Awesome pho! Ordered the vegetable dumplings, Vietnamese egg rolls (so good; great pork and seafood flavor), the Special Beef Noodle Soup, and the Pho Ga (chicken). Gave us the traditional bag of bean sprouts, thai basil, lime, jalapeño, and hoisin sauce - if you like spicy sauce I recommend adding a little by the side table next to the pickup counter. Saigon pho recently opened back up for takeout & I knew I had to get some pho to satisfy my craving! I've been to this place a few times back a few years ago, and the pho is still as delicious & flavorful. We ordered the Special Beef Noodle Soup and as soon as we brought the takeout back to the care, the aroma of the broth was strong and you could smell all the spices. They packaged the broth and noodles separately and we dug in as soon as we could. I recommend heating up the broth in the microwave before pouring it over the noodles to give you that piping hot bowl! It comes with your typical toppings (bean sprouts, basil, lime & jalapeños). The price for our two bowls came out to be ~$25. It filled us both up & left us satisfied. Overall, highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the mood for pho; I hope to come back and try their other dishes! read more

Due to COVID the restaurant is offering pick up and delivery only, no dine in. I hadn't been in a while and was craving some pho but I was worried about the over all experience because I loved to add all of the sauces and mix ins when eating in and i wasn't sure if they would provide them with to go orders. I ordered for pick up expecting cold broth I had to microwave but it came hot. All mix ins included. Needless to say the experience exceeded expectations. The food here is fantastic! The only reason this place isn't getting five stars is because the service is absolutely awful. We had the summer spring rolls as an appetizer and were really impressed with the peanut sauce they were served with. It was fresh, rich, and topped with crushed peanuts. Really good! I had the chicken pho (made spicy), and my other half had the spicy beef soup. Both were fantastic. The pho had great depth of flavor, nice amount of spice, and it was served with a very generous portion of accompaniments. I usually will ask for double the toppings and didn't have to here. The spicy beef soup was very good and had a kick, although it was not as rich as the pho. From a service perspective, we were greeted promptly and provided menus, but then waited almost half and hour for someone to take our order. The place was empty, and staff was visible, so there really was no reason for that long of a wait. The food service wasn't as bad, although we were never asked if everything was ok, and gave up on waiting for a check at the end of our meal, and just left our table and went to the counter. If this place could step up their service just a little bit, it would easily be five stars every time! read more

So I went back. And this time, it was pretty darned super. Fast, friendly, and I think I may have had my Pho epiphany. At least, the vegetarian Pho I was served was so darned good that I almost consumed the entire bowl (has anyone else mentioned that a bowl of Pho is a freaking ridiculous amount of food?!?) This is a gem. My husband loves different kinds of Asian cuisines, this one being one of his favorites! This restaurant does not disappoint! Our daughter who can be a picky eater loves the food from here as well. Our favorite dishes so far are their dumplings, veggie spring roll, my husband is obsessed with their veggie egg noodle dish, I'm obsessed with their steamed chicken with ginger. Came here for a quick lunch for the first time. 2 of us we ordered special Vietnamese egg roll, Banh Xeo - Vietnamese golden crepe, Bun Thit Nuong - grilled pork served over vermicelli and Bun Bo Hue - Spicy beef noodle soup. I must said all dishes we ordered is actually pretty good. Especially the spicy beef noodle soup, we only order a mild spicy since it's our first time trying. The clean broth is so tasty with a hint of spicy, it's just so good. We couldn't finish the big bowl of noodle so we took it home and surprisingly the broth taste even better the next day. The golden crepe still good next day after I toasted it a little to give the crepe the crispness again. Good place to go back to again. read more

Saigon Pho is EXACTLY what I needed. I was having one of those days where I could eat the entire refrigerator if I wanted to and I just happened to drive by Saigon Pho. Having eaten pho before in Boston I figured I would swing in and give it a try. First of all, the staff was incredibly attentive and nice. The owner came over and was more than happen to walk us through the elaborate process that it took to make this special beef noodle soup (pho). Second, the food was impeccable. The perfect amount of sweet and heat with that subtle savory kick that makes you want to finish the whole bowl. Lastly, the portion size for the price of the food is something you wont get anywhere else in the tri-city area. We'd been craving some good Vietnamese food and so glad to have found Saigon Pho through yelp - especially these days. Ordered online and the food was ready and waiting by the time we arrived. Really well prepared for social distancing, you stand in the vestibule and ring the bell. Someone comes to the door wearing a mask and gloves and passes you your food. Pay right there while you're between a plastic divider and boom, done in 2 minutes. Most importantly, the food was delicious! This was an excellent find, the Pho was delicious (Beef Brisket & Beef Tendon ordered). We also had the Beef Salad to start, that in itself was very refreshing as you use the Shrimp Chips as like edible serving platters. There was a lot more beef than we expected (very nice) and the seasonings were perfect to make this a great appetizer. I was so full that I ended up not ordering a Bahn Mi Sandwich with Summer Rolls for an evening snack. And too bad I have a busy day tomorrow where I wouldn't be able to savor them. Updating again as I have been going here for years and really loved this place. I went in one night for my usual brisket pho to go, just the soup, nothing extra. Checked my bank account the next day to see that there was an extra $5 added to the charge that I did not authorize. Never leave the tip line blank, as I think that may be what happened. Called the next day and the owner offered to give me $5 back on the next pho but couldn't explain the extra charge. He said they do not keep their credit card receipts.. It was nice to offer but unfortunately I can't return to somewhere that stole $ from me. read more

If you're looking for Vietnamese pho noodle soup this is the perfect spot. The fried calamari starter is also one if the best I've had. Shrimp summer rolls are very good too. Sometimes I grab a banh mi sandwich to go for the next day. Causal. Reasonably priced. Vietnamese family owned. My family has been coming here for dinner 2-3 a year for more than 5 years. The broth was so salty, it was almost inedible. And when we asked the (amateur) waitress what brands of beer they had, she said she didn't know and suggested we walk over to the cooler to see!! Hmmm?? I gave it two stars because the dumplings and summer rolls were just as good as before. But the pho, in addition to it being way too salty, I felt was skimpy on ingredients. Service and food was ok, not so friendly and a little overpriced for what it offers. Smallest Bahn Mi for much more than I normally pay for, miniature size for $11! Pho beef was good, soup was fine. We added tendon to our pho and that was $4 for a total of 3 pieces! Two pork dishes and both were fatty. Will have to try others in the neighborhood before returning. read more
