    Crispy Spicy Salmon Maki
    Thomas T.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the water. The interior has very nice small decorative details with an aquatic theme. The parking lot is small and there's another parking lot under the bridge. The staff are great and accommodating. The crispy salmon Maki has a satisfying crunch with a flavorful spicy mayo. The fried fish sandwich came with a huge piece of fish with a healthy amount of toppings. The fries itself are amazing with great seasoning and cooked very well. Overall a great experience.

My sister lives a 2 min walk from Mission Boathouse. She and her husband love their brunch and said I have to give it a try. The waterfront restaurant is located at the Beverly Pier. Very cute and bright upon entry. We walked over but there is a small lot in the front that could fit about 20ish cars. We took the elevator up to the host stand. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. We opted for the high top seats. The server came over greeted us and gave us time to look at the menu. We decided to do the bottomless brunch which is $19.99 per person (price as of 2025). We also got a bottle of champagne for $25 with small carafes of pineapple , cranberry and orange juice. The server said the champagne comes with one juice and there is an additional charge for the the other juices. My sister explained that she had never been charged for the additional juices. I think the server was trying to explain that moving forward they charge but given my sisters obvious disappointment she didn't charge us extra. For the bottomless brunch you can order up to 3 items at a time and they are delivered to the table à la carte . They also brought out home fries and foccacia for the table to share. I had the cheesy scrambled eggs, bread pudding, beef taco, fish taco ,peri peri wings, meatball parm and jalepeno cornbread. They bring out the food so fast. The portions are on the small side to help prevent waste but I enjoyed that. Three rounds and the mimosas and I was stuffed. The fish tacos were the best. I had two of them. The beef taco was tasty as well, just a tad bit too juicy for my liking. The eggs were not good at all. Even with adding salt and pepper. Whenever I get something with cheese if the cheese isn't melted I don't want it. The mozzarella cheese. sprinkled on top made me feel like the eggs werent hot. I don't even like jalenpenos but that cornbread was so flavorful and not spicy like I initially anticipated. Heavy on the jalepneo flavor but tasty nonetheless. I didn't realize peri peri sauce had a kick to it. But it was flavorful and the wings were crispy and cooked to my liking. Because two of us orders the meatball they put both in a bowl. I didn't care for the amount of sauce in the bowl and found the meatball to be flavorless. The bread pudding was decent. Overall a solid experience. The price is right, customer service good and the ambiance is very welcoming and comfy. I would definitely return.

Stopped here on a whim on our drive up to Bar Harbor. Atmosphere was great, for a 3pm lunch anyway. We got the Tuna Tartare, a spicy crunchy salmon maki roll, and a Boston maki roll. The tuna tartare is a must! I loved the spicy roll, I'm personally not a fan of cream cheese in a sushi roll but my husband loved the Boston roll. Our server was friendly and helpful, and everything came out quickly with lovely presentation.

i've dined at mission boathouse enough times now to have more experiences to share. it has comfortable seating, whether in the main deck bar, dining, or the top floor, which all have different menus. my favorite orders are the oysters, short rib empanadas, shrimp pizza, mushroom pizza & rib-eye. the last time i visited, we started with a bottle of saratoga but then our second bottle was clear. when asked, our server said the second bottle is always refilled "filtered" tap water, while i scanned the room and every other table had a blue saratoga bottle. i definitely felt offended that they didn't automatically provide or ask what type of water we wanted, when i indicated still in the beginning. seriously rude. i forgot the servers name but she claimed they always do that, when i had never experienced that before nor did i see anyone else with a clear bottle. the food is good, at times excellent, but this service faux pas really bothered me and i haven't been back. service has been great every other time. ambiance: 5/5 food: 4.5/5 drinks: 4/5 service: 2/5 mission boathouse: 3/5 (based on last visit)

My best friend and I had a wonderful time here. The bartender's service was wonderful, and we are upset we didn't catch a name. Working in the industry - we love to become regulars of other servers + bartenders! We got 20 oysters to split and they were massive and delicious. The view, although a gloomy day outside, was so beautiful. It's a great location and our bar seats looked out onto the water :)

This place is busy. Here for dinner as we visit the North Shore. Bayfront dining with Martinis & seafood! We had an excellent dinner with superb service, good seating, excellent appetizers, and fine main dishes. Beverly, be proud of this establishment!

To be fair I only went for a drink and appetizer. I will return to explore their dinner options. That said, went there mid day, sat outside loved the view of the ocean and boats very family oriented. Our waiter (Jack) was super attentive, welcoming and professional. Their oysters were fresh and delicious. The Margaritas and Mojito was a bit of a let down as it tasted more like sugary syrup and little to almost no alcohol for the price. Their rum punch was delicious. I'm not sure if it's because we were seated outside, but we weren't a fan of the acrylic cups . I will stop by again to have a meal and another review.

Came here on a Friday night and was able to get a table overlooking the harbor. Theres a platform that's right on the harbor that they open in the summer so that you're sitting right by the water and the boats while dining. We got some wine, 2 orders of sushi and rib eye tacos that came with a side of yuca chips. The rosé was alright. The food was really good, especially the rib eye tacos and the yuca chips. Our waitress was friendly and sweet. Overall it was a good meal at a good price and I'm definitely interested in seeing what it's like in the summer.

We were looking for a place for lunch when my wife suggested Mission Boathouse which I had heard of but never tried. We came mid-afternoon Memorial Day (Monday). Seated promptly and enjoyed a wine and Amalfi Spritz while we waited. The room is beautiful and boats at moorings in Beverly Harbor on a bright warm day added to our enjoyment. The food was excellent too : fish tacos and baked haddock. Our waitress Fadima K was awesome too. We're glad we (she) found this gem and promise to come back.

Just sat at the bar. Main Deck!

Danversport = rockstar status!…read more We had our wedding at Danversport, Friday August 20, 2021. When we first started looking at venue's in the North Shore area of Boston, we were somewhat disappointed until we visited Danversport! Immediately, we knew we found our venue. As a same sex couple, finding a diverse, all-inclusive group to work with was top on our list. In August 2020, we stopped by Danversport without an appointment; called before going in and Ron was very welcoming. He dropped what he was doing to meet with us and give us a tour, complete with a full packet of information to review. The very next day, we put a deposit on our wedding date for a Gazebo Ceremony and Lighthouse Point room for 54 guests. We were thrilled and could not wait to get the planning going! Throughout the entire process, we were pleased with each interaction. The taste-testing was phenomenal! There were samples of every item on the menu; including wine, and other bar beverages. The food is ridiculously delicious. When the day came for our rehearsal, we were slightly unprepared as we forgot an important folder of information at our hotel. Sean was assigned to be our wedding coordinator. Not only did Sean help to calm me down, she was patient, direct and supportive beyond our imagination. She knew exactly what we needed to prepare for the following day and managed our wedding party through that process with ease and professionalism. The day of our wedding, we were at peace knowing we had the best Event Coordinator at Danversport! Not one detail was missed; everything went off exactly as Sean planned with us during the rehearsal. At one point during the evening, our server, Mark was fanning our Officiant as she was sweating in the heat!! This screamed volumes to us that we were all being pampered to the nines! Our guests are still talking about our wedding and have shared many compliments. Of course nothing is perfect, right?! However, once again Sean ceased to amaze us. My ballgown started to fall apart due to poor seamstress work. After the bustle broke three times, Sean came to the rescue and hooked us up...LITERALLY! Through many laughs we made the best of it. It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Danversport for special events! The team at Danversport are all dedicated people who truly care. Ron was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even to this day when we visit for Party on the Patio, Ron and his team stop to say hello and welcome us. Genuine. Real. Humble. In closing comments, we will share that we were shocked that we could manage to fit Danversport into our budget. The all-inclusive package is what made our dream wedding possible and for that we are thankful to the moon and back. Thank you Sean, Mark, Ron, Nancy, Katelyn, Lauren, Heather and the entire team at Danversport!! Sonia and Lisa Touchette

We recently went for my sister's birthday while I was in town. The building is starting to look a bit rundown (note the missing windows above the main entrance) and there is quite a bit of staining on the ceiling, apparently from water leaks. The wait staff was great, and we all like the salad bar and the bread and cheese that you cut yourself. The entrees, however, were disappointing. The meat on three of our four orders was overcooked (my nephew's medium rare steak was burned and charred on the outside), and three of the four sides (steamed vegetables and rice) were served ice cold. I ordered the baked scallop and steak combo and the scallops were delicious, but my medium steak was well done, and my vegetables were cold. By the time they brought out replacement vegetables and rice, we were already almost halfway through our meals. I used to love coming here when I was younger when the wait staff dressed in overalls and hats like train engineers. This place definitely needs a makeover to get it back to the fine dining experience it used to be.

She and much of my family really like this place and rave about it, but my overall first impression was definitely a mixed bag. My mom made the reservation for Saturday at 4:45pm in the dining room. We arrived a little early, so she showed me around the beautifully renovated building. When we checked in with someone, they redirected us to the bar area downstairs as they were holding a private event in the main dining area. Okay, not a big deal to us. However I could understand if someone else might get a little annoyed at being told they had to go to the bar area when they specifically asked for the dining room on their reservation. I have to say that I do love the downstairs bar area, it's classy and has a vintage speakeasy vibe. We were quickly greeted by one of the guys working the bar who was super nice and did a great job. For a drink I started with their version of an espresso martini, which was a good start to the food experience and gave me high hopes. They brought us out some popovers which to me were just okay. For an appetizer we got some buffalo chicken dip, which was quite delicious. For dinner my mom got a Caesar salad (which I tried a little bit of and thought was good) and a flatbread pizza that was on special. I decided to be a little bougie and went with the braised short ribs, and I regret to say that the dish fell flat for me. The short rib did come apart okay when I stuck my fork in it, but it was kind of chewy, bland and overall really didn't have much flavor. The menu also states that the short rib is served with broccolini (which is a milder, sweeter version of the green vegetable) but it came with regular plain broccoli instead, which I was also quite honestly disappointed by. With all that being said the polenta was my favorite thing on the plate. I'm a little conflicted. The place is beautiful and the staff is so nice. But with how much it was hyped up to me, I was a little let down. I'm kind of thinking that I should've went with another dish? I really want to truly love this place, so I'm sure I'll be back with family at some point to give them another chance.
