To preface, I ordered delivery right before closing (fault of my own), but I was not the biggest fan! I should give it another shot in person, but not I felt the quality of the fish was a bit frozen-- Need to come back in perhaps! Cheers!

    - Such a cute, very small, family owned sushi restaurant in East Village. I've ordered so much from here and so many times that the owners know me by now oops LOL - This place offers good sushi for SO cheap. Their salmon sashimi and yellowtail sashimi appetizers are well marinated and super refreshing. I always get the Sushi Deluxe and Triple Sushi dinner entrees - they are delicious and come with your choice of miso soup or salad. The Miso's Dinner Set is also a must get order for me. You get any 3 rolls AND an appetizer AND soup/salad - all for only $25. Their rolls never miss. I've tried every single roll and they are all so so good. The vegetable dumplings and seaweed salad appetizers I tried are good too. - They also offer party platters, which are such a good deal. I got the Roll Party Tray (12 rolls for $62) and it was sooo good and filling. Their rolls are all so amazing. The Sushi and Sashimi Combo for Two is also a great choice. It comes with 16 pieces of sashimi, 9 pieces of nigiri/sushi, a dragon roll, and a rainbow roll. So much sushi for only $68. - Their sashimi and nigiri pieces are HUGE. I love love love and appreciate so so much that their fish is SO big and thick. It's so worth the price and the quality of their sushi actually is pretty good considering how cheap everything is!

Ubereats delivery. Ordered any 3 rolls lunch special- salmon avocado roll, shrimp tempura roll, and spicy white crunchy tuna roll with miso soup, and a Dancing dragon roll. Delivery distance approx 1.5 miles, food came quick. Presentation was... not really what we expected, especially the Dancing dragon roll (shrimp tempura with mango inside with spicy crunchy eel on top) - it didn't look appetizing and the eel was neither spicy nor crunchy. Construction of all the rolls was all pretty sloppy, and for having only traveled 1.5 miles, 15 minute lapse from when the app said driver had food and was on their way, all of the rolls tasted mushy, definitely no crunch where crunch should have been and didn't taste fresh. Highly unlikely to order from here again given other options that are better closer to me, but I can see how this might be someone's go-to no frills sushi takeout.

Honestly? Miso Sushi surprised me. As someone who's been to over 30 omakase restaurants, I've had my fair share of ultra-premium fish. So I came in with tempered expectations--but for the price? This place seriously delivers. The fish is super affordable and actually pretty decent quality. You're not getting A5 toro flown in that morning, but what you are getting is fresh, satisfying sushi that genuinely scratches the itch when you want sushi without breaking the bank. Everything was cleanly cut, well-balanced, and made with care. If you're craving sushi on a budget but still want something that respects the craft--this is the move. Will I be back? 100%. It's now my go-to spot for an everyday sushi fix.

Horrible spicy salmon roll made by someone's feet

I've ordered from here before and felt compelled to write a review after my most recent experience. Previously I had liked this place and thought, "what great value!" - but after today I cannot say this again. The rolls are all falling apart and so so terribly constructed. The eel roll has pieces sticking out at every end and looks very unappealing. It's tastes just ok. The shrimp tempura roll is more like a rubber eraser. The shrimp is so overdone!!! The spicy salmon roll is comically poorly rolled. I am attaching a photo for your amusement. It also tastes like crap. Imagine old lox, just add sriracha. The gyoza tastes old and the miso soup... how do you mess this one up? Also- has this old flavor- as though they reheated someone's leftovers and packed it up for me. I'm gonna say hard pass on this. Never again :(

    Destiny A.

The scenery is very nice and cozy and their shrimp tempura is so delicious and crunchy... the spicy salmon rolls are soft and the right amount of spicy

I've been going here since I moved a couple years ago. What a great staple for takeout or a nice stress-free causal sit down dinner. I just threw a party and ordered multiple party platters and other food. Not only were they so accommodating, they delivered it perfectly on time, so fresh and pristine for such an unbeatable price. My guests absolutely devoured every bite of it. Couldn't recommend more. I hope them the best of business because they really deserve it.

Ordered the Any 3 Rolls dinner special, which include soup or salad, appetizer, and 3 sushi rolls. Ordered the miso soup and seaweed salad appetizer and both were well flavored. The seaweed salad was extremely fresh. The rolls were really clean and simple (ordered the salmon, spicy tuna, and eel/avacado). Was impressed with both the quality of the fish and the portion size in the sushi rolls. Service and ambience was efficient, clean and comfortable. Great place for sushi!

Spicy Crunchy Shrimp Roll, Miso Soup, Gyoza

The most affordable takeout sushi spot in the EV :) I always get the crunchy shrimp roll (the crunch is always fresh, never soggy) miso soup, and gyoza. My fav takeout spot!

Was in the mood for some sushi and while I was scoping around Yelp, the lunch specials here caught my eye and so I decided to check it out! Located in East Village, this is a cute and quaint sushi spot on 6th St. After looking at the menu, I went for a take out order and my food came out within 10 minutes. I ended up ordering the "any three roll" lunch special with tuna avocado, shrimp tempura, and salmon as my rolls. There was also an option for soup or salad and I went for the salad! From the looks of the roll, they definitely don't skimp out on the protein with a generous amount in all three of my rolls. As for taste, I would say it's on par with how sushi should taste. Considering the rolls I got, the two fish ones weren't packed with much flavor on their own but paired with soy sauce, it does the trick. It wasn't anything extraordinary but it definitely satisfied the craving! Overall, a solid choice if you're craving sushi and want it for a reasonable price without being low tier. Definitely check out the lunch specials because they have some good deals!

Sashimi deluxe, vegetable gyoza, 3 rolls

This place is probably new so doesn't have any reviews yet but it is just so good! We got the sashimi deluxe and the dinner special and we honestly could not believe how large the sashimi pieces were and how much food we ended up getting honestly. The place is cozy and the people working are really friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend the sashimi deluxe for the insanely large pieces of fish you get (you get 16 pieces for 20 bucks thats insane!)

Im surprised by all the good reviews. While you can get a lot of food for your money I don't think the quality of sushi was something I could stomach. I just didn't enjoy it and ended up throwing a lot of it out.

salmon rolls! they could go harder on the rice but honestly I was so so impressed by the amount of fish ($5.75 a roll)

Good service, but the quality of the food was average. Not the best sushi I have had in NYC, but a trip well spent regardless.

Frozen beer comes with that slushie foam cap they do in Tokyo and it keeps the pint cold to the last sip, which matters when the room is this warm and packed. Service is fast and a little chaotic. But at last, as I searched on DoorDash I stumbled upon this glorious restaurant they call Izakaya Fuku. I was drawn to the adorable names for their sushi roll dishes like "Strawberry Fields" and their Italian Japanese fusion pasta dishes, "Creamy Mentaiko Bacon Pasta" with creamy mayonnaise, spicy cod roe and bacon like are you kidding me? It's a bummer I wasn't more hunger or that I didn't have more bucks in my wallet because I wanted all these dishes. And the Chirashi Don, god it looks so beautiful the way that it's arranged in the photos online. I finally decided on the carbonara. And I was drawn to the fact that it was udon based. Now, I've just been living in hawaii these past years so that Japanese twist on an Italian dish that I just love oh so much really brought me back to missing the islands and the Asian spins they had on cuisines. Now my food may have not come in a jiffy but for after midnight cravings I'd say it was well worth the wait. And my oh my the portion was huge!!!! I slurped that big boy up. It was SOOO delicious and savory. I love comfort food and this had me in carbonara heaven. I loved indulging into every single last bite. Once "dinner" hours comes around, they set out candles on the tables and dim the lights for a different ambiance. The service was a bit off at first, since we waited a while to get our appetizers. This might have been due to the change in staff between lunch and dinner. The hostess noticed and checked on our appetizers, and got them right out. Afterwards, we had different waiter and he was very friendly and attentive. We did the Pick 3 appetizers: -Kyuri (cucumber): love the mix of flavors with the onions, vinegar and salt. The kyuri has a good bite to them -Kimchi Mushroom: the mushrooms also had a good bite to them. Not too spicy of a kimchi sauce, which I liked as it did bot overpower the mushrooms. -Shishito: I enjoyed the saltiness of the kelp with the char of the shishito. I like the lemon on the side to help cut some of the richness. The egg is well marinated and perfectly jammy. The Hassaku Grapefruit Juice is a nice non alcoholic option. Very grapefruity and too sweet. We ended with the Tokyo Banana, which had a deliciously bruleed banana. They wrote Happy Birthday on the plate and had a little candle on the side.
