Fantastic place to eat! Can't believe it took me so long to visit here. The staff was amazing. We sat at the bar and she was attentive but not pushy. Enjoyed a glass of red wine while my friends had a cocktail and beer. The roasted beet salad was yummy and I would recommend. The small salad was still generous enough for a pre meal taste. As for pizza, even a picky eater can find something here. We had the Pepperoni Puntura and the Oliver's pizza. Wow! It really was all so good. I was impressed. Will be coming back. Fantastic wood fired pizza, but expensive and not particularly filling. But don't deny the taste -- the "mushroom hunter" is outrageously good. I don't know what they do to those mushrooms but the taste and fragrance is next level. We had two pizzas each priced near $25-$30 range and we left still a little bit hungry. This is top level artisan pizza... if you are willing to pay for it. I will be back, but maybe not as often as I otherwise would be if I was rich! read more

Delicious pizza, wonderful wine, and obviously have to get the olives. I love green spanish olives and this is the only place I've come across that does them warm - so good. The beet and watermelon salads were very refreshing, has a fair amount of cheese on each. My favorite of the pizzas was the clam bake, but we also got the Pinocchio and the gluten free potato truffle pizza (which my friend deemed the best pizza on earth). The Cotes du Rhone wine from France was a great GSM at a great value. Can be a casual night out with family or a nice dressy date night. read more

This place has some of the best pizza I've had on the West Coast. The flavors were incredible and I've had to go back twice in 2 weeks. Their hand crafted pies are packing with flavor. Classic Margherita is usually a staple for me at pizza spots but the le patate con tarfuto was by far one of the best pies I've had in my life! Absolutely delicious flavors with the olive oil. Finally tried out Mioposto a few weeks ago for our anniversary, and it was a good spot for a casual but romantic weeknight dinner. Small and bustling, we arrived at just the right time (roughly 7:30pm on a Tuesday). They don't take reservations and there's really no room inside the restaurant to mill about, so we were happy to have a table right away. (Sorry to the party behind us who had to wait out in the cold!) Dimly lit and cozy, we dug the vibe. There's a small bar that's open to the restaurant, and they had a sports game on (probably football? I don't pay attention to these things), but it wasn't distracting where we were seated in the restaurant. Or maybe that's because I strategically positioned my back to the TV's. Anyway, I wasn't bothered by it. Our server was friendly and recommended some good vegetarian options. We shared the mushroom hunter pizza (Garlic roasted portobello, cremini, and oyster mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, fontina, thyme) and the eggplant parmesan with a side roasted beet salad (Greens, goat cheese, cracked Marcona almonds). The beet salad was spectacular. I don't usually say that about salad, but this was so fresh and flavorful. The pizza was also really good. Thin crust, wood-fired, and the tastes and textures were all working. We both agreed that we wouldn't order the eggplant parm again. Too thick cut and saucy for our liking. They serve mostly pizza but have other options as well, and their brunch menu has plenty of great choices - I'd highly recommend the breakfast Stromboli or the baked eggs dish. This spot is... odd. As an avid food enthusiast I must say, what a shame. We decided to order a very traditional and iconic Margherita pizza and a Lasagna that for 20 dollars a serving provided to be worth the money, given the lack of protein and the marked price. Honestly, I don't know if this review will go anywhere and I'm writing this as a means of information to anyone who decides to try this place out. I was served RAW pizza, i attach a picture so you can judge yourself. I woke up this morning with the most awful stomachache I've had in years and without digging into details I will just say it wasn't at all pleasant. I could definitely see why. The person cooking the pizza was squirting oil in the oven as if there was no tomorrow in an effort to cook the pizzas fast it seems and although the crust looked okay, it was doughy inside and the center of the pizza was absolutely raw. I was really hungry and I didn't notice until the second slice which was absolutely my fault, doesn't justify the poor execution nonetheless. Lasagna was bland and lacked texture. Tasted like store bought noodles. Again, for 20 dollars... what a shame. :( read more

Ate here 2 nights in a row with my little niece. Loved everyone that helped us and everything we ate and drank. I have enjoyed meals at Mio Posto in the past but our recent experience was bad enough that we won't be going back. We picked up a takeout order that was over 15 min late from their window's latest time. When we got it home, my order was missing. The rest of the family's pizzas were soggy, not cut well (meaning the slices tore and toppings fell off). Even though they refunded my money promptly, they didn't really try to make amends in any other way and blamed Doordash for everything even though it was clear that they just forgot to check what they gave us against the receipt. The lunch special is 15$ for a salad and an 8 inch pizza (very worth depending on the pizza you get). I had the prosciutto pizza and while it was delicious, the middle was really soggy and floppy. I like to do the olives and an 8" pizza to cure my fix--perfect for sharing if grabbing dinner as well. Of the pizza my favorites are the Spring Lamb Sausage and the Zucca Balsamica Pizza. Once you've built up an appetite, order the open flame Rib Eye Steak--it's an underrepresented treat! Not sure how you like your steak, but order this one medium rare and I promise you will not be disappointed. Now if you're someone who absolutely doesn't eat red meat, come for happy hour order the olives and Caesar Salad and for your entree choose between the Le Patate Con Tartufo Pizza, Zucca Balsamica Pizza or PizzaQuattro Formaggi. Seriously over two hours to make one pizza? But then I looked closer at the pizza and that is why I came onto yelp to further provide some feedback. The pizza wasn't even cut. This place takes over two hours to cook a pizza and they don't even have time to cut it? That's just sad. Go to the Mercer Island location instead.
