Gyoza (4pcs)

This place was excellent! It is a small local place, but all so delicious! The service was attentive and kind, and we loved the ramen. Better than any we've had in Houston! The Mabo tofu ramen had an excellent spice to it and was just truly amazing. The eggs though- they stole the show! They were cooked absolutely perfectly, the texture and flavor was incredible! Such a great spot!

Little shop in Kailua town. 61degrees and raining all day. Needed some hot soup and found this place after yelping. Had the Won Ton. No pix. Was cold and hungry. Pretty much like street vendor taste. Beautifully flavored broth. Was almost a shame because when I asked for mustard, they gave it me in the dish with the shoyu already added. I just picked out the mustard used it. Using the shoyu would have made it too salty for my taste. Next time, yes there will be a next time, I'll ask them for mustard, no shoyu.

We were very hungry and craving ramen. The price was just right, and the food was good. The service was also fast.

Excellent flavor, fast, and price is right. Large portions that could have feed two hearty appetites. Glad we found it

Had lunch at this Ramen restaurant with our family. 1. Tried a variety of dishes - Wonton Soup - Ramen - Noodles All tasted good .. 2. Location- BY Penne UFC gym is half block away. Interior is basic and small. 3. Service was professional

Mabo Tofu Ramen Add egg

Was a nice spicy mapo. The added egg wasn't gooey like I hoped, but it seems places in general don't do that anymore. Big and had a good amount of pork and noodles would get again

I've been ordering delivery from Miyoshi the last year+ but I'm so glad I got to finally dine in the other day! The gentleman that checked us in was very thorough in checking our covid cards and could've been nicer about it. They have a handful of tables inside and also a table for two outside on the sidewalk. They removed the flags across the door so it's easier to enter now lol. I got the Combo A (tan tan ramen w/ gyoza) and kimchi fried rice with chicken. The tan tan was great and way bigger than I expected for a combo. The fried rice was huge and gave me leftovers for like 4 extra meals.

I can't believe I've been depriving myself of having amazing ramen so close to home!!! Ate here yesterday and was blown away by the flavors of their ramen!! I got the tan tan and my son had a the shoyu and we ate every bit of it.

Place definitely doesn't look too inviting, but food.. omg! So good! Huge portions, freshly prepared, definitely worth trying!

Weirdly, I'm giving this place 5 stars for their Char Sui fried rice and 3 stars for their Chicken Katsu ramen. Please order their fried rice for me, I miss it already.

Good food and reasonable prices. When I am hungry for ramen I go here. Their fried rice, chicken wings, and gyoza are also good.

My cousin's two kids love this place and insisted it has the best fried rice. I'm usually not a big fried rice person, but I was curious and tried it. I can see why people like it. I ordered the shrimp katsu ramen with a shoyu egg. The broth and noodles were excellent and really the highlight of the dish. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp katsu on its own since it was a bit chewy, but once it soaked in the broth, it was much better. The portion size was just right, filling without being too much. Overall, a solid ramen spot, especially if you're already in Kailua.

There were fly traps hanging from the ceiling, which was quite unpleasant to see while trying to eat. Strangely, the staff was mopping the floor right next to occupied tables during a busy late-night rush. The menus also smelled like a dirty bathroom; I couldn't hold mine for more than a minute without gagging. While the staff was quick and the food came out fast, the kitchen was disorganized. They forgot our miso soup and brought out edamame instead of the menma (bamboo shoots) we ordered. We had the gomoku ramen, spicy beef ramen, gyoza, lemon tea, a side of menma, and shrimp tempura udon. The gyoza and lemon tea were delicious, but they couldn't outweigh the negatives. According to my family, two out of the three soups tasted like dish soap. We were too exhausted after work to send them back, but it was honestly gross. To top it off, the single-stall unisex bathroom had that same foul odor. I wouldn't recommend Daiichi Ramen. Serving 'dish soap soup' is unacceptable in food service. You're better off heading to the nearby Burger King or Safeway for late-night eats.

I ordered online and my ramen was in a bag when I arrived just a minute early. I forgot to request utensils...something to keep in mind for the next occasion. I've only ate takeout from their Kapolei locale - and when I was still a vegetarian. Their vegan ramen is also excellent. Hours are 1100a to 900p daily. Plenty of stalls in the shopping center. As you increase from spicy level 1 to 4 you incur an additional charge each level topping out at $2.00. Will you weigh the salt and pepper shakers afterwards too?

I thought tge kim chee was a good level if heat, but my friend could only eat 1 piece. We both ate a little more than half of everything & took home leftovers. I am not a fan if katsu (chicken or pork) because it tends to be oily, but I took a chance & so glad I did! Ayame's chicken katsu was not oily & it was crispy/crunchy. I also don't like katsu sauce (don't judge), so I ate it w/the gyoza dipping sauce I made & I was happy! I would like to try their curry & ramen on future trips. The staff were very courteous and efficient. They have 10 different broths to choose from. My hubby suggested the Canh Chua $10.99. It's a Vietnamese sweet and sour soup made from chicken broth. It's sweetened with pineapple, tomato and taro stem; then garnished with spring onion and Thai basil. The selection of food is on colored coated plates: $3.89 for green, $4.89 for yellow, $5.89 for red, $6.89 for blue and $10.89 for black. Most of the meat and seafood plates are $6.89. Most of the noodles and veggies plates are $4.89. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the broth. Holy smokes, I eat a lot of hot pot and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. I couldn't stop drinking it. My hubby told me to stop or we weren't going to have any broth to cook the food in. Luckily, the staff told us if we needed more broth that it was refillable. We got ribeye, brisket, shrimp, udon, pumpkin, quail eggs and tobiko ball. Everything was fresh. The shrimp with head was huge. My favorite was the tobiko ball. I just love that, tobiko in fishcake. The sauce bar was good. Any outstanding hot pot place needs a good sauce bar. The first sauce I mixed was black bean with house special and cilantro. The second was miso with ginger and sesame with cilantro. They were both delicious. I don't think you can go wrong mixing any of the sauces. We got a stamp card after we paid our bill.
