You make your choices at the counter and then take the food to a covered seating area. (Good thing it's covered since it was pouring) I'll start by mentioning that every staff member we encountered was awesome, they all seemed into what they were doing and delivered a great experience. I was also impressed by the operation. They had everything you would need displayed in the seating area. Sauces, utensils, napkins, to go containers, and bags. No need to awkwardly look for anything. Hard to get this far into a review without mentioning the outstanding food. It's some of the best BBQ I've had! We went with the professional platter and added burnt ends. I enjoyed each and every item but the standout to me was the brisket, I've never had a juicier more tender piece of brisket in my life! Ribs were done really well also, the burnt ends had tons of flavor, the sausage was delicious, and the pulled pork and chicken were winners as well. The chicken nuggets I got for my daughter were the best. They were so tasty. The side of corn pudding was also excellent. The shack we sat in was really hot since there was no AC, just a normal fan was blowing air. It was self service so we got the utensils, soda and water. They had ketchup, vinegar, mustard, bbq and white sauces available in the condiment area. Overall it was a decent spot but bbq meat fell short in taste for me.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it's such a great neighborhood spot. It made for the perfect stop during a beautiful evening walk.
