Their pastries and baked goods options looked INSANE like WOW, not many coffee shops have this many incredible looking options so hats off to them. Their drinks are made quickly and are really yummy. I tried their peanut butter cup latte and fell in LOVE with it. So delicious. Very unique. Employees were all very kind. Restaurant kept very clean and the space is huge. Lots of seating with 2 floors!!! Street parking nearby for free

I visited St. Elmo Coffee Pub in Del Ray again today, and just like every season I've been here -- summer, fall, winter, and spring -- this place continues to be a gem. It's always full of life, with families, friends, kids, people of all ages enjoying great coffee and warm company. The atmosphere feels genuinely welcoming -- comfortable, lively, and inviting without ever feeling overwhelming. I had the multigrain toast with smoked salmon and cream cheese -- absolutely delicious. Fresh, balanced, and satisfying. The coffee here never disappoints -- consistently excellent every single time I've been. My guest ordered an egg and cheese bagel with turkey sausage and loved it as well. St. Elmo is one of those places that just makes you feel good to be there. Great food, kind people, cozy vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing coffee break, a light snack, or even a casual lunch. A neighborhood favorite -- and for good reason.

We loved this place the first time we came back in March, we loved our drinks and thought it was an adorable spot in town! Unfortunately we were disappointed when returning this weekend....my latte order was wrong, but I decided to keep it because mistakes happen. But then I tasted it, and it was extremely foamy. a just tasted a little off....Then I got to the near bottom of my cup and noticed this giant clump of chocolate powder? We also got the golden spice latte and were met with a similar disappointment of an extremely large foamy layer ontop. Willing to give it another try sometime, because I would rather go to a local spot than any big chain coffee! But for now I can't defend giving more than 3 stars.

First time in Delray and I'm loving the area! We stumbled upon this coffee spot while walking around, and I had to check it out -- the cool art outside and the name reminded me of an '80s flick, St. Elmo's Fire (even though it has nothing to do with the movie, haha). I tried the mocha latte with oat milk, and it was delicious. Definitely a great coffee shop to try if you're in the area!

Actually St Emo's... ZERO STARS. Here we are at 7:45 on a Tuesday and your doors are locked with workers inside while your hours read you are open until 8:00! Not ok.

This spot is basically my second office! I've always loved the neighborhood vibe, the great coffee flavors, and the fact that they use real ingredients in their food. Only knocking a point because, like everywhere else, prices are creeping up. I was charged $1 for alternative milk and another $1 for vanilla--that felt a bit excessive. That said, it's still an amazing place to cowork. Just be sure to pack a few extra coins!

I stopped in after my dental appointment to treat myself ... unfortunately this was a let down. When I arrived around 9:45am it was pretty busy with most tables occupied but plenty of chairs at the bar. There only one person in the line ahead of me ordering but I had plenty of time to peruse and make some choices. There was a wide variety of wine, pastries, an all day breakfast and lunch menu, patio and indoor seating so honestly it felt like something for everyone. After some discussion with the cashier, I learned the lavender homemade syrup was out and the strawberry wasn't recommended for coffee beverages (bummer). I settled for a blackberry iced latte half sweet and ordered the bacon and Brie croissant. The latte came out pretty quick but didn't have enough ice and honestly just tasted like an oat latte. The bacon and Brie took a little while like almost 10 minutes and they packed it to go ... no big deal except once I unwrapped it the croissant was slightly too toasted and the bacon was well burnt and the Brie may have been too because it was hard to bite into . I was disappointed in my choice and selecting this as my treat to myself. I can't say I would come back here if I was in the area but perhaps others will give it a try because it was pretty busy.

St.Elmo's is my favorite coffee shop in the area. They consistently provide great coffee and good food for a fair price. Today I tried the special breakfast burrito ($6.99) and the Alexandria burrito ($7.99). Both were fantastic and came out piping hot. The ingredients were very fresh and good quality. This shop is fairly busy but I'm never waiting long for coffee/food. There's also plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). I always find myself coming to back to st.elmos when I'm looking for classic coffee shop vibes

If you like that neighborhood like coffee shop that is not corporate or a chain you very well may be at home in St Elmo's. It is relatively basic with some wooden tables and chairs. There were groups meeting when I visited. I was disappointed that they serve beverages in paper cups even if you are drinking in house. Service was fine but perhaps not as friendly as I would have expected. My coffee was fine.

Love this place and come here a few times a month. It's almost always buzzing with activity! Their coffee is great here -- love the lattes and during the fall they had a great pumpkin spice latte made with real pumpkin purée. Have also gotten some baked goods here which were tasty as well! Service is quick and friendly. One of my favorite spots in Del Ray!

The outside seating area is filthy! Tables all dirty and sticky! Embarrassed to invite a friend to meet here! Very sad and disappointed! This place was amazing a few years ago! Would not recommend now - won't come back unless ad

Unfortunately, whoever the individual was on shift today was just a total piss poor person - she seemed to have an issue with our party, as she automatically assumed we just came there to 'squat' without ordering anything (if you have been to this place before, there isn't much seating and this isn't where you'd want to sit for a bit anyway); when I called her out and stated that I already knew our party's orders, she backtracked. She then continued to make a snide comment on the number of drinks we were ordering - what's with the passive aggressiveness? I didn't know that there was some rule that each person was required to order something. Like, are you okay? I just had a bad feeling about all of this, and we should have just walked out instead of giving our money to support this business - to add to it all, the coffees that we did receive (latte with soy milk, and the mocha) were just poorly made and not strong at all; they were both watered down and bitter at the same time... come on! UGH, the regret, but it was a choice. Shame on you, Via Volcán! You might want to heavily reconsider who you employ and train them better - this individual is really hurting your business! What a miserable person. Street parking can be found in the area. +NASTY employee +watered down/bitter coffee +street parking in the area

My mom had also ordered an iced tea that still hadn't arrived when the rest of our food and drink had arrived so she canceled it. They sourced a lot of their food from local purveyors, and you can really tell it in the flavor of everything. The sausage was some of the best I've had. Because of all the hiccups, the manager came over and profusely, apologized and even comped part of our meal to make up for the issues. It really felt like they actually cared, and that this was a fluke rather than a regular occurrence, which I really appreciated. Everyone can have an off day.

Nothing against the establishment, but I discovered that Jasmine isn't a drink flavor that I particularly like.
