New Korean plate lunch restaurant in ewa beach, opened in the spot that was formerly Elims. It's nice to have a Korean restaurant here other than Pearls. The interior is updated and clean. Service was good, what you would expect from any Korean spot. We ordered 1 plate of meat jun and chicken katsu to share. Portions are very generous. Everything was delicious; the chicken katsu was still crispy but the time we got home. However the mandoo filling was a little on the mushy side. They have the usual sides: kimchi, Mac salad, Japchae, etc. the kimchi tasted pretty fresh.

I'm always down to try new places and Miss Kimchi did not disappoint! The owner is hilarious and the worker up front was so friendly and kind. The food was flavorful and I appreciated how the kalbi was cut so I don't look like a complete animal eating in public. The veggies were all fresh and the kimchi from these types of places usually tastes sour to me. Not here. It was so good I ordered a small container of kimchi to go. Will definitely be back! Very clean restaurant. Updated interior and lots of parking.

Kalbi /meat Jun

Familiar fare you find at most take out Korean bbq places, I had the kalbi/meat jun mix. The kalbi flavor was balanced, cooked perfectly and tasted very good. My portion of meat Jun was just ok due to being slightly over battered and a bit soggy, both accompanying sauces were very well balanced tho and tasted better than most pick your sides places. Speaking of sides Kimchi and kimchi cucumber tasted ono. Service was friendly and professional. Place is clean, and located next to Shiro's in Ewa Beach. Give this place a try if you in that area and craving Korean bbq.

Mama's Special

Superb and humorous customer service from the friendly lady. We're informed there are no preservatives used in Mama's Special. One of their popular items marked with an asterisk offering two scoops of rice, kalbi, meat jun, bbq chicken, plus four choices of veggies. Loved their marination that produced flavorful, succulent kalbi. Tasty egg batter stayed intact with fabulous meat jun. Tender bbq chicken. Equally yummy from chop chae, potato salad, pickled seaweed, and bean sprouts. Massive plate served heat hot, loaded with generous and tasty portions. Newly renovated interior. Choice of dine in or to go. 3% surcharge applied to cards. Free parking in Ewa Beach Shopping Center.

Around 11 am we came to eat here for the first time on July 21, 2026. The ladies working there are awesome and funny. Love talking stories with them. I ordered a regular meat jun and my other half got their regular fish jun. Each regular plate has 4 sides for veggies. I got potatoes with mayo, choy sum or bok choy, bean sprouts and cucumber kim chi. My other half got seaweed, regular kim chi, potatoes with mayo and tofu. Food was so amazing and tasty. The portions are huge. What an amazing place to dine in. Such friendly staffs and delicious foods. The dinning area is very nice and it wasn't busy till after we ordered, more people arrived to order and dine in. We will definitely be coming back again.

This is my go-to spot for an after-work snack whenever I can squeeze it into my busy schedule…read more Almost all of the staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Yesterday, I called ahead to order frozen manapua to take with me on a flight. Before heading over, I tried calling twice to confirm that the order needed to be frozen for travel, but the calls went unanswered. I understand they are a popular spot and get extremely busy, but unfortunately, this led to a miscommunication and my order wasn't ready when I arrived. After initially receiving the wrong items, I went out to my car and tried calling again to sort it out. A staff member answered, and when I tried to explain the situation, she gave me a bit of attitude, saying, "Well, we don't pick up when we're busy." Ironically, that lack of communication is what caused the mix-up in the first place. She then cut me off mid-sentence to get a manager. This could have been a major stressor right before a trip, but the way the rest of the team handled it was fantastic. They were highly respectful, apologized profusely, and worked quickly to help me out. Despite that one frustrating phone interaction, the overall customer service in fixing the issue actually made me appreciate this location even more.

On the right side you stand behind a line far from the food till it's your turn to choose what you want. That's a lil rough not being able to see all your choices til your turn, when there's always a line of people waiting. But there's so many different kinds of noodles & rice. Then you got your meats and veggies. They give really big portions so for that its worth it once in awhile. 1 plate can last me 2 meals! Sadly I dont love their food, everything taste very oily but its decent., especially for how much you get. Many pickup manapua, pork hash, rice cake, etc for gifting or gatherings. There's a large seating area up the few stairs after the cashier & they can host events there. Staff is quick and efficient. Its always clean when I go and there's always a line at this popular eatery.

Outstanding Food, Vibes, and Live Music!…read more Had an amazing dinner experience at Mahi'ai Table last night with two friends! We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. The noise level was perfectly moderate, letting us enjoy both the live music and our own conversation. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

Which was worth it! It came with: -any fried or any fried noodles -any ramen (which came in an XL bowl) -5 choices of selected item that were listed on menu WE WERE SURPRISED with our order!!! We made the right choice to try the family combo this time around! We ordered: shrimp fried rice, char sui ramen, which the bowl was so HUGE! We wanted a huge bowl like that to take home hahaha The 5 choices we made were- chicken katsu, mochiko chicken, fried chicken, shrimp shumai, and gyoza. Our table was full, but made all our tummy's full and soooo satisfied even if we still had some food to take home. I forgot to take a picture and we were starting to eat so it was missing a shumai and missing the fried chicken photo. Also, they have a complimentary salad and I forgot to take a picture of that too. I wanted to take a picture of everything together, but hard when you got your whole family and they already hungry hahahaha ALL the staff are always welcoming and sooooo nice! I like that they interact with our children even tho our children can be a handful. Their service is always quick and the food always comes out correct and hot! Most of the time they give a complimentary side order of mochi balls and give the kids these blow up flower thingys. Haha Besides things on the sides as storage for big orders like boxes, the place is well kept clean as far as tables and floors. I never seem to have a problem. That place gives our family a feel at home vibe! It's our Go To Ramen spot, so of course we will definitely visit them soon!
