The freshest sushi in Aurora or Denver! And the karaage is hands down incredible. Friendly service, great prices, delicious food.

We headed to Misaki on Mother's day for dinner with our two children, and although the place as slammed - I mean, or course it was, because it is that awesome - I was offered a glass of complimentary wine, and my kids were welcomed. If you haven't asked for the special "fun chop" chopstick holder, do next time. My 5 and 7 year old can eat with chopsticks which is a great leaning experience for them, although I am sure it is more work, and more cleanup afterwards for Misaki. This place was awesome! We arrived and there were no tables available yet the man who seemed to be the manager promptly greeted us and was urgent to get us a table. This is the best sushi I've eaten in Colorado in 8 years. The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is fun and casual, and the food is unreal. My girlfriend and I had a lovely experience at Misaki. We ordered the tuna avocado roll and the spicy poke roll which were both fresh and absolutely delicious. Not only were the rolls delicious, but fast, too! We were fortunate enough to speak with Robert (owner or manager) after dinner and he was extremely friendly and personable. Dipped my toe in the water with just a couple rolls. Yellowtail scallion and Poke. Both really good. Plenty of fish and priced about what good sushi should cost given we're 1000s of miles from any ocean. Very few actual tables at the restaurant itself, but most appear to order to go and eat at all the surrounding common tables at the Stanley. read more

It's been years since I've been to Misaki, but the yellowtail still visits my dreams from time to time. If you ever find yourself in Aurora, do yourself a favor and go to Misaki and make sure you eat plenty of yellowtail sashimi. read more

This small but popular place gets super crowded, especially on the weekends. There are not many tables and just a few seats along the sushi bar. There is not much the ownership can do about that and I see the chefs working hard to keep the food coming out. That said, the sushi here is quite good, maybe not the best in town, but those (to remain unnamed) places are very pricey. There is little not to like about this place. read more

We've gone to this place twice now during the pandemic and we LOVE them! The service is awesome and so is their sushi. We got the dragon ball, salmon tartare, and tropical coconut with the crab Rangoon and they were delicious. The sweet and sour has a nice kick to it as well. My order was 107 on 6/7/2021. My tempura lobster rolls were missed. I called the store and they informed me they would refund me. The soft shell crab rolls were inedible as was the seaweed salad. There is better quality at King Soopers. I spent nearly $50 and my husband didn't get a meal because the lobster rolls were missed. I have supported your restaurant for 5 years and this is not the quality I expect. read more

The sushi is really good, but unfortunately the service is just awful. They're just really disorganized. We went up to order at the 'order here' sign, but as soon as we told them we were eating there, they insisted we sit down and they'll take our orders. We sat down for a while before I had to go up to the counter and remind them that we were there. They apologized and came over and took our drink orders. When we finally got around to ordering food, we ordered an appetizer and 3 rolls. Took quite a while to finally get our food, and when we did they didn't bring out one of our rolls or our appetizer. We had to remind them that we we're waiting for our roll, and then when we reminded them of our appetizer, they decided THEN to tell us that 'oh yeah, sorry, we're out of that item', 20 minutes after we had ordered it! The nail in the coffin is that when we finally got the check, the guy realized he hadn't charged me for my one beer. Instead of just letting it slide to make up for the bad service, he grabbed the check and immediately ran back to make sure I'd get charged for it. Also, their Sake selection is very small for individual servings. Like I said ,the sushi is quite good, but their service is horribly disorganized. read more

This place is simply the best sushi we have ever had. We are natives of Hawaii and we know great, fresh sushi. Our Friends invited us on a ski trip with them, last year when we stumbled upon this little gem. We took the opportunity to meet the wonderful owners, Charlene and Robert. They are business owners committed to serving great sushi, at a great price point. We learned some things about the care they take to ensure that we got the freshest fish to our table. Our experience this year topped the one from last year and we will be looking forward to coming back next year and every year after. Maybe they will consider opening one in Nashville,wink wink. Have gone here a few times before. Sushi is always excellent. Service is horrible. Last Saturday was a busy night. And we were seated not in the restaurant seating area. But in the middle common area of the Stanley, at a dirty table. Thought this was strange, not sitting in the restaurant area but after five minutes they seated another couple in the same area. So we just went with it since we were so hungry. After sitting there, for seem like a while, someone finally came and took our order. After we ordered, we noticed the couple that was seated five minutes after us, already had their food??? Assuming we are are going to get our food shortly we just continue to wait and wait. We got our appetizer after about 20 minutes. After we finish our appetizer, we wait for another 45 minutes. After being ignored for so long we were getting ready to leave. They see us getting up and they run over to us and say oh we have been really backed up. We are so sorry. They and bring us part of our order. Only the pieces of nigiri sushi. (we ordered nigiri and 4 rolls) By this time we have watched several couples order, eat their entire meal and leave. After we get our 4 pieces of nigiri, They bring us the rest of our order in a to go container. It had been sitting up at the to go stand for over a half hour. They said it had just come up and they mistakenly put it in a to go container....(lies) How do you put half an order in a to go container in half an order on a plate??? After sitting for so long at the to go stand it was warm and gross. By this time it had been almost close to an hour and a half at this restaurant waiting for food. Since our rolls were already in a to go container, and we were tired, cranky and very hangry, we just asked for a bag and left ..... $77.80 and 2 hours wasted. read more

Wonderful service, and the owner (Robert) greets us each time we visit. The sushi is beyond fresh and always tasty. We love the speciality rolls, especially the Caterpillar and Green Hama! The kids love the atmosphere - it's so easy to sit with a large group in the common area and not worry about being loud. We always end up going over to Sweet Cow for ice cream afterwards (another favorite!). read more

This sushi is simply delicious. I've lived in Denver for 5 years and I love sushi. I haven't found a reasonably priced place of this caliber anywhere. The fish and ingredients were fresh, light and flavorful. The owner, Robert, came over and chatted with us and told us all about where the fish were flown in from (Japan, Norway, among other countries). He has also been in the wholesale fish/distributing business for over 10 years and his knowledge shows in his food! We had the Dragon Ball and Toasted Coconut rolls and they were amazing! Spicy edamame and gyoza were excellent as well. Definitely check this little stand out in the Stanley Marketplace!!! read more

Best sushi I've ever had! The fish is so fresh and melts in your mouth. I highly recommend trying the Japanese fried chicken as well!

We picked this place on the recommendation of our son - and we were very happy with it. We got a mix of maki and a couple of nigiri. The quality of the rice is great, and the fish was extremely fresh tasting. Also, the cuts of the fish showed that the chefs know very well what they are doing. Service was very warm and friendly. The sushi was average at best. The appetizer we got was the shrimp dumplings and they were flavorless with a slight mush texture. The salmon nigiri was okay. Nothing special.
