I wanted to reach out regarding your new driver serving the Copper Canyon subdivision. Unfortunately, the level of service has been very disappointing compared with the driver you had previously. Your previous driver was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and made an effort to actually drive through the neighborhood. We got to know him as our "ice cream guy," and we regularly spent $50-$60 at a time, including purchasing sandwiches. He always made sure the sandwiches were thick, properly made, and not broken. He provided the kind of customer service that made us look forward to seeing him. The new driver has been the complete opposite. He is slow, isn't particularly friendly, and doesn't appear to drive through the subdivision. Instead, he seems to capitalize on the fixed crowd at the Friday event, where he parks in a way that blocks part of the parking lot, rather than actually serving the neighborhood. I've also noticed that the portions seem considerably smaller. The cups aren't being filled as they were previously, and the overall experience has become disappointing. The biggest issue happened tonight. At approximately 8:15 PM, after the larger crowd had already left, I brought my daughter up to get some ice cream. The driver simply told us, "Nope, I'm done for the night." Your previous driver would never have turned away a customer who came up during the event's operating hours. I understand that drivers have schedules and eventually need to finish for the night. However, if the truck is still at the event and customers are still there wanting to purchase ice cream, simply refusing to serve them--especially when the driver isn't actively driving through the neighborhood--is extremely poor customer service. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, but I wanted to make management aware because this driver is having a noticeable impact on our experience. We went from regularly spending $50-$60 with your previous driver to being very disappointed with the service we're receiving now. The previous driver was friendly, generous with portions, took pride in his work, and built relationships with the neighborhood. This new driver is unfortunately doing none of those things. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and either speak with the driver about the concerns or consider assigning someone who is a better fit for the Copper Canyon neighborhood. We really enjoy having the ice cream truck come through, and we'd like to continue supporting the business--but the current level of service makes that difficult. read more

I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!! I was in the office at my house when I heard the familiar sound of the ice cream truck and I yelled to the wife "ice cream truck!!!"
