I usually never write reviews however I need to make a statement as I highly, highly recommend Miracle Collisions for anyone looking for any Auto Body work to be done on their vehicle!!!! They truly live up to their name as they make miracles happen with their work done!! I had a lot of damaged done to my Honda Accord as seen in the pics attached. I was referred by a friend who had an excellent experience and paid a reasonable price. My first impression was similar - I found them welcoming, friendly, professional. Once we began discussing an estimate for the repair, however, I started to feel uncomfortable. I understood what they were saying - that the work would not be simple and new parts would need to be ordered - but the estimate was far more than I was expecting and was about $1000 in labor costs above what they quoted me for the parts. In addition, I was told that there could be additional costs above the verbally, quoted estimate if the price for the parts were more when they ordered them or if they found something else was needed once they started the work. Then I felt pressured to not use a credit card (they would charge me an additional percentage/charge) and to pay in cash for a reduced price. After talking with my husband I returned the next day with cash for the deposit and asked for an itemized account of what the charges were going to be (the parts, the painting, the labor) and a receipt for the payment. I was told that "I could not have my cake and eat it, too" - that they would only provide an itemized, written estimate and a receipt if I paid with a check and paid the higher quoted price. I was told that the business card with the price for the parts and quote that they had given me the day before would suffice and they would write on there that I had made a deposit. My gut told me to leave and I did. I do thank them for the information they provided - the next collision guy told me the same thing about the parts needing to be replaced vs. repaired and I knew to ask about the need for parts to be painted. But the estimate at the next place was $1000 less (and this collision place came recommended by my mechanic and a good friend). read more

Dishonest & condescending. Popped in here on a whim to get a quote for damaged quarter panel on my Z4. After explaining that the damage was to the quarter panel only with no other damaged incurred, the guy immediately and without asking for any more information about my vehicle (like the year/model) proceeded to scoff condescendingly and go into a whole dialogue about how "its not that simple" and the "entire interior will have to be gutted, glass replaced (for a REAR quarter panel), and welding done". Perhaps I forgot to remove the "Im a total sucker who doesnt know jack" sign on my forehead that day, but at perhaps this will give others an idea of the type of dishonest and exploitative practices one could expect on a random visit to this shop. When I made the attempt to explain to him that I already had the replacement quarter panel and had already been quoted by other shops that this panel can simply be bolted on for this particular model, he proceeded to scoff again and gave me the "sir, we've been doing this for 32 years..." at which point I simply walked out. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys being condescended to or who's body work is being paid for by insurance and would therefore not be responsible for absorbing the cost of the absolute maximum amount of unnecessary work. read more

My experience with Stan, the owner of this auto body shop was nothing short of amazing. Two years ago, my car had been hit while I was parked, which resulted in my left side bumper being displaced. I had kept on putting off a repair and was just snapping it in place, until it no longer held on my recent trip to the Ithaca area. My bumper was only held together via guerilla tape. However, when I made it back to the Brooklyn, I took it over immediately to Miracle. Stan checked out my bumper and determined without any hesitation that all I needed was a left side bumper bracket. Within 24 hours, he had the part and when I came back for the repair, he did it in under 20 minutes and even didn't charge me for removing the mark left from the tape holding my car in one piece. In less than twenty minutes, I was so delighted with the work performed, I wanted to give this shop the acknowledgement it deserves. I hopefully won't have a reason to come back in the near future. I've had 3 of my cars fixed here over the course of the last 4 years . Stan has always been very upfront with me, and has helped guide me with insurance claims and out of pocket expenses. In 2014 when a snow plow raked the side of my car - Stan helped me deal with insurance to get the car fixed good as new. In 2016 when I accidentally backed my CRV into an object, Stan gave me a great offer to fix my bumper, touch it up, fix clips on it - and cost me FAR less than I expected - didn't even go through insurance. Just last week in my new CRV, a gentleman opened his car door as I was driving by, clipped my mirror and cracked the housing. We decided not to exchange info and go our separate ways. When I got to Stan, he looked at the damage, promised me a good deal and called Honda genuine parts. Asked me to cover the parts price and a very small amount for labor (paint and replace). When the part arrived, it was already painted, so Stan didn't even charge me for labor, just the part value. I wish all car places were like this. read more

I was hit by someone and needed to get bodywork done on my car. I read the reviews for Miracle Collision and decided to give them a try. This was my first time getting bodywork done, so I was nervous. Stan was amazing at helping me understand and navigate the entire process with my insurance and the insurance of the person at fault. I felt confident he was a straightforward and honest businessman from the start. When it came time to get the repair done, he arranged to have the car rental agency pick me up to take me to get my rental, as well as take me back when it was time to pick my car up. The repair looks amazing, and I believe Stan when he said he works hard to negotiate with insurance companies to ensure the highest quality repair on behalf of his clients. They returned my car detailed with a little touch-up paint gift sitting in my coffee holder. I came to this body shop initially with the vandalism problem (someone vandalized my entire car with the key scratch all around). Stan convinced me that this would be a very expensive job and should be put through insurance. Right before turning my car in, I damaged my left back door in the garage (damage to the door was average, door needed to be replaced). Stan told me to put this claim through insurance as well. The body shop dealt with my insurance directly (setting up the claim, meeting adjuster, etc). Next thing I knew my insurance paid over $5000 for vandalism and over $5000(!) for the door work. I was in shock. I came to Stan very concerned that my insurance will go up. He claimed it should not be an issue and at that point it was too late to change anything. In the end, my insurance went up almost 35% (which will continue for 3 years!) because the damage exceeded a certain $ threshold. Furthermore, my car is financed and now the insurance claim for the door is a permanent record which will lower the price of the car when I sell it. To say that I was screwed by this body shop is an understatement of a century. I asked around afterwards and the damage to the door should not have been more than $1500-2000 (considering all parts were originals). I gave two stars instead of one because the actual paint and repair job was good. However, the cost of increased insurance premium plus loss of resale value of the car significantly outweigh the quality of the job. Finally, even though the body shop got paid almost $11,000 for the work, they didn't even fix small dents on the back bumper (because it wasn't part of the claim). I feel I was taken advantage of and duped without even slight consideration of how it would affect my insurance and car resale value (and having such extensive experience Stan obviously knew what would be the outcome for me). Extremely disappointed but lesson learned. Thank you for that. read more
