Customer service is outstanding. I'm plus sized and up until my appointment at this Miosa branch, I didn't have much success finding THE dress. While so many beautiful dresses, none felt like me and matched my body type in a way that it looked like my body (they usually made me look like I have a very short torso when in fact I have a slightly longer than average torso). I also wanted a lightweight dress I can move freely in without compromising beauty and potential color. My stylist, Kiley, was absolutely amazing, attentive, and compassionate. She made sure to measure me well, considering comfort as well as fit. She listened intently on my preferences, and the first dressed I tried in I cried. Because I finally saw my body. Me. Something that didn't make me feel like I was shorter or bigger than I was (which nothing wrong with that of course, it just wasn't my body type when I looked in the mirror). It was also lightweight while still gorgeous. We tried on many other dresses after that that were all amazing too that it was actually hard to make a decision. Then I found the one. Because it had everything I loved about the first dress, but a but lighter, lace work and sparkle I preferred a bit more, and a very light splash of lilac color which I was hoping for (something that wasn't just traditional white or ivory). I was so stunned it took me a moment to say yes to the dress and I'm so so happy I did! The Aesthetic: So CLEAN, MODERN, and well-lit. There was natural lighting and also the bright lighting in our try-on room. Loved that couches/seating were provided in our own private room. On a whim and feeling a little defeated after visiting another bridal store and not finding anything I liked, I called Miosa in Folsom. I was able to get an appointment that same day. Miosa did a great job at not stifling the experience with precautionary measures. I was still allowed to bring in a reasonable amount of people, we had our own private space, and I was still assisted with dressing. I was helped by Julia who was genuinely pleasant and patient with me. A lot of times you get stylists that can say condescending things in a nice tone of voice, which generally does not mask the message. This was not the case with Julia. She was a breath of fresh air and provided me with selections that not only matched my budget but matched exactly what I was looking for. Julia was able to negotiate the price to a number we were comfortable with and after measuring me and helping me switch back and forth between the two top dresses I liked, we purchased my wedding dress! The dress came in a whole two months early, on top of everything. Miosa was by far the best dress store I visited and I went to 5 different stores in and out of the Sacramento area. Miosa Bride was where I purchased my wedding gown. Unfortunately due to the pandemic and the previous riots the Sacramento location was vandalized and my dress I was told would safely be sent to the Folsom location. During my first appointment there there was some miscommunication and my dress was still in the company warehouse at the time of my appointment (which is why they got 1 star deducted) but everything got straightened out with the mana her and I'm a happy bride now.
