Gosh, I really wanted to love this restaurant but I had a pretty average experience. So we walked in on a Sunday afternoon looking to indulge in the boozy brunch. We were put on the waitlist and was told we would have to wait about 45 minutes but it was more like an hour. Not horrible but still a wait. Any who we were seated towards the front of the restaurant and that was not comfortable at all. There was a cold draft coming in from the door being opened and closed so I would opt for sitting in back if you're going on a chilly day. Our waiter came and took our orders. My friend did the $25 boozy brunch which has fewer drink selections than the $30 boozy brunch option. For my brunch entree I ordered steak & eggs and my friends ordered chicken & waffles & fish tacos that came with beans, rice & sweet plantains. My food was okay, the eggs were good but my steak was kinda tough to get through although it was seasoned well. The potatoes were just okay as well, but my friend loved them. As for the chicken & waffles, it was okay but what I will say is that the hot honey sauce that came with it was amazing. I wish they sold it in a bottle to go home with. My other friend enjoyed her fish taco dish so there's 1 win. We decided to get a dessert because we all have a sweet tooth and I'm so glad we did because it was the best part of the meal. The tres leches cake was great-so creamy and delicious. Unfortunately I was not able to partake in the boozy brunch so my friend had to enjoy for everyone. There were so many different flavors of mimosas so she wanted to try them out but our waiter just kept bringing over mimosas without even asking if she wanted the same thing or something else. That was kinda annoying to me. He was also MIA for most of our time here maybe because we were sitting in the front. Came here on a strangely warm Saturday during January. I love each and every thing I ordered. Make sure you get the VIP boozy brunch! Those sangritas are sooo good. Loved the red and coconut sangrita. We ordered the honey jerk wings. They were spicy but when I say I would go back to Brooklyn just for this, I mean it! They were very tasty. I also ordered tacos and a burrito which were very tasteful as well! I will definitely be going back to this restaurant for brunch. It also wasn't too packed. I was shocked I found parking in this area so quick but maybe I got lucky. We kept taking about these sangritas days after we went that's how you know it was good! read more

Came here due to the great reviews however was really disappointed upon tasting the food. The nachos were soggy and drenched in sour cream with a spoonful of guac. The tacos were okay but the steak tacos were also drenched in sauce with barely pieces of steak. I noticed that gratuity was included which is fine, however they don't let you know. I've never really liked tacos until Miti Miti. Last night was my second time here and the tacos are consistently good. It was also my second time being served by Saretta who is absolutely fantastic and remembered us! She kept our spirits high, our tummies full and, liquored us up the whole night! What more can you ask for? Even though she had to leave for the night and we paid up, she insisted that it was ok that we take our time to finish our drinks. The runners kept taking away my groups' pitcher of water and I had to constantly ask for water back. Personally, I feel that there's not enough space per person but, it is good for groups. This is a cute and lively Latin cuisine restaurant for brunch, but my improperly cooked and seasoned meal let me down. I ordered the Poblano Hollandaise Eggs Benedict with a Crab Cake. My eggs were overcooked, a huge no-no when poaching eggs, so my dish ate dry without a runny yoke. Everything needed salt and hot sauce, which was not provided at the table. I couldn't tell if they made the crab cake in-house because the breading looked like it came out of a frozen meal box, but it had no flavor, regardless. My friend got the burrito with chorizo, and she was slightly disappointed that they did not take the chorizo out of the casing. The most appetizing things I consumed were the frozen sangrita and the chips and guacamole, but based on how small the glass of sangrita and dish of guacamole was, I can tell this is a restaurant that purposely gives small portions so that customers are forced to pay for more. They also add a 20% gratuity to ALL PARTIES. I'm hoping the gratuity is going to the servers and not to pay for the Park Slope rent. Overall I'm left feeling let down by my experience at Miti Miti. I paid over $100 for a lousy dish, but my friend and I enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. This is a cute and fun spot for Mexican food! I came here with a friend before seeing a show at the Barclay Center. It was only a few blocks away and we were seated immediately. Our server (I unfortunately can't remember her name!) was super friendly and attentive. The service was quick and efficient. I ordered a margarita on the rocks. It tasted great and very fresh! For an appetizer, we split the lobster guacamole. The lobster sits on top of the guacamole which adds to the presentation of the dish. This was truly the standout of the meal. It was amazing! I would come back just for this! For my entree, I wasn't super hungry so I had the corn, mushroom, and zucchini blossom quesadilla. It was delicious and had a nice char on the outside. It came with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. I wish it would have also come with guac. Next time, I would ask for a small side of it. This is a great Mexican restaurant with a fun vibe. My review is about the service more than the food. When I first arrived, I was ignored by two people in the front that were concerned about a check than saying, "hello, give us a moment and we will seat you." They looked at me and continued doing what they were doing. It's ok to be busy when customers arrive, but it's not ok to blatantly ignore them after looking them in the eyes. Secondly, it took forever to get drinks and water, mind you, they were not that busy. Third, appetizers and food arrived at the same time, so I had to eat at fast as I could to prevent soggy cold tacos. Forth, they have the audacity to automatically add a 20% gratuity for one person. We came in with a group of 9 people and were promptly seated at the time of our reservation. Make a reservation for a big group. This review is for their catering. Elena (catering manager) was wonderful to work with: quick to respond and answer questions/make suggestions. Payment was easy. I also love that the menus clearly denote options for vegan/vegetarian/gluten free. Had I an elevator, delivery would have been a breeze. Marcos (delivery) had everything packed away nicely in a rolling cabinet. I was ready with people from our party to bring everything upstairs (4 flights! I don't ask that delivery people make that trek). Marcos was on time even with traffic (Saturday evening Brooklyn traffic ). On to the food (everything was served hot & ready to eat): I'd say there were three top hits: the wild mushroom croquetas were the bomb. Everyone loved them. I should have ordered more of them and I definitely will next time. Second to that was the guacamole, had a bit of a kick and was quite addictive. Miti Miti sent these in reusable heavy duty plastic take-out containers with well fitting lids. The accompanying chips were tasty as well. Third top pick was the tray of cauliflower (roasted, with tahini & pomegranate molasses). Heavenly. Thankfully I had leftovers of this. Omg even cold it's delicious. Nutty and ever so slightly sweet. We also ordered Green Goddess Tacos & Carne Asada Tacos. Who'm I kidding, everything was fabulous; now I'm remembering people asking where the carne asada was from and asking for the name of the restaurant. All the taco toppings and tortillas were on the side. It was build-your-own & enjoy! I've never been to the actual restaurant; it's always crowded when I pass by but it's part of the Bogota (Bogota Latin Bistro) group (which also is wonderful for delivery, and sit down for meals) so I totally trusted that my experience would be good. My boyfriend and I came a little toward the end of brunch but our server Ayana made sure we would be taken care of.
