The rice here is delicately warm, pairs well with the fish, and has a pleasant, slightly sweet and vinegary taste. Simply delightful. The miso soup was also quite delicious, with a hearty, deep, set of flavors in the soup stock, and the scallop hand roll here was so good, I forgot to take a photo before devouring it haha. The lunch special should be enough food for most folks, but you're always welcome to add additional items to it! Now, is it good enough for me to try the more expensive dinner courses? Debatable, but it might be... just barely! The value proposition is hard to ignore, though. It's certainly one of the best deals you'll find on the Westside.
