit steep as well - particularly for the pastries. However, if I'm around old town and there is no line, perhaps would give one of their savory bagels a shot. read more

This Taiwanese import has gotten a lot of buzz lately. I passed by it on the way to dinner nearby and the line was about 2 storefronts long. After dinner the line was just 2 parties; it was close to or beyond their 5 pm closing time, yet still crowded. There's minimal seating inside. At this late hour, they mostly had bagels to offer. There's a sign at the door that asks you to wait there until called so a staffer can walk with you through the line, answer your questions and pick out your choices, but it looks like a lot of folks ignore the sign. When I visited the clientele was 99% Asian. Here's what I chose, listed in order of preference: 1) Sour cream onion cream cheese bagel. Delish, fully filled with cream cheese and lots of scallions, plus cloves of roasted garlic. 2) Kouign Amann. A nice version of the classic pastry, suitably flaky with a burnt sugar crust. 3) Chocolate chip cookie. Large and tasty, with appropriately crispy edges and a chewy centre. 4) Blueberry cream cheese bagel. The only disappointment. There were a few blueberries, but precious little cream cheese within. It seems like what little cream cheese there is is kind of piped in before baking; it's certainly not sliced and spread on afterwards. Overall a decent place to add to the several "hot" trending bakeries in Pasadena. I'd like to try their morning pastries some day, but would not wait over 30 minutes. read more
I feel like I got pretty lucky coming here because I only had to wait about 10 minutes to order. That alone already felt like a win. The only mistake I made was coming after lunch, because I definitely did not expect them to have so many good things on display. If I had come at the end of the day when I was already heading home, I probably would've ordered half the bakery. But since I was just stopping by to try a couple of bagels, I had to stick to the plan. I went with the bagel with cream cheese and garlic butter and the garlic and green onion bagel. That cream cheese and garlic butter bagel punches you right in the face with flavor on the very first bite--in the best way possible. It's insanely garlicky, almost to the point where it feels spicy. Super bold, super tasty, and the bagel itself tasted freshly baked with a great texture. The garlic and green onion bagel was the perfect one to end with because the flavors felt a bit more balanced. Still very flavorful, but a little more mellow compared to that garlic butter punch. We couldn't even wait to find a seat inside, we ended up eating them at the park across the street because they were just too good to hold onto. Next time I'll definitely be more prepared and order more things to try. Based on these bagels alone, this place is easily one of the best bakeries out there. read more
Miopane is a small quaint bakery from Taiwan that has recently gone viral in Pasadena. Primarily specializing in bagels, they are made in small fresh batches throughout the day until they are sold out. Each bagel or baked item is around $7 each. The line looks long because they only allow a few customers inside to order at a time. It can move quickly especially since there is a limit of 4-5 items per person. Inside seating is limited and probably best to take it to go. I was fortunate to queue up on a weekday with a wait time of about 20 minutes. Highly recommend bringing an umbrella since the line is on the sunny side of the building. I ordered a tomato and herb cheddar bagel, sticky bun, everything bagel, and hojita Einspanner to wash it down. The tomato and herb cheddar bagel was fantastic; warm, fluffy and tasty. It was soft at first bite and melted in my mouth. The hojita Einspanner was so darn delicious. It was nutty, creamy, sweet and gave my tastebuds a lot of happiness. The sticky bun tasted stale; hard, chewy in all the wrong ways, and too sweet. I waited until the next day to eat the everything bagel and it was okay. It was still softer than most bagels but it wasn't anything special. Definitely would not pay $7 for it again. Overall, I think the hype is mainly because the bagels come out freshly made. Of course a bagel is going to taste amazing when it's fresh out of the oven. However the next day it's just an ordinary bagel. I probably wouldn't wait in line again for the bagels. They are yummy but just not worth the hype especially in waiting in the sun. There are bakeries close by with soft freshly made bagels without the line. read more

This isn't just a place selling pastries; you can tell there's genuine craftsmanship and pride behind every item coming out of the kitchen. It's a nice little cozy bakery inside a the wood tons make it so inviting. I stopped by on a Friday around noon and was pleasantly surprised that there was barely a line. The staff here are incredibly welcoming and take the time to chat with you about the menu. You can tell they're proud of what they make! They even shared some of their personal favorite items and explained the flavor profiles, which made the experience feel much more personal. Quick parking tip: street parking can be a little tricky in this area. I ended up parking near Pasadena City Hall and walking about five minutes to the bakery, which was actually a nice little stroll. Sour Cream & Onion Bagel (4.5/5) If you're craving something savory, this one delivers. The bagel was toasted to a perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft inside, and every bite had a generous spread of cream cheese. What really elevated it for me were the actual cloves of garlic baked into the bagel. It added a deeper, more robust savory flavor that made it stand out from your typical sour cream & onion situation. Roasted Tomato Whipped Cream Cheese (5/5) This was one of their newer items and easily one of my favorites of the day. The presentation alone was amazing, with whipped cream cheese layered into each slice. Flavor-wise, it hit that perfect sweet-savory balance. Pasadena, California. Could never get in to Mio Pane since the line is halfway down the block in the 10 times Ive driven by. And they close at 3? What the heck? This last weekend , I walked by at 4 and Lo' the front door was open. I dashed in and focused on the 1 onion bagel left. I saw croissants coming out of the ovens too and thought I will snag a couple of those too. He asked me if I wanted to eat it there and went it's 4 o'clock, aren't you guys closed? No, you grabbed the last bagel and we will let you eat it here. If you prefer, I will make it for you. I was surprised. Whats there to make? And replied OK! He heated my onion bagel and I forgot to ask for cream cheese. Right before asking, I bit into the bagel to sample it, and whoah the bagel was stuffed with cream cheese !!! The cream cheese was layered with oregano leaves too so super delish. IIt is one of the tastiest bagels Ive ever had. Ever! It was nicely chewy the onion topping toasted nicely and the stuffed cream cheese was pure love. For takeaway, I ordered a plain croissant and a maple glazed/ topped croissant. When I got home, I couldn't wait so I tried the maple croissant, I again was blown away. I appreciate authentic croissants, but these took it to another level. This maple topped wonder was light, the crust visibly multi layered, a slight crunch on top and the most delicious maple glaze. I was in heaven. The plain croissant the morning was perfect in every way also flaky, the pastry layers were visible like a sfogliatelle, and with a thick slice of butter, my eyes looked up to God in thanks. Really cute place. It's a thick one so it's shareable, it's more dense than airy. I was able to try the black sesame and strawberry shortcake. Black sesame is good and I like the ratio from the black sesame and cream cheese filling. Strawberry shortcake I wish had a little more filing. Overall its a good and solid bagel These bagels and individually wrapped after you order them Next day you can pop them in the air fryer, still good and tasty. I can see why this place is hyped! They have a huge selection of bagels and croissants, and they sell drinks too. For bagels, we tried the roasted tomato with herbs and cheddar, strawberry shortcake, and blueberry cream cheese. For croissants, we tried the blueberry, everything and egg breakfast, and chocolate. My favorites were the roasted tomato bagel, blueberry croissant, and everything and egg breakfast croissant! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The only downside is that it wasn't warmed up. But if you get lucky and a new batch comes out, definitely order one of those! For drinks, we tried the matcha pillow (has matcha cream top) and hojicha latte. The drinks were way too sweet so I'd definitely recommend to ask for less sweet if possible. The flavor is good though! This place did have a line out of the door, but that's only because they only allow a few groups to order at a time. It's a bit hard to know what you're ordering since you can't see what items they have until you're actually inside. They do have one large table to sit at some counter space and side seats. There's lots of street parking nearby or you can park in a nearby parking lot for a small fee. Overall, would recommend to check this place out! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The line was maybe a 30 minute wait. An employee came out to greet us and thank us for stopping by. Stepping inside they have you wait by the door until someone at the counter calls you. It keeps an area kept empty so people can easily pick up their drinks and not go through a crowd. There's definitely an interesting smell when I walked in. It's like a mix of cheese and sweetness. It was a bit weird at first. I didn't get used to the smell until I sat down. After offering, I didn't wait too long for my drink. Maybe a 5-10 minute wait. There's some seating available inside but easier to take your items to go. Got a sour cream onion bagel and a hojicha pillow. The bagel was very fresh and really liked the garlic cloves inside. Hojicha pillow was good but a bit sweet. Didn't realize I could adjust the sweetness level on my drink. Maybe next time! read more

so much selection. Pastries and drinks have all been great so far. I'm so glad Miopane has been added to Old town Pas. A bread run is so perfect for a great start to a day or an excuse to chat with a friend while waiting in line together. I recommend parking at the city hall area then walking over as street parking isnt always available. The line goes by fairly quick so dont be too intimidated! My favorites so far are the kouign amann and the Whipped cream cheese with garlic butter bagel. Jalapeno bagel is a no brainer- always good! Least favorite so far is the Maple glaze green onion. The onion flavor didnt mesh well with the croissant I think. Workers are verrrry friendly and helpful! Bustling and busy inside always. Aesthetic and has chairs to eat on. read more
I came here around 1pm on a weekday and there was a small line and I waited for 5 mins. The line moves fast. Plenty of variety of bagels and baked goods but they are very pricy. I paid $15 for a strawberry cheesecake bagel and the matcha pillow drink. The bagel was okay - it has a swirl of strawberry compote and sweet cream cheese. I was told this was one of their popular sweet bagel. Skippable imo. Matcha pillow was delicious and perfectly sweet. Both the matcha itself and the cream on top were mild/moderate sweet. You can adjust the sweetness too. The inside has some stool seating and one large table with shared seating. Not a relaxing environment due to the high volume of ppl... I do not recommend this place for hanging out. read more
Miopane is a great addition to the neighborhood and absolutely worth checking out if you're into good bagels and creative coffee drinks. We tried the strawberry shortcake bagel and the everything bagel with smoked gouda. The bagels themselves are excellent. Crispy on the outside with that nice chew and soft center you want from a proper bagel. Objectively speaking, they're very well made. I'll also say something I didn't expect... I'm not a cream cheese person, but even I enjoyed these bagels. The balance of textures and flavors just works. The everything bagel with smoked gouda was especially good. Savory, slightly smoky, and really satisfying. The strawberry shortcake bagel leaned more dessert-like but still had that great bagel texture, which kept it from feeling overly sweet. Drinks were solid too. The coffee einspanner was smooth and creamy with a nice balance between the coffee and the topping. The matcha cloud drink was also really good, light and refreshing with a pleasant matcha flavor. Overall Miopane delivers on both the food and drinks. Great textures, thoughtful flavors, and a spot I'd happily come back to. Definitely one of the better bagel options around. read more

Got here 2pm on a Saturday and there was a short line outside of the shop. I was expecting a longer wait but honestly the line moved pretty fast, maybe only 15-20 minutes before we were able to order. It's counter service starting with bagels and you order drinks at the end. There's a rotating assortment of bagels and they don't have all flavors at any given time. The bagels are warm, slightly crusty on the outside and very fluffy and chewy inside. I enjoyed the ones I tried and while I wouldn't say they're the best bagels I've ever eaten, they're quite delicious and this is a great spot to grab a uniquely flavored bagel. The shop is bustling with customers and there is a communal table with about 10 seats. The service is very friendly and quick, and there are signs everywhere for where to wait, pick up drinks, etc. read more
Have been hearing about this place on social media for so long and finally gave it a try over the weekend. Heard about how long the lines get so came early around 9:30am to beat the crowd. There was still a line at the time but the wait wasn't too bad, only around 30 min. They also gave umbrellas for people waiting so that was pretty nice. They have lots of bagels to choose from, sweet to savory options. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so ended up getting most of the savory options. Got the Sour Cream & Onion Cream Cheese, Roasted Tomato w/ Herbs and Cheddar, Jalapeno Sharp Cheddar, and Whipped Cream Cheese & Garlic Butter. Also got the Matcha Pillow to go with the bagels. The bagels all smelled and looked delicious, and they tasted great too. The Whipped Cream Cheese & Garlic Butter and the Sour Cream and Onion were my favorites since they were savory and not a taste you get sick of. The Roasted Tomato was also pretty good since it's warm and stuffed with tomatos and herbs so it felt like a healthier option out of the others. The bagel size is also the average size and the texture is the perfect soft and chewyness that is easy on your jaw and you can tell it's freshly baked. It is just a bit overpriced for what it is but worth trying! Next time I would only go for one or two different kinds to split with family. As for the matcha, it's not bad but not mind blowing for the price and cup size. I wouldn't get it again. The interior is nicely decorated and has seating. Its a very modern and chic design that fits a brunch hangout. Would recommend giving this place a try since they have many options. But come early or you will wait for a while! read more
I was curious to try this place and see what makes a Taiwanese bagel so special. I think it ultimately comes down to a chewier texture and the fillings, but I wasn't super impressed. My friends and I got the maple green onion croissant, roasted tomato and cheese bagel, black sesame bagel, tiramisu croissant, and earl grey scone with orange peel and chocolate chips. All of them were pretty good but not great. I'd say the standouts were the maple green onion croissant and the roasted tomato and cheese bagel, both of which were more savory and interesting. For a parking tip, park at the Marriott Parking facility down on Raymond Ave. which is right down the block. It's $1 parking for 2 hours, which is more than enough time. The lines here are maybe 30 mins on a weekend and way shorter on the weekdays. read more

Really tasty bagels and I liked how they're stuff in the middle so it's super flavorful throughout. The cinnamon roll was a bit dry and didn't enjoy it as much. Would definitely come back to try their other bagels. There was a line on Saturday afternoon but it moves pretty quick. Came on a Saturday afternoon 30 min wait from line to ordering to receiving drinks. It was very busy inside but the line and amount of people going in were being monitored by an individual at the door which was nice. Hojicha einspanner was 3/5: it wasn't sweet and it was nicely creamy. Matcha pillow was 4/5: loved the creamy top and mixing it all up to get the perfect balance of flavor. Whipped Cream cheese & garlic bagel was 5/5: I would come in line again for this. It looks like an overwhelming amount of cream cheese at first glance but it was perfect. I loved the amount of garlic it was well balanced. I can't wait to come have it again. read more

I Seen MIOPANE on IG and added it to the list of places to visit while in Pasadena. We got there around 8:30 and there was already a line but definitely worth the wait , it does get sunny while waiting outside the employees offer umbrellas to block the sun ( nice added touch) . Now on to the bagels we got one sweet (strawberry shortcake)and one savory (sour cream and onion . Both were delicious the strawberry one to be my favorite . The other is definitely packed with onions . Staff was friendly and next time we are in town we will be back !!! read more

The line for Miopane is now easy. Wait times , at least during the week, are quick. Bagels, pastries and sandwich are still excellent. The sandwich is still one of my favorites - focaccia, ricotta, arugula, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic. I cut this in half and share. read more
Amazing. Scrumptious. Delicious. I have been so excited about Miopane opening in the US!! I have not been to any other locations but I love any chain that comes from Taiwan. The mexican street corn bagel was good, the cream cheese was flavorful and there was a lot of corn on top. The roasted tomato with herbs and cheddar tasted like an upscale pizza bagel! My favorite was the whipped cream cheese and cinnamon pecan bagel. Even the drinks were delicious, we ordered a matcha and a hojicha. We went on a rainy weekend morning and the wait was not long, but the space is small and seating is limited. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and has feminine products available. read more
Nice cozy place that has a lot of variety and unique bread. You can smell the bagels and bread as soon as you walk in and get in line. All the employees were nice and explained the different breads and their recommendations. I personally didn't like the bagels because they were too thick. read more
