Salmon salad - huge and delicious
    Melanie L.

Casual spot with plenty of parking in the underground parking lot. The food is a bit pricey, but the portion is pretty huge. Atmosphere is nice and casual. Dalgona - super sweet but I also love it. Golden smoked salmon - $21 but huge. I'm not big on kale, yet I'm okay with it in this salad. The last two times I had this, they did not skimp on the salmon. Pretty filling lunch.

AMBIENCE it's quite busy on afternoon weekends, so we were on the waitlist. since there within a plaza, there are plenty of shops to check out while we waited for around 15-30min. FOOD mango sago pomelo souffle pancakes - they were fluffy, but ive had better in other spots where it melts in your mouth. i wish they had more pomelo toppings to pair with the pancakes. the cream itself was good! bacon eggs benedict pancakes - i like that they use their signature pancakes as the base, which differentiates it from other usual eggs benny. still, it just tasted okay and was nothing to rave about. the sauce on the salad was good! SERVICE the service was very slow, and the staff were a bit cold. overall, i wouldn't come here again. it might be nice for pics, but the quality of the food doesn't quite justify it's price.

Located across from the AMC theater in the plaza. Parking is underground and there are many spots available. It was my first time dining at this place. I didnt know whether to walk up to the counter to ask for a table for 2 or if they were going to greet me to sit me at a table. They apologized for not seeing me and told me to pick any 2 top table. They really do mean 30 minutes minimum to make the souffle pancakes so order that first if you plan on getting them!! I got the mango one and it was jiggly, soft, and had a tang to it! The intererior was very narrow, and you are very close to the next patron. Noise level was decent. I came during breakfast, but I would love to come back and try their lunch menu!

I was working in the area today and was looking for a place to have breakfast. I came across Gram Cafe & Pancakes and decided to give it a try. The menu has a lot of options, and honestly, everything looked really good. I ended up ordering the Golden Salmon Salad. It was fresh, well presented, and tasted good, but it wasn't anything that really stood out or made me want to order it again. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. It's definitely a good spot for brunch if you're in the area. I'm giving it 4 stars because I had a good experience overall, but the food I ordered didn't quite impress me enough for a full 5. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other dishes, especially the pancakes. If those are as good as they look, I could see myself updating this to a 5 star review in the future.

We had family visiting from out of town, and this was the perfect place to bring them, especially with kids ages 3-6. Our server, Brian, was attentive, funny, and handled our large order with ease. He kept everything moving quickly and fixed the few small mistakes right away. This was my third visit, and I've officially become more addicted to the Matcha French Toast than their signature soufflé pancakes. Don't let the 20-minute wait for the soufflé pancakes scare you. Their coffee drinks, made with real matcha and not overloaded with sugar, are excellent and will keep you satisfied while you wait. The pancakes arrive before you know it. The Wagyu curry is always my go-to. It has just the right amount of spice, and if you end up with leftover curry rice after filling up on pancakes, it makes an amazing leftovers meal. Everything here has been consistently excellent. I think most of the negative reviews came from when they first opened, when there were lines wrapped around the block. A few years later, they've become a well-oiled machine. We didn't have to wait. The service was outstanding, and the food was as good as ever.

The best soufflé pancake I've ever had in California. It is soft and firm at the same time. Tastes amazing! The texture, the smell, the flavors are all perfect. Super cute decor. Lovely staffs. Try the sparkling drinks. They are good

Been going here ever since they opened and love their abundance amount of options. The service has always been decent, ambiance is not bad (sometimes a bit stuffy/needs more A/C), and the food is good for the value. Unfortunately the past two times I've gone they've basically overcooked/burned the chicken karaage which is one of my favorite items. Hopefully I can maybe give it another shot in the future?

I've never had Japanese souffle pancakes before so when I saw this place nearby, I figured that I would try it out. We came in around 9:30am and were seated right away. Not even 30 minutes later the whole place was packed. I ordered the Benedict Pancakes ($22) and the seasonal Biscuit souffle pancakes ($18). I also tried the Tonkatsu Curry ($16). For a drink I got the pot of Peach Momo Tea ($6). My benedict pancakes came out first. The souffle pancakes and the tonkatsu curry came out at the same time 30 minutes later. The benedicts weren't bad, but I probably wouldn't get them again. The yolk was solid and not runny and the pancakes were just normal flat pancakes, and they were kind of dry. The tonkotsu and the Japanese pancakes were way better. Both were very flavorful and nice and hot. For the tea pots you also get refills, so we got a lot to drink with that. For a two-person table, it was definitely too small to hold everything that we ordered. Luckily by the time the curry and the pancakes came out I was already finished with my benedict pancakes and was able to give it to them to clear out to make room for the other dishes. Service was good, the wait for the food was long but they were still attentive enough to get us what we needed. Once you get your food they try to get you out as quickly as possible since the longer it went the longer the wait outside was for a table. Overall it was a nice breakfast/brunch experience. It is a bit pricey, but some dishes are better than others. I would come back either for the Japanese pancakes or the curry. The tea was great too. I would probably skip the eggs benedict next time though.

Savory Japanese Monte Cristo French Toast

Enjoyed Gram Cafe with my mom for a weekday lunch. I can understand how some people say the wait is a bit long, but they appeared to be short-staffed and were always busy with a constant flow of patrons, so I definitely felt for the 2 servers manning the whole place. Anyway, onto the food: -Seafood Gyoza, not sure what kind of seafood is inside, but it was crispy and paired nicely with their ponzu dipping sauce. -Geso Fry, fried squid legs with a spicy mayo was decent...but I enjoyed the gyoza more. -Japanese Chicken Karaage Salad was HUGE, generous portion. My mom enjoyed it, and I think it's already lightly dressed, but they still gave more dressing on the side? -Savory Japanese Monte Cristo French Toast, while I didn't try this, my mom says she liked this dish very much. Served with potatoes and salad. -Taro Sago Souffle Pancakes were delicious. Light, fluffy, bouncy and *not too sweet* -- really enjoyed this! They do serve it with a tiny scoop of ice cream, that I mistook for butter/cream, lol, but it melts quickly so if you're wanting this as a dessert/finisher, I'd probably say to wait for it at the end. However, since these souffle pancakes already have 30 min. prep time or longer, I don't know if waiting for it would cause an even longer stay at the restaurant. One unisex bathroom available that was clean. Service was a little slow at times, but I understood as they were very short-staffed...I just can't imagine the flow & delay on weekends. Parking is plentiful and shared for Atlantic Times Square. Restaurant space is clean, bright and A/C worked really good.

    Lunch set
    Clara C.

Gram Cafe added a new lunch menu with the option to get 20% off the souffle pancakes. So if you order three lunch sets, you can get up to three pancakes with the discount. The unagi tamago bowl was the best tasting one. FYI the regular pancake order comes with three pancakes, but the special flavored ones only have two pancakes. This would have been helpful to know prior to sharing the meal.

Came here for the first time to try the souffle pancakes. Ordered the lunch special tonkatsu curry. It was very large and could have been shared with two people. Tasted very good. I also ordered the strawberry souffle pancake. It was amazing. Very soft and fluffy, and not too sweet. I decided to try the honeycomb latte as well and I really enjoyed it. The drink was not sweet, but had pieces of honeycomb on top which could be mixed in. Delicious! Service was very good. Will definetely come again.

Gram Café & Pancakes is Japanese food, and it is great. I have never had these type of Japanese pancakes before. They are really like a souffle. They are much taller and thicker than an American pancakes. They are wonderful. They also have a lunch menu and have great bowls. Their service is just the best. They are nice and will explain to you all you need to know about the menu. It is somewhat large so let them help you. I know they want you to be happy. The prices are fair and there is plenty of parking. The area is also very nice to walk, there are other places near and you will like it. It is great neighborhood. We love their Premium Takes 30 mins (Weekend might take up to 60 mins) Now it takes Takes 30 mins (Weekend might take up to 60 mins) so be ready for that. It is strawberry mascarpone crème anglaise garnished with fresh strawberries topped with signature 2-stacks of Premium strawberry pancake. We also love their Geso Fry Fried squid legs served with spicy mayo. It is so tasty. They also have bowls. You will love their coffee. Have fun.

Had a yummy brunch this morning. They were pretty busy so service was as good as can be given the circumstances. Food was good. We enjoyed our Wagyu burgers and French toast but the kitchen was off with their timing. We were done with the Wagyu burgers by the time the French toast came out. But it was delicious. Drinks were good and ambiance was nice. Love the decorated pillar.

Hello where we can park?thank you!!!?

It's a shopping center parking. Hope this helps!

Do I need to make reservations? And are the soufflé pancakes served all day? Thank you all in advance!

They don't take reservation but they have waitlist on yelp you can sign up for before heading over. They serve soufflé pancakes all day.

Can you order the pancakes in advance before you arrive (since they take 30-60mins)?

I don't think so but not so sure. They want to serve it freshly made. It didn't take us 30 minutes wait considering there are lots of customers. They don't even allow to go order for their hot pancakes.

When I went it was only the cold soufflés that were available to go .

This place has been on my "Need to Go" list for years and we only just had time to go check it out…read morerecently. The main reason to go here is for the macadamia nut pancakes. It's more than I expected honestly. I usually do need quite a bit of food to keep my energy up, so I didn't really look up the portion size. I ordered a large macadamia nut pancake (comes with 3) with the cream on the side and an order of spam musubi (comes with 4). Highly recommend getting the cream on the side so you can control how much you want on your pancake. It's pretty sweet so I only wanted a light layer. Originally we planned to just share the pancakes and another dish, but when it came out, everyone's jaws just dropped. It is WAY bigger than any of us really imagined. We expected a small Denny's sized pancake. Nope, the pancakes were HUGE. Even when sharing, we were only able to share one pancake and had to to-go the other two for later. It fed me for 3 meals after that. I would like to say, being in here really reminded me of Hawaii. A few other things to keep in mind for your visits. I wasn't too thrilled about the flies, as I did spend a bit of our visit trying to swat them away. So do expect to battle flies every now and then. There's also a bathroom that's outside the restaurant that you have to get a key to open with. So if you're a super clean freak, you might want to make sure you don't need the bathroom while you're here. The water is also self served. This makes it easier so I don't have to keep flagging down someone.

So we were able to kill time until then! Located next to Honey & Lavender, parking lot available in the back, not that small! Once seated, we got to order the California Benedicts and the Country Fried Steak. It actually didn't take too long for our order to arrive, which we were surprised they are very quick and efficient with service! Although, the food was very underwhelming. California Benedict was pretty basic, or just the bare minimum actually. It was okay, ingredients don't really stand out. My bf's country fried steak, he was disappointed that the steak didn't even look fried. He wasn't really a fan of his order lol. I thought the potatoes were pretty decent, although I wish they were cut smaller into like breakfast potatoes. They were so chunky, but also wish they could be fried more. Overall, I feel like we chose the wrong items from this place lol, but these were the items highlighted on the Yelp page? Maybe it didn't help that we were seated next to the kitchen or a cart full of dirty dishes bc I just kept smelling that as we were eating.

Truly had a hard time deciding which I liked better and I think it would just come down to what mood I'm in because both were so yummy. The French toast sticks were delicious as well. They were sweet with a nice crisp and came with a side of fruit. I didn't have high expectations for this dish and thought it would just be small pieces of French toast, but they had such a nice crisp to them. All three dishes I would order again. Chai latte was unfortunately watery--would not order again. Service 10/10 Friendly, fast service. It sounds like the staff get a lot of regulars. Service is fast-casual service where you order at the counter, take a number, food is brought to you, and you bus your own table. Atmosphere 9/10 The decor was very warm and vibey, cute and modern a lot of plants. A fun summer aesthetic and would be a good place to study or bring a book. Would definitely love to do brunch here with friends. Looking forward to returning!

I was not a fan of dusty dena, i couldnt really taste tge chai but irange grove was good. Very orangey. The coffee is really strong. It made my heart race like crazy. I liked the avocado toast with the crispy arugula and the tater tots. Tater tots were nice and crispy but soft on the inside. I would pass on the french toast sticks though. They were overly sweet for me but the fruits it came with were good. Surprisingly cooler than expected with the fan on and no ac on a hot day. Small parking in the back but you park on the streets. Decors are cute. There are random parrots everywhere

I also got the Ruma Latte, which was delicious--sweet & tasted like caramel in a cup. We shared the mochi pancake after seeing it recommended on TikTok! It's was good but not life changing. We went close to opening, so the atmosphere was peaceful & cozy. The staff was kind & welcoming, though we did have to ask a few times for our table to be cleared. Since the two-person tables are small, a bit more attentiveness would've made the experience even better. Overall, great food, cozy vibes, & I'd definitely come back!

Chicken was juicy. I usually don't eat chicken wings. Even after it got cold, the wings still tasted tender and not dry. Grilled Cabbage with Bagna Cauda - I do like a good cabbage dish, but the cabbage was under charred, way too greasy, & lacked acidity. After finishing the half portion of cabbage, it left an unpleasant after taste. Not a well balanced dish at all. Not my favorite dish. Maybe we should've gotten a simple salad instead. Dan Dan Campanelle - the dish came warm not hot. Good flavors and the Campanelle had a good chew, but not an exceptional dish. Hainan Fish Rice - I was so looking forward to this dish. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again lacking balance. The ginger oil is muted and purely decorative, lacking the sharp, sinus-clearing bite needed to wake up the dish. Without the bright, raw punch of ginger and chili, the dish tastes heavy and one-dimensional. I just wished there were more flavors and not just the taste of oil with each bite of fish and ginger. Good ingredients used, but just too heavy on the oil, too light on the aromatics. We didn't fully enjoy our meal as much as we would've liked. We might come back and try the brunch some day.

Knowing what I know now as I write this review, we would return & bring friends here. It's about 78 to 80°F on a Friday a few minutes before 1 pm, surprisingly, it was low key--only a couple tables taken indoors by patrons and a set of guys on the patio. At the door, it said to seat ourselves & I immediately shot to the patio. The set up: once seated, the server comes with menus, you order & it's a sit down meal. Giselle was our friendly & attentive server, young & attentive. Hubby ordered the breakfast burrito ($11.50) & I opted for build your own omelette $11.50 for a 3 egg omelette & choice of two items- mushroom and bell peppers accompanied with breakfast potatoes, and chilaquiles ($13.99) to share. The patio seating is fresh, airy, there are tables, outdoor furnitures (sofas) and bright orange umbrellas for shade. My photos captured these elements. The food arrived shortly, although not all at once. I didn't mind it all because the ambiance was so soothing with the sound of birds chirping away and the background of other patrons talking. The only complaint from Hubby was too many pototo chunks in his burrito. My omelette was hot, fresh ingredients, delectable & the potatoes were mixed with 3 colors of bellpeppers. Oh and the chilaquiles? Pretty darn good! The tortilla chips were crispy, perfect amount of green salsa, freshly diced onions & a sprinkling of cotija cheese. Was I famished or was it that good that I devoured everything? What's left was Hubby's potato chunk discards. Giselle returned a few times to ensure our experience is to our satisfaction & another staff also stopped by to check on us. Such a perfect meal & day-- I'm so happy with this visit.
