For me, one of the best Colombian bakeries on Roosevelt Avenue! A must try are the Buñuelos made fresh daily and served warm and delicious.

I can't begin to stress how attentive a server must be when having bottomless brunch. Our drinks were filled the second our glasses were empty. I recommend the Sangrita. A flavor explosion of a frozen margarita with the pour of a very good red sangria. Very, very delicious! The food was amazing and most flavorful. My serving of chiliquiles was a good 2 sized portions, even 3 if you eat smaller sizes. The way the salsa Verde hit my taste buds was unlike any other. Breakfast tacos on point. Avocado toast - delicious. Our apps, corn and sweet chili calamari - mouth watering. The way we devoured everything! The restaurant is small but cute in the most perfect way. Servers were accommodating to our space as there were a few esthetic trees by our table and they arranged them so that they wouldn't be in our way. Highly suggest reservations for brunch as it was quite busy.

After posting my review, the owner reached out to me directly to understand what happened with the bill. I shared the details of our visit and they took the time to review the check with their team. They confirmed that the bill was handled incorrectly on their end, apologized for both the mistake and how it was addressed at the table, and offered to make the situation right. What really stood out to me was their willingness to listen, investigate, and take responsibility. Not every business does that, and it speaks well about their integrity and commitment to customer service. To be fair, during the visit itself: The food was good The drinks were very good The bartender was friendly and attentive The issue was mainly the billing error and how it was initially handled, but management stepped in and addressed it properly. Because of that, I'm updating my review and I'm willing to give them another try. Not only because we enjoyed the food, but because the way they handled the situation showed professionalism and respect for their customers

We had our own dedicated server, which made everything feel really seamless. They kept our drinks flowing the entire time, and it was a huge plus not having to flag anyone down. For food, I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The coleslaw on it added great flavor (honestly, I just wish there was a bit more of it). It came with fries that were perfectly crispy--exactly how fries should be. Overall, I had a really enjoyable time. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood or if anyone asks me for a good brunch spot for groups, I'd definitely recommend this place.

Located in one the busiest areas in Astoria. There's always plenty of foot traffic. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was very good overall. It's a bonus that brunch is served everyday until 4pm. For our meal, we ordered the Hangover Skillet and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes to share. Since there were only two of us, the portions were generous and left us satisfied. While the food and atmosphere were great. I wasn't impressed with the service. It wasn't terrible but it didn't match the dining experience. All in all, Oliver's still a solid.choice for brunch in Astoria.

This most recent time,…read moreI grabbed some girlfriends who have never been and we took advantage of their restaurant week menu. On a Thursday night it was quiet with only a few tables taken. Our waiter was wonderful. I started out with the Salmon Tartare which was served with toast and a salad. The salmon was delicious and so flavorful. For the main course I opted for the Steak Frites, served with a green peppercorn sauce and salad. It was wonderful, the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sauce was a nice accompaniment. They also have awesome fries. The others also loved the Duck Leg Confit and the Scampi Risotto. On to dessert and they were all sublime, I tasted them all. The Creme Brulee was lucious, the Chocolate Mousse was decadent with rich chocolate notes and the Il Fouttante was amazing. If you've never had Il Fouttante, it is a meringue floating in creme anglaise, their version was topped with caramel and pistachios; it was excellent. All the newbies agreed with how great it was and they want to return. As always Bistro Eloise delivered a fantastic dinner.

Nothing beats watching world-class soccer in a cozy French bistro packed with fans cheering every kick. Before the game even got going, they welcomed us with warm, perfectly baked French bread and butter. That's how you know you're off to a good start. We kicked things off with the Beef Bourguignon, and wow... rich, tender, and packed with flavor. Next came the Grilled Octopus & Chorizo with paprika butter roasted fingerling potatoes--smoky, perfectly cooked, and absolutely worth ordering. Then came the heavyweight champion: Le Steak Frites. A perfectly medium-rare grass-fed strip steak covered in a green peppercorn white sauce with crispy fries. Zero complaints. Just clean plates. The match was exciting, the food was outstanding, and for a couple of hours it honestly felt like we were sitting in a little corner of Paris instead of Queens. Final verdict: I came for the World Cup, stayed for the steak, and left wondering if I should start saying "oui" instead of "yeah." If the French eat like this every day... I finally understand why they don't rush through dinner.

We basically ordered the whole menu: chicken quesadilla, loaded poppers, lemon pepper wings, the Trestle burger on an English muffin (still undefeated), shepherd's pie, and pig wings. Everything was on point, but the wings, the Mac and cheese and that burger are must-orders every time. The drinks were just as good. We had a frozen Arnold Palmer, a coconut mojito and the boozy blueberry. The overall vibe is calm and chill, perfect for hanging out without feeling rushed. One of my go-to spots for a reason.

The place is LOUD albeit with good taste of retro, 90's music and not the modern trash that floods the radio waves so I can rock with that. Place is sized pretty well with an outside seating area and plenty of tables inside the albeit dimly lit bar/restaurant. Coming into the place I was greeted by a blonde woman who seemed to be a supervisor of the area. She directed me to a comfortable seating area and a server took my order afterwards. The place was relatively busy so the wait for my food was kind of in the long range, about maybe 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken & Waffles with Iced Tea and the food was definitely worth the wait. That chicken was so good, a bit on the crisp side but it's solid in taste. The Waffle had such an awesome texture with the right measure of powdered sugar, decorated with Blueberries and Strawberries, the entrée was plated very well. The Iced Tea, I didn't know it was unsweetened so that threw me off but some sugar kinda fixed that. Service was also 'A' Tier. The place was busy so it was a tad on the slow side but they were very attentive. About 3 different servers tended to me whether it was about my order, how I liked it and paying for the bill when I was finished. That's dedication and I always give props to that. I enjoyed my visit here.

They also have a temporary shed for the summer, for additional outdoor seating. For my meal, I had a pancake burrito, and it was better than I could have expected. The pancake was so fluffy and tasty, with a hint of crisp on the outside and a nice chewy texture overall. The savory components of the burrito worked surprisingly well with the pancake exterior, making for a medley of sweet, salty, and umami that went really well together in every bite.
