We just moved to frankfort about a month ago and have been looking for a good pizza place and i think we have found our spot, not only is their customer service great but their pizza is amazing. This was without a doubt one of the worst deep dish pizzas we have every attempted to eat. As my friend said he has had better frozen pizza's.The quality of the mozzarella was terrible. Full of sodium and very tough. The sausage was non existent. The once wonderful Miroballi's Pizza we have known for 25yrs no longer exists. It's as if the the original recipe ingredients have been cut in half. It's such a shame. The previous owner for last 25 yrs may have been temperamental but clearly bc he knew the level of quality and expense it takes to make the perfect pie. Fantastic place. The pizza was delicious! The owner takes pride is his work and it really shows. He will call you when the pizza is in the oven and waits to cut it until you arrive. Never experienced service like that before. We will be back. read more

I grew up in Tinley Park where there was a Miroballi Pizza and it was always the best. Fast forward more years than I want to admit too and I find myself back in Chicago for a visit. I wanted to have some of that old pizza but find the original location closed. Luckily I found this location and it was the same delicious pizza I remember. Crispy crust, ample spicy sauce and quality cheese make it just about perfect. This place is WAY out of the way but one of the best pizzas I've ever had. read more

This is the worst place. During Covid, they weren't wearing masks and charged us an extra $20 for "increased prices in cheese". Do not go.

The only reason I won't give it zero stars is because it won't let me. We were ordering pizza this weekend and after placing the order with the guy he read it back and it didn't sound right so I asked him to repeat it. I could not believe it when he responded "I don't need to repeat it I know I got it right" I thought he was joking I said that it just didn't sound right. He said " are you telling me I'm wrong, I'm the owner I don't need to repeat it" at this point I was just in total shock and said you know what just cancel the order to which the owner replied " I don't give a shit" and hung up. We will NEVER order from here again it is totally unbelievable that the owner would treat customers like this. WOW is all I can say. I would order from somewhere else if I were you. read more

OMG! Ever since tasting probably the best pizza ever..in Springfield IL last year, I have been on a quest to find a similar tasting pizza nearby. I finally decided Capri's was close enough....until Tonight when I accidentally stumbled upon Miroballis! The thin crust sausage pizza was delicious, generous with cheese and sausage. I have never eaten here, but here's why you should avoid this place. I have visited the strip mall in which this place is located several times. More than once I've witnessed employees who work there smoking inside the restaurant. This is since the smoking ban in restaurants was passed. I mean if the rules say no one can smoke in restaurants, then I don't want to trust the people who break state laws will also be sanitary when preparing food. But here's the final nail in the coffin for this place in my book. I saw a guy who works there (I think he's the owner because he's not a kid) swatting at a fly (or at least that's what it looked like to me when I saw him in the window). This guy was SHIRTLESS. This place has been around for a long time and I have been a fan for a long time. Great pizza! Now I have only had pick up so I cannot tell you about the service other than delivery and pick up... which is very good! This place is awesome. Their delivery is fast. The pizza is excellent. They often have great coupons and if you chose to pick it up the staff is always very friendly. I'm not sure if they are family owned but it feels like they are. It's nice to support a local business rather than a large chain. I'm very particular about sauce and theirs is great. the pizza here can be good, but it is not consistent... sometimes it's overcooked. It's the most basic pizza joint I've ever seen: a couple of pizza ovens and a counter. When I was young, I lived in Frankfort for 4 years and Miroballi's was one of the places we would get pizza. In the past few years, I thought about the place and decided to head out there to try it again. I really liked the pizza when I had it again. The crust is quite good and the cheese is excellent. The sauce is a bit spicier, which doesn't always sit well with me, but not to a horrible level. The staff does seem somewhat disinterested, thus why I did not give it five stars. Eh-the pizza is so-so. We ordered half sausage, extra cheese and extra sauce-well done. Got everything we asked for. The cheese was really good. Like one of the other reviews stated, the sauce is kind of bland. Not the best and not the worst we have had. Best pizza around, and best value around. Period. You can taste the difference in the ingredients. The cheese is better quality by far than at Aurelio's or the equivalent type place. Same with the sausage - it is lightly and simply spiced, and you can tell it is not the typical pureed/formed/processed crap found elsewhere. The place is basically take-out only, is not fancy or trendy, and is easy to miss unless you know where to look. More importantly, the kitchen (which you can fully see from the waiting area) is always SPOTLESS. The employees do not appear as though they work front-of-house at the Ritz-Carlton, but they are always courteous and polite, and presentable. Most importantly, THEIR PIZZA IS SPECTACULAR!!!!! Sad to say that we placed an order from Miroballi's and, 3 hrs later, no delivery. Called in repeatedly, nobody answered their phone.

This was a average pizza if not slightly below. The crust is good, but the sauce is bland and veggies were pretty blah. It's a small place, basically pickup only (I typically root for the little guys), but it's also got a dingy/dirty (outdated?) atmosphere that hints at potential food safety issues (I grew up on a farm and don't have one ounce of germophobia). It's very close to home so I may get this pizza again but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

This place is as basic as it gets, in a good way. I laughed at some of the other less than stellar reviews, typically quoting employee apathy or cleanliness issues as takeaways. Well, you may be right, but the pizza is damn good and what do you expect from a greasy neighborhood pizza joint? Pizza is great. But that's it! I had over 20 hungry people in my house last night so I ordered from this place. I personally don't trust any business that doesn't have a credit card machine but whatever, my husband loves the pizza so I placed the order. The owner said they didn't really want to deliver but if it was close they would. We are. Then he proceeded to tell me that he'd been ripped off that night by people placing orders and not wanting to pay so he'd have to send a driver to collect the cash before making the pizza. What?! I even offered to come pick up instead and he said no. Pizza took 2 hours to deliver. The owner delivered and said I gave him the wrong address (which I did NOT). He asked my husband if I was buzzed or something (which I was NOT). He told my husband he was closing the place so to enjoy the pizza while he could. My husband asked him if they could have a chat so the guy got in his car and burned rubber down my street. I totally don't blame him for that. Anyways, get this pizza while you can. read more
