Cute place in Pomona! It's located next to Smart and Final. There are both indoor and outdoor patio seating. You order at the kiosk and seat yourselves. I ordered the beef Zaza, Doner plate, Turkish coffee and walnut pastry. All were delicious! The Zaza had a good amount of pickled vegetables and saltiness. The meat on the doner plate was well seasoned and balanced with the spinach yogurt. The walnut pastry was crispy and perfect with the coffee. Not too sweet at all! They are understaffed so I recommend not arriving hungry.

I have been on a Döner kick lately and found Mito's on Yelp and wanted to try. I actually came here twice before to get doner and they ran out. So, I would definitely try to get there early or call before if you are looking for doner. The restaurant is located inside a strip mall and there's plenty of seating inside. I went for the doner and chicken kebab. The kebabs are freshly grilled outside. The doner was pretty good, the meat was tasty. They only have the beef/lamb mix, I really wish they had a chicken option also. The chicken kebab really surprised me. The chicken kebab was juicy and tender. Making it fresh outdoor definitely made a difference. I would definitely come back here to get both again.

As a lover of Mediterranean Cuisine, I've had Mito's Doner in Pomona firmly circled on my "must try" list ever since I first heard of them a coupla yrs ago. Their inspiring origin story, proprietors Chef Mito and his wife Jennifer first flung their doors open for business in May, 2020...when the entire world was enfeebled by the Covid-19 virus, is reason enough. Come for the story...and if you're like me, you'll find yourselves enchanted by the opulent appointments like comfy, cozy couches/recliners, capacious/airy seating and charming section devoted to in-house made pastries. I was mid-shift and needed to choose my order carefully- Needed my choices to withstand a 2-3 hrs wait in my vehicle's insulated carrier while I finished ferrying orders to my customers. So your favorite Yelp correspondent opted for Mito's Beef Zaza, which features well seasoned, minced beef topped with onions, tomatoes and cabbage. I asked them to withhold the pickles. To chase my meal down, I ordered künefe, a decadent Turkish delight comprised of whisker-thin strands of kadayif/phyllo commingled with lots of melted butter and pullable strands of cheese, topped with a simple sugar syrup. Pro Tip #1- Go crazy, folks!!! Order their delectable desserts/pastries with (confident) abandon- Head Chef Mito trained/worked as a pastry chef before launching this restaurant, his love letter to Turkiye. Pro Tip #2- You should probably defer ordering their fountain drinks. Your correspondent, a Diet Coke fiend of the highest order, made the mistake of ordering one. Not only are the cups small, around 12 ounces, but the Diet Coke dispensed from the fountain during my visit produced a distinctively faint after taste of rose water or simple syrup. If I could've had those $3 back...Sigh. Otherwise, I loved my visit! The staff are friendly, warm, the food is well made, tasty and there's so much more to try and experience on subsequent visits! Definitely will hafta bring my wife -a gorgeous Michoacana girl who subsists primarily on Mexican and Mediterranean fare- here!

Stopped here on the way to the desert. We were very satisfied with our dinner. We both had a chicken plate and shared the pide. It was so much food! We had plenty of leftovers. Chicken was flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy and babaganoush was creamy. The cucumber yogurt dip was refreshing. We also enjoyed their delicious tea, coffee, and baklava. Would love to stop by again.

100000/10 recommend Mito's if you want authentic Turkish food! The food is amazing! Very fresh and delicious food taste just like straight from Turkey! The Turkish delights are amazing, so many different flavors and so fresh! I love that the Turkish delights come from Turkey! The coffee is made in a traditional Turkish way! And the coffee is also from Turkey! The Kunufeh is also very very delicious! 100000/10 recommend Mito's if you want authentic Turkish food!

The food is definitely on a lovely barbecue Char level with Amazing seasoning that just Waters the pallet. I got the mix plate thing and the chicken was on point it was very tender and seasoned exceptionally well establishing a strong umami profile along with the two different types of beef they were amazing. The only thing that was maybe a little different for me was how the sides were presented and how you would choose one kind of like cafeteria style. Other than that though the food itself is a 10 out of 10 I'm enjoying every bite! The music is also pretty good it's got some digital beads with kind of a desert vibe and the service was decent everyone was nice and prompt. The only thing that I would have an issue with is the pricing it's up there in my book as I tend to always aim for $30 or lower and it was $35 for one large mixed plate. On the bright side at least the flavor does not disappoint! Originally I came here for the wrap as I was told they were amazing by a local but I wanted to try the assortment of meats.

This is it for 2026! If you're determined to loose weight yet eat delicious then hurry up & get here. They have an amazing menu with all the different options of foods to help you on your journey & full fill your New Year's resolutions of healthy eating choices. If you don't know Turkish dishes it's okay because the staff is knowledgeable & patiently pleasantly when answering your questions on different options & explaining your choices of meats & veggies. It's a small front restaurant with big seating options & a clean cool comfortable patio if you decide to eat outdoors. It's definitely on my "make healthier choices" when eating out, no more excuses! Nice little spot that's kind of hidden. I got the plate with beef shish, rice pilaf, beet salad and garlic sauce. Portion was decent and nicely presented. The beef shish was good, but I tasted my coworkers chicken shish and I will get that one next time. Both the chicken and beef shish were soft and not dry. Beet salad and rice pilaf were also tasty. Staff were really nice and they explained the menu and the desserts they offer. The most place is clean and very cute. Good to note that they have a good amount of vegetarian options.

I met Jennifer and Mito at a very luxurious event that they catered recently and I was blown away by their fine foods. The dolma and mantı were particular highlights, but I would trust any dish that comes out of their kitchen to be exemplary. Cannot recommend this place enough! And don't forget to practice your spoken Turkish with them if you run into them in person!

Follow up visit with coworkers and had another good experience. I really enjoy Mediterranean food, but this was Turkish/Halal cuisine, which is a little different than most Mediterranean places. Esmy (Esmeralda) assisted us again and was pleasant and helpful with choosing off their menu board, which includes items that are new to me. Restaurant has plenty of seating, including a large, covered patio. It's always been clean, and there's plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. FOOD: This time I ordered the Chicken Shish Kebap Plate ($21), served with pickled red cabbage, rice pilaf, and a spicy mayo dipping sauce. I also purchased a side of the Hummus ($6). Once again, my coworkers ordered the Zaza-Pidé ($9), which included minced beef, feta cheese, veggies, spices, and a red lentil spread on a very thin lavash flatbread, like a Turkish pizza. It looks a little strange if you've never seen one, but it's delicious! There can be a little bit of a wait for the food, but it's worth it. We really enjoy this place and will continue to do work lunches here. I highly recommend you give them a try, as the food is wonderful.

I got a to-go plate of lamb. $24 and the portion size is smaller than a $8 box of Chinese takeout. You can see from the top of the red bull can the amount of meat is in this thing. For the price, I'd go somewhere else

We discovered this spot months ago when we were in Pomona and were excited to come back and eat here because the food was so good that it was memorable. The employees and owner are really friendly. The food is delicious, even my picky mom loved it. The place itself is clean and has plenty of seating. Every time we're in Pomona, best believe we'll stop by Ps. Try the carrot salad

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Doner Plate (Beef and Lamb): 10/10 The pilaf is moist, slightly spicy, flavorful but not overpowering. Yogurt garlic sauce is nice and thick. It's super balanced. Neither the yogurt or garlic flavor is over or underwhelming. Meat is tender and moist. Carrot salad is thick and creamy and has a hint of sweetness. It balances the slight saltiness of the meat and the pita is nice and soft. Everything works together beautifully. Turkish Delight: 8/10 There are so many different flavors. It's very very sweet so I recommend eating it with coffee or tea. You pay per pound and they show you the scale as they cut it. Very very affordable and a nice little treat for after your food. The plate I got was about $6. They are imported from Turkey. Only rate it an 8 because super sweet desserts aren't particularly my thing, but I enjoyed the experience. Turkish Tea: 7/10 Nothing special in particular, but as an avid tea drinker, I have nothing to complain about. It's very mellow, so if you prefer strong tea, it's not for you. It does pair really well with the Turkish Delight. Service: 10/10 The owners are very very welcoming. Food came out pretty quick. They offered us samples of the turkish delight as well, which was freakin good btw. Ambiance: 10/10 It's somewhat newly renovated! It feels very welcoming and their outdoor area is beautiful as well!! There's plenty of space and seating for events, lunch with family/friends or even studying. It's great for all sorts of occasions. There's a couch with some comfy seats and there are some outlets here and there. Didn't get a good look. It's super clean and music playing in the background. There's plenty of parking. TDLR: Please come here. I don't say this often, but I don't have any critics on any of the food I tasted today. It was delicious, reasonably priced, accessible, clean, and welcoming. Put it in your bookmarks. I will be coming back.

Located near downtown Pomona. The parking was abundant and safe. The decor was modern contemporary. The whole place was very clean and spacious. The establishment has both indoor and outdoor seatings.futhe food could be ordered with a server or with their kiosk tablet. The price was very reasonable with good portion. The service was very approachable and friendly. They answered all questions with patience. The restaurant also had a dessert bar on the side, if you crave for more. The food was served within timely manner. The only thing I did not like was that the food was served in plastic and composite material, which felt a bit cheap. The chicken meat was slightly salty but the beef was superb. The yogurt sauce was very delicious. Overall, I give this place a 4.7 out of 5. With the reasonable price and portion, I would definitely come more often. read more

This is a gem in the middle of a mall in pomona. I never expected this quality and deliciousness. There's awesome kebabs, bbq, donor, and other middle eastern delicacies, including many types of desserts and my personal fave, the coffee. All of it was amazing. I think it was Mito himself who made an appearance and was a great host. Cant wait to come back! read more

I came here on the 20th, which was the second time I've eaten in here since it's been renovated and expanded into a nice sit-down restaurant with a café and outdoor grill. I ordered a döner kebab wrap with everything, yogurt garlic sauce, and a turkish sparkling water. The time before that I ordered a döner plate with bulgur, shakshuka, and lavash bread. It was all very delicious! The place has a great vibe and is always a pleasant experience. Christian at the register was very welcoming and helpful when ordering. A different Chris helped me out extensively with 3 custom gift boxes of Turkish delights, and the time before that, Chef Mito came around to make sure the food was good and if I needed anything. I don't know the other staff by name, but everyone's been great. Can't recommend this place to enough people! read more

This place is so GREAT!! And when I came in tonight the shop was under construction. So while I waited for my food I talked with the employees. Turns out they are putting in a sports bar and hookah lounge and more seating. I'm so glad this place has done well. They have delicious wraps that you can build your own (kind of a Chipotle or Blaze vibe) but they also have bowls and plates that are yummy as well. I want to say tonight was my 4th time here and I loved their red cabbage salad and the grape leaves were good too. So glad Mito's is doing so well!! I'll definitely be back for the sports bar opening. read more

Kids friendly and So good! Mito's Doner Kebab is honestly one of my new favorite spots now! The food is super tasty it is fresh, juicy and so authentic. You can tell they really care about what they serve. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I'll definitely be coming back for more kebabs soon! Honestly one of the best döner spots I've tried around here. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and really well prepared. You can tell they care about quality. Big thanks to Mithst and his wife -- super kind, welcoming, and genuinely good people. Every time I come in, they make the place feel warm and comfortable, not just like a regular restaurant. Mito's is located just around the corner from Pomona Valley, Medical Center. I was starving after a long time spent in the emergency department. I wanted to find something healthy to eat for lunch and stumbled across Mito's on Yelp. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. I selected the Lavash wrap with Doner Kebab, the wrap also came with a Turkish tea. The wrap was delicious! It brought back nostalgia of the wrap that I ate during my visit to Turkey many moons ago. The ambiance was clean & spacious. You can order hookah and enjoy it in the outdoor patio area. For dessert I ordered the mosaic cake, a chocolate pudding type dessert and Dubai chocolate. So happy to find this hidden gem across from Pomona Valley Hospital! The restaurant had a casual feel, a simple self ordering system and seating indoor or outdoor in their cute patio that doubles as an event area. Staff was friendly and food outstanding. We ordered the Döner plate and a lavash wrap and wow! Turkish delight galore and flaky baklava was scrumptious. So many options! Great Turkish food! Yelpers did not disappoint on rating this place! We have very friendly quick service. The food was amazing, deliciously flavorful. Wish we were closer as this would be a great place to grab every day quick bites. Zara beef is a must! Beef Döner was so good. The meat was spot on with the flavor and texture, perfectly moist, salty, chewy great bites. I was about to get some Baklava when the cashier told me about signing up as a VIP member for 2 free pieces....score! read more

Seriously, haven't been here since the remodel. Only 2 people working . The lady is rude. Not worth $20 for a wrap , tasteless, couldn't even taste the garlic yogurt, chili oil. To go order. Everyone always gets mad that I tip for everything Some really deserve it . The young man was nice but the wrap he made me was anorexic. They were nicer when it was a hole in the wall and could add different sauces. I spent my lunch waiting for my order. read more

Second time dining inside the recently expanded seating area. I came here once for some to-go several years ago (maybe at least 4 or 5 years?) I remember the food was delicious and always wanted to come back. Finally came around to it and have been back twice in the past month. Still delicious but now with far more options. Before it felt like a nice quick spot to grab lunch. Now, you can come have coffee in the super inviting and relaxing dining area. Got a sweet tooth? There's lots of pastries and sweets to pick from. Or grab dinner and a beer out in the new patio. The charcoal grilled beef plate with hummus and everything that comes with it was flavorful and delicious. Cooked perfectly. The place is kept up very well and clean. Service is good and friendly. Looking forward to returning at different times to taste more of the wide variety of offerings I have yet to try. read more

Holy crap, this place is GOOD. Yelp check in for the free baklava! I'd never heard of a zaza before, but when the sweet girl at the register suggested it, I thought what the heck, I'm up for trying anything once! It was delish! It was exactly like she described: a Middle Eastern pizza. But not w/the tomato sauce base. Like a lavash wrap but presented like a pizza. Also tried my sister's beef plate and the beef was sooooo good and the pickled cabbage too. Only drawback was it was hot as hell in there, especially on an August afternoon...but I'm guessing it may have been bc they were doing construction and the AC wasn't working? This place is just average. We had the beef and lamb plate that came in a tiny plastic tray with rice. It didn't have any flavor and some hard pieces of meat. Mito's was perfect for our mini reception after our vow renewal/Convalidation ceremony. Seats up to 40 comfortably. We stopped in a few times before the date to eat and we got to speak with Mito. They were more than happy to serve delicious food and set up how ever we wanted. He, his brother and staff were top notch hosts and made this Bride and Groom feel like royalty. The temperature was 90 degree weather that day but we did not feel it! The beautiful awning, wood wall paneling with an accent wall covered in foliage gave us a cool escape even with his grill going. I would definitely return for a casual lunch, meeting and yes a modest milestone celebration for an intimate party. All that aside, the food was DELICIOUS, and I have a picky family. They all loved it. My plate was beautifully served, with I would have snapped a picture before devouring it. The baklava was a perfect finish to our meal. My dear friend ordered a Turkish coffee that is usually served black but they offered sweeteners. I was really impressed with the presentation as it was brought out in a lamp and set out in a beautiful mini tea cup and coaster. She loved it! History

Established in 2020.

We opened in May 2020 in the middle of this pandemic. Bad timing, but we'd been planning and building out this location for more than a year. Chef Mithat (Mito) came to the US from Turkey, completed culinary arts training, worked in country clubs and then operated a food truck (which developed a big fan-base) in Detroit 2015-2017. But a restaurant in SoCal was the ultimate goal, and now we've made it a reality. We're proud to bring what we claim is the best Turkish food in SoCal to the Pomona Valley, including the best real Turkish doner you'll get anywhere in the world. Yes, bad timing, but adversity makes us stronger. We look forward to pleasing those who miss good Turkish food, and to introducing it to those who've never had it, all with warm Turkish hospitality.

Dolan's has received many accolades such as winning #63 on the L.A. Times 101 Best Restaurants in 2025 (#44 in 2024) and received an 8.0 rating from the Infatuation [2, 3]. If you're curious like me, the word "Dolan" refers to a people or region of what is now the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) and refers to an earlier culture and civilization in the region [4]. The restaurant is comfortable, not too many tables. Since I was eating dinner pretty late, there was only one other party finishing up their meal. The walls are decorated with plates, musical instruments, and trinkets that I'm assuming are associated with the Uyghur culture. A huge mural near the back features comically muscular men playing musical instruments with #GoogleUyghurs on the top right corner, referring to the oppression of Uyghur and other Turkic minorities in XUAR. The Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide published its report "Eight Years On, China's Repression of the Uyghurs Remains Dire" in February 2025, and I thought it was a great resource that provides a thorough background on the matter [5]. The lettuce had grey cracks from age, the tomato was unripe, the pita chips were stale. And the diced pepper had sticker on it (some of which I ate before I realized). See photo. Makes me feel like they didn't properly wash the produce... Wish we had gone anywhere else.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much but when you walk inside, it's the cutest little place ever especially for being quick service. I like that their menu was simple and to the point. They had a good selection of meat choices.. I played it safe and ordered a Carne Asada burrito with everything to share with my dad. I definitely plan to come back and take both of my parents soon since this place is delicious and affordable. 10/10 recommend!

The Honey Walnut Shrimp was cooked perfectly--crispy, tender, coated in a creamy sauce that wasn't overly sweet, with fresh candied walnuts that added the perfect crunch. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. Everything about this meal--from the service to the food to the ambiance--made for a fantastic dining experience. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in the Pomona area with generous portions, flavorful dishes, and outstanding hospitality, this is definitely worth a visit. There's being cost conscious and there is being cheap and unserious about descent customer service. Here's a thought, instead of weighing the amount of greens you place in a bowl at the start of the salad build, how about weighing what the customer purchases at the end? Much better model for customer satisfaction and I bet your revenue will increase as well. Until then, stay away from these cheapskates....

I had the Tostada Mixta pictured below and believe it or not I had already dug in and eaten a whole tostada by the time I remembered to snap a pic. The portions are very generous and for the price, can't be beat! The Tacos de Camaron are flavor packed with every bite. These are freshly cooked to order and you can tell by the temperature, be careful. I can't describe them to anything else I have had in the past as they are so unique in the best way. Not pictured is the aguachiles. As spicy as they are, I couldn't find myself putting them down. The flavor keeps you hooked wanting more and more. I am excited to try out a Coctel next and am positive I will have nothing but praise. Definitely worth a try if you are ever out in the area or just passing by. The bang for your buck and the flavor held in each morsel which be nothing short of satisfactory.

There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.

I stumbled upon this restaurant conveniently located right across the street from Pomona Valley Hospital, and what a gem it turned out to be! The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a welcoming vibe. It was my first time trying Turkish food, so I wasn't sure what to order. The young man at the front was super helpful and recommended the Beef Kebab Plate. I went with his suggestion and added a side of hummus. One of the things I really appreciated was that they let you sample the sides before choosing--such a thoughtful touch! The beef kebab was grilled fresh and cooked to a perfect medium rare, just the way I like it. You could tell the owner really cared about quality and getting things just right. For dessert, I treated myself to some baklava and Turkish coffee--both were amazing. I ordered for pickup while I was close because I'd had this establishment bookmarked for a while (always seeking for döner places). The lot parking is shared with the nearby grocery shop. When I arrived, my lamb tandir lavash wrap was still being prepared, but it was interesting to watch the food being created to order, and I didn't have to wait too long. The personnel was kind, the facility was clean, and the lamb was delicious and tender. Definitely amazing food a great customer service! My son found this place on Yelp and I said sure let's try it. When you walk in they have pictures of food so your not wondering what's inside or what it's going to look like. When we got our food the spices added were just the right amount and zaza with the sauce blew it out of the park for me, I am Arabic and this is very close to home food. One of the top restaurants/cafes in Pomona. I come 1-2 per month and the food is always high quality and delicious. It generally takes a little longer than other take out, but the place is so nice to sit and relax. I also love the Turkish coffee and baklava special on a sunny afternoon.
