Yep, Mirabelle not only serves up fantastic leige waffles, topped with winning combinations like brie + raspberry or peaches + whipped cream, but also offers LAVENDER syrup for your coffee-drinking pleasure. It. Tastes. Amazing. Plus the fact that the staff is awesome, they're super accommodating (the cashier literally handed me one of her own plastic bags that she brought in when I asked for a bag. Note, however, that they don't have bags, lol). They have both soy and almond milk as dairy-free alternatives. Tried the croquette monsieur and the raspberry and brie waffles as well, and they were amazing. They really nail the sweet + savory combo thing here. They offer free wifi, so setting up my laptop for a work sesh was a breeze, and I 100% want to come back and stay in the suites now that I've been to the cafe! read more

An immaculately decorated French or Belgium style cafe across from a Gothic style cathedral with French arches... Perfect location and atmosphere! Amazing combination and the food was so tasty and decadent. The barista was a sweetheart that brewed me a fresh pot of coffee when I called them 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday and made me some tasty waffles and threw in yummy homemade stuff for free! My tummy hurts from old coffee and the fresh cup of locally roasted Savannah Perk coffee was exactly what I had wanted the last three times getting groceries in Savannah. I have a thing for waffles and I've been scouring Savannah for 2 years looking for a "favorite" waffle place and today I found it! I love Blue Door Waffles on Bull Street but they're closed nearly every time I drive by. And, mirabelle has waffles that taste like soft fluffy croissants in the middle and with a crispy multi-layered complex outer crust. The caramelized edges were a splendid surprise. The young man gave me homemade lemon curd and I almost died of joy dunking the chocolate waffles and strawberries into the lemon curd. The coffee was so smooth. I'm also a landlord that restores old houses and I work on locks a lot. The entryway doorknob and lock combination really set the place apart for me and I'm sure it will for any property manager or landlord as well. I can't even begin to imagine how much the front door hardware, hinges and locks set them back, let alone the double doors if they are not original and are custom or reproductions. I don't think any place would have as gorgeous view as this cafe. Set up with in a house with ample windows to enjoy the view of magnificent Cathedral of St John's. However, we walked in to this cafe for it's delicious looking waffle pics on yelp. When we walked in it was about to close in 30mins and I feared they would not have waffles left that late. To my luck, I was proven wrong. We had one of their signature waffles, Georgia Peach Cobbler, so delicious, crispy, warm right amount of sweet!! We did order a Caperese panini and coffee. Coffee was good and panini was well done too. If I am back to Savanah, no points for guessing what my favorite coffee place would be. read more

I liked this place. Right across from the cathedral. The food was very nice. My party of 6 all enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere isn't really set up for sitting. Few outside tables. The music that was being played was loud and unwelcoming to a coffee shop on a quiet street. I think that the mental state and emotions of the customer should be taken into account. The adorable outdoor seating lured us in to Mirabelle in search of a cool drink on a hot day. The staff is friendly and helpful. My husband bought coffee beans and they didn't mind his request to grind them for him. We ordered iced coffee and a couple waffles - all were great! The peach cobbler is absolutely amazing! We found this adorable cafe right in front of the cathedral basilica of St. John the Baptist alongside a beautiful and quaint park. The overall look and feel of the cafe was cozy, unique and historic. We fell in love with the character of the location and the many options the cafe had to offer. We took advantage and took some couples pictures outside At the tables as well. Due to Covid, all seating was outside which made it a delicious brunch with a view of a gorgeous cathedral. You are even able to hear the bells of the church! We each shared some sandwiches/ paninis and amazing waffles! If you love a good waffle, come here! The twist of flavor is what gives this place its uniqueness along with their delicious drink options as well. The majority of my group had iced drinks such as a mocha salted drink. I was able to have a delicious honey latte in which I was able to drink with macadamia milk! I highly recommend this delicious and adorable spot when you visit Savannah. read more

I stumbled upon Mirabelle on a Sunday stroll. I noticed people sitting outside and some French music playing when normally, there is no one by the property. Come to find out that 3 months ago, this chi little spot opened as a cafe and vacation rental. Needless to say, I went inside. As soon as I walked in, fresh waffles and La Vie en Rose met me. It was a quaint little space with a few tasty offerings and a charming feel. The barista that took my order was so nice and informative. He told me that they will soon be rolling out fall menu items. Yes: this does include the infamous pumpkin spice latte. Eat that Starbucks. I'll be happy to follow this place as they grow and get settled in the city. It's a nice tucked away hideaway for me when I want to write and people watch. read more

I adored this place for the old building it's in, and the food -- however, I'd definitely stay away from the (plain) classic waffle. I'm normally the type of person who enjoys simple things like a plain waffle, but the waffles here are dry when consumed by themselves. All their waffles are made with sugar crystals at the bottom that crystallise during the process -- but they end up making the bottom crusty and burnt -- not my thing. And if you get a plain waffle, it comes with powdered sugar, but they don't have butter or any sort of sauce/syrup you can add to the plain waffle. However, if you get any of their other waffles with toppings, it works. My partner got the croque monsieur waffle, and it was absolutely delicious, I wish I had gotten that one instead. Definitely go a specialty waffle. As far as beverages go, they have a fabulous selection of loose leaf teas, and syrups to add to your beverage. I got a chai latte with cardamom syrup -- absolutely delicious. Overall, great place with a wonderful menu of in-house waffles and cafe beverages. Just don't go plain like I did -- you'd be a fool to do so at a place like this! ^_~ read more

What a charming place to grab a coffee and breakfast to go. Enjoyed an easy, 20 minute walk from the waterfront to Mirabelle. The croque monsieur (ham, cheese, gravy on a waffle) and breakfast sandwich were delish, so we're the plain waffles. The menus online list the plain waffles at $7, but inflation has hit everyone and they're now almost $9 a waffle, so a little pricey for the size. If you're wondering, you cannot order online or call ahead, but I love that they actually answer the phone, because many places don't! read more

I love my lattes and not a huge fan of sweets but this cafe totally got me saying the opposite things about what I ordered. I had the lavender latte and the original Belgium waffle with Nutella. My husband and I really enjoyed this little cafe. We wanted to try the waffles everyone raved about and left raving about them, too! I ordered the original liege waffle with powder sugar, strawberries and whipped cream. I had never had a Belgian Liege waffle and this was probably the best waffle I had ever tasted. It had the consistency of a crumb cake rather than a regular waffle's normal chewy texture. The flavor was wonderful-something between a sugar cookie and cake coated in sugar. My husband ordered the house special, which is one of those delicious liege waffles smothered in Nutella, covered with strawberries and and topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar. This place was fantastic! Everything from the decor which makes patrons feel like they're dining in a friend's home to the gorgeous views of St. John's across the street. I ordered the House Special: Nutella, Strawberries and whipped cream - a classic that did not disappoint. I also tried the iced Chai Tea which was perfection. Caveat: I have a sweet tooth and I noticed the sweetness of the drink, but it wasn't overwhelming. For those of you less inclined to sweet things, keep that in mind. Good coffee and food, it's a tiny place hence gets super crowded easily. One suggestion is to make your menu online with QR code's so people can order outside and come in only to collect items. I visited the cafe for breakfast because of the great reviews of the waffles. I had the Southern Belle with lemon curd creme and raspberries for $6. It was good but not as amazing as I expected. I did like the bits of caramelized sugar that I found throughout the waffle and the lemon curd was a creative topping with just the right amount of tartness. The waffles are pre-made and sitting in a display in the counter. When you order, the waffle is reheated and the toppings are added. I think it would have been better freshly made. The interior of the cafe is very cute and exactly the type of place I'd expect to find in Savannah. I sat outside and it's well-shaded in the morning, with a view of the cathedral across the street. I was so excited to try this place after reading the great reviews, but I was really disappointed. We tried 3 of the waffles- peach cobbler, chocolate, and pistachio. They were good, but I think we both expected way more given the reviews we saw. The latte I ordered was also not especially good and not my favorite in savannah. More than anything, I was really turned off by the attitude of the staff. I felt like by asking questions or asking if they had something available it was a huge nuisance to them. I think it's probably better if you go in knowing exactly what you want and don't have too many questions. The inside and outside is adorable though. It was raining when we went in, and didn't feel comfortable eating inside (a little too cramped in covid times for us) so we had it to go. If we came back I'd definitely try it again and try to eat there for the whole experience. Maybe we just had them on a bad day, but certainly not our favorite in the cute for breakfast. read more
