If you're a gal on the go in need of a quality, but fast manipedi - Mizu will totally style you. These guys had me in and out in about 45 minutes, which was helpful since I was on a $3/hour meter around the corner. The downside was that I didn't get the relaxing experience I was wanting. I also was bummed that their chairs are far enough apart to prohibit a conversation if you're there with a compatriot. At $50 - the price is on the high side for a standard manipedi, but their midweek/midday special is a great deal at $38. Overall, I received a solid manipedi and I would return if I needed to spruce up the nails under a time constraint. My manicure lasted for over a week and my pedicure still looked nice a month later - impressive! read more

I really, really want to love this place. But I'm sad to have to give 2 - 2.5 stars. I've gone here a few times and have gotten pretty good (and expensive) pedicures. The quality had been good, and the spa is VERY relaxing (modern, beautiful, quite, nice music playing). This last time I decided to splurge and get a pedicure and a manicure with gel paint, and it ended disastrously. First, the gal who was shaping my nails did a very poor job. She didn't ask me what shape I wanted, and made them round. Like grandma round. Secondly, she also cut off my nails. Down to the quick. My nails grow really slowly, and it had taken me 10+ weeks to get them as long as they were. I gasp when I saw them saying "They're so SHORT!" and the gal simply replied with "You had one nail that was broken. I had to cut them all off to make them even....it's ok right?" I really wished they would have asked me before filing my nails down to stubs. And at that point, I felt like it had to be ok - my nails were gone - what were they going to do about it? When I complained to the gal at the front desk she simply said, "I'm sorry to hear you wanted them long, we'll put a note in your file for next time," and then proceeded to charge me full price for my services. Even a small discount would have been nice when a customer says "No, am not happy with this problem that cannot be reversed." Third, after two days of my gel manicure, FIVE of my nails were chipping. I had to go back the next week have them re-do most of my nails. I felt like after paying $75+ for the last round of services, they should at least last a few weeks (it was gel after all, those are supposed to last forever). In short, I want to love this place. I want to not care that it's expensive. I want to think they have the best services in the world. But they don't. They' have shotty service, and charge an arm and a leg for it. Next time I'm looking for a crappy manicure, I'll pay $18 for it instead of $40. read more

There are two types of nail salons: walk-ins and up-scale. I usually go to walk-in nail salons. To be more specific, I prefer those with cheesy over-sized posters of hands with long painted red nails holding a matching red rose. Salons where the staff doesn't talk to you, either because they are letting you enjoy your private time or they don't speak english. Salons where you have a remote control to work the massage chair. The problem is that most of the walk-in salons (Divisadero Nails being my favorite), are closed on Sunday. Unfortunately this Sunday I had an irreversible urge to get a pedicure. So I decided to call some of these "upscale" salons to get an appointment (since they laugh at you if you try to walk-in). I made an appointment for 2:45. At 3:15, I was still waiting, reading my W Magazine. I'm not sure what the point of an appointment is if clients must wait. I thought the purpose of appointments was to optimize the overlap of supply and demand. The walk-in salons seem to be able to navigate supply-chain issues and the wait is NEVER beyond 15 minutes. That being said, my pedicure was mediocre. For twice the price, it was barely as good as my walk-in masterpieces. I suppose this is my fault, as I should better time my nail-care desires. read more

This is one of the best nail salons I have been to in San Francisco and my favorite neighborhood nail spa! For those of you who complain about Mizu Spa being expensive, all you have to do is take a look at their promotions page (http://www.mizuspasf.com/pages/promotions.html) and know that Tuesday - Thursday before 4 pm you'll can get a Signature Mani / Pedi combo for $50. This is very reasonable given that you get a thorough foot and hand scrub, and a thorough mani and pedi massage. For a Classic Mani / Pedi (sans massage and scrub) you pay $40. I love that the spa has a "no cell phone / no talking" policy because you can really unplug and relax while getting your nails done without having to listen to the manicurists yap and gossip. Most importantly, what impressed me was their attention to detail and customer service. The head hostess at the front desk remembered my name throughout my appointment and kept speaking to me by referencing my first name. She did the same for other customers. I'm excited to call Mizu Spa my neighborhood nail spa, and will make this my regular go-to place! Tip: Make an appointment ahead of time, they tend to get busy. read more

This review is for their eyelash extensions. I've been getting them done for over 7 years now, and hands-down it was the worst experience I have ever had! The medical tape (normal spas use the most gentle kind and wear out the adhesive before applying to eye areas) wouldn't come off and she ended up tearing the skin under my eyes. It was so painful, I asked to remove it myself. Also, my upper and lower lashes stuck together so I couldn't open my eyes! If that's not bad enough, because she couldn't separate the lashes, she actually CUT my lower lashes. Walked away with tiny blood tears under my eyes and two extension stubs glued to my lower lashes. Even though I told reception what happened and expressed how unhappy I was, they still charged me full price. PLEASE go elsewhere -- as someone who has been getting extensions for years, the aesthetician clearly does not know what she's doing (even though she claimed she's been practicing for 4 years). read more

This was one of my stops during my bachelorette's weekend. I wanted pretty bachelorette's nails and I found something cute on Pinterest that didn't look too difficult to do. I showed the picture to the technician and she said she didn't know how to do it. I showed the owner and she asked her other technicians and none of them could do it. I was disappointed. So I looked for something else and they couldn't do that either. So I asked her what my options were. She said to pick a color and they can paint my nails. Really!? I could just do that myself! Oh well, I was already there so I just picked something. I chose white and glitter for one party nail. Even that was difficult to ask for because technician didn't speak English well. Awesome! I've been passing by Mizu for the past few months and finally got a chance to try it out last weekend. In one word? Excellent. Not only was it a great deal - $40 for a thorough, luxurious pedi with plenty of massage - but the service is also wonderful. While I was waiting for my service to start, I sneezed a couple of times from some allergies. The receptionist immediately brought over some kleenex without skipping a beat. Is that service or what? Yes, the nail salon services are pricey here compared to your typical mom and pop places. But you get what you pay for. I got a mani/pedi and eyelash extensions, and really liked the results. Mani/Pedi - overall service was great. They sit you down, put a neck massage warmer on your shoulders, and offer tea. My polish lasted a lot longer than all my previous manis, and I brought my own OPI polish. I think it's the top coat they use. Eyelash extension - very happy with the results! They came out very natural looking and I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable price of the service. All the ladies here are very friendly. Definitely coming back. read more

I wish I could give them a better review. Linda, my regular wax technician, is actually pretty good. And I've had a fairly good experience with her. However, twice, her waxing ripped off my skin :( Unfortunately, this happened on my face (!) upper lip and eyebrows. Took me weeks to heal..and I'm not sure I've healed completely...there seems to be a shadow scar below my eyebrows. Now I cannot wax for at least a few months which is a real nuisance. They didn't change the stick or their wax is too hot. I think they need to be more careful about the wax they use too - using hard wax instead of regular wax on the face, getting regular feedback during waxing session will minimize these type of issues. read more

I usually wait about 3-4 services until I can build a solid review. I work about 2 mins walking distance from Mizu and couldn't wait to take advantage of their early bird special. ($38 for mani/pedi mon-thurs before 4p) My first time was awesome. My nais were manicured to perfection. 2nd time, same thing. 3rd, once again amazed. 4th, I brought a co worker with me and we were both delighted. Given the location and interior design of Mizu, I believe 5 stars are in order. When I am overwhelmed at work and get annoyed with the men I work with, I take a girly time out and sit back and relax. It's my private Oasis and I get to rest for an hour before coming back to nerd life at work. If you work in the area, come in for a treatment. You will LOVE it. This place is trying to convince you that it is a luxury spa with all white, modern decor and the price tag of a luxury spa. A regular pedicure and 25min foot massage came out to a total of $60 without tip, but the service was the same as what I would get at a regularly priced nail salon. Actually - the initial service was worse. I had an appointment and when I showed up, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes without an apology from any of the staff. Apparently it is normal to wait beforehand even with an appointment. The ambiance is nice and my nail lady was extremely sweet. She served me tea and did a great job with the foot massage. However, it's just not worth the money when I can get better treatment at a lower-priced, less "luxurious" nail salon. read more

I really really wish I could give it a better rating... Last Sunday I got the gel lacquer done & I purposely waited a week to write this to give a solid review on the paint job. I must say that the nail polish is only chipping on my thumb nails & it is only noticeable up close. Although my nails look stellar - my cuticles are another story. She jacked up my cuticles really really badly. She cut my one thumb up and it still isn't healed, the others are all peeling & I find myself having to cut them myself. I also got a pedicure while I was there -- the paint job on my toes look awesome butttt the pedicure was not relaxing and it was really short. I got my nails done here two weeks ago and they are so great. Normally my gel just doesn't last long no matter where I go and it's still holding strong! They fit me in the same day as well. It was not super quick because the woman who helped me took her time and did a great job cutting my cuticles so just be aware if you are in a hurry! Highly recommend. read more

I just got my signature medi/pedi here for the first time. I was able to get myself into Thursday early bird appointment at 2pm and finished on time. I must say that I love the surrounding. It's so calming and soothing. Frankly though, the quiteness made me feel a little akward at first, but I got used to it somehow. I didn't know what to expect from the technicians. But I think they did a good job with polishing my nails. But not so much of cleaning the dead-hard skin, cuttiles. I still have them after the final result, though I didn't realized this after I got home. And they didn't really buff my feet either. Just one-two strokes, but that's it? I remember getting meni/pedi while I was vacationing in Thailand, and they really did buff my feet to perfection, got rid of all the dead and hard skin. I was expecting something like that here, but I guess it was just a wishful thinking. I still have to do scrubbing and buffing my feet and cutting my cuticles at home myself. :( But it was still by far the best meni/pedi I ever had compared to those regular nails salons. I loved the aromatherapy they used. I got out the spa feeling relax and calm and my nails looks beautiful, very shinny. I didn't mind paying more for service that I can get and enjoy. Later today I have an appointment for a hot stone massage, never done this before, so I really don't know what to expect from the service. I may have to try other place just to compare. The other main reason I come here is that the spa is just 2 minutes walks from my office - super convenient. I hope the 80 minutes hot stone massage would be great. read more

Cute, Chic, Calming. When you walk in Mizu Spa you will find a row of white chairs awaiting you. The place is decorated with white curtains offset with stones accented throughout the spa. The manicures and pedicures are done in this front area while the face and body treatments are completed in rooms located in the back. By the way, you'll have to check out their cute bathroom (attention to detail is very important to me). hehe Loved my mani/pedi. My sister said her facial left her face feeling great. My other sister loved her neck pillow and foot/leg massage. One suggestion is to dim the lights above the center of the room for a more relaxing mani/pedi. Otherwise, I love this place. The owners and workers are professional and nice. Remember to go early if you need to find parking. Also, Mizu Spa would be a good place to hold a fun mani/pedi bridal party. So look, right, I'm a straight guy. I'm not supposed to like spas. It's just not right. However, I sit in front of a computer all day and so I need to get regular massage to remove all the knots and crap from the muscles in my back and shoulders. My wife went here for a massage and said it was so good I had to go and try it myself. So I went. And I have to say, it was pretty damned good. Now, I don't like this 'touch touch rub rub' surface massage for girls. Oh no, what I want is deep tissue, elbow into the knots and work the fuckers out massage. It's painful, but it's the only way to relieve the muscle. So when I was greeted by this slight, small Japanese lady who was going to do my massage I was already getting ready for a let down. Well, I jumped the gun - boy was she good! At one point she had me lying on my front with my leg arched back over so my foot was above my ass. She then dug her elbow into my glute (top of my ass) and with the other hand manipulated my foot around so that this huge knot passed back and forth across her elbow. Now, I should point out this was fucking painful. But after she had done both sides I was able to click one of my subluxated vertebrae back. Wow. She broadly speaking continued like this across my back and arms. Sadly she didn't touch my neck nor my wrists, which would have been nice (I have to concentrate on the areas prone to RSI). I found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out since it was really close my to apartment. I called about 1.5 hours before closing and asked for a waxing appointment. The receptionist was super nice and really tried to accommodate my last minute request. Linda was GREAT and easy to talk to during my appointment and was very attentive to what she was doing. I had a long conversation with her about life, and it was nice to be able to trust someone right off the bat. I will definitely come back here again! I am a longtime loyal patron of Silk for mani/pedis. But recently many of their staff went on vacation and its been tough to get a weekend appointment, so I turned to my fellow Yelpers for a pinch-hit recommendation and found Mizu. OMFG, Mizu is awesome - and now I feel like I am cheating on Silk. Here's what impresses me about Mizu: -- the front desk staff is consitently friendly -- easy appointments -- the place does not smell chemically AT ALL (and incredibly, neither do my nails afterwards) -- the aesthetic is contemporary asian, minimalistic chic -- the pace is unhurried -- the nail technicians are not distracted by everyone who walks past them, and don't engage in chatter with other technicians (lending a more peaceful experience) -- warm neck pillow -- long hand/leg massage that rivals Silk -- hygenic tools that have been autoclaved -- Na does the BEST manicure (great shape, polish right up to, but not touching/sticking to the cuticle). -- Kelly does a great pedicure (again great shape, she never dug/cut around my cuticles too deeply or harshly). -- the music is super soothing massage-like music, not new-agey, not muzak, not "adult" AOR -- choice of 4 different lotions (lemongrass, kiwi and coconut, etc.) The setup is interesting - like eight white thrones straight down center of the floor, separated by a river of smooth black river stones. Minor nits: -- forget about Chanel's Blue Satin, no Chanel or YSL polishes here -- smaller color selection (mostly OPI, Essie and a few Lippmans) -- parking sucks (a quarter for 5 minutes at the meters, or "free" with a $5 purchase at Safeway; you can always take the train but thats a buzzkill after the zen experience at Mizu) -- location: unless you live within walking distance there's no sane way to get here when there's a baseball game -- the thrones do not have head/neck support. They do place a fluffy pillow behind your head, but it doesn't come up high enough to comfortably rest your head back when you get your hand/leg massage -- not enough magazines -- on the pricey side Lastly, they have a hot-stone mani/pedi which is a fun one-time luxury to try out. The stones are soothing and warm, but you don't get the same pressure that you would with bare hands and warm lotion (which I like). All in all, lovin' Mizu and highly recommend it -- if you can get down there (1 star off for the inaccessible location if there's a baseball game, you don't want to take the train, or need anything at Safeway). read more

Pampered from the moment you walk through the door. Green Tea is served as soon as you're seated in one of their luxurious white satin love seats with satin pillows for extra comfort. A warm lavender wrap is placed around your neck to soothe the shoulders. The service is seriously the best and I've been to quite a few salons over the years. All tools are sanitized and taken out of vacuum sealed bags. Disposable tray liners are used in the water basins. Mani & pedi's last about 2.5 to 3 weeks - swear by it. Great French Manicures that truly last for weeks. Mani/Pedi's scheduled Tues - Thurs before 4:00pm get a discounted rate of $38 for Classic and $48 for Signature. I've had some decent experiences at Mizu, mainly because of their no cell phone policy and the fact that their nail techs don't sit there and babble loudly in multiple languages while you're trying to relax. The services for mani/pedi are decent and while they don't last long (2-3 days max on mani, one week on pedi), I typically just go for the relaxation factor. I agree with other reviewers who say their polish selection is pretty boring as well. They walk a fine line between leaving you alone to relax and making you feel totally ignored as a paying client the second your top coat goes on. I've never tried any of their other services, but it doesn't seem like the kind of place I'd choose to go for a massage or any facial services. I've learned that you have to make an appointment in advance even for a non-busy Sunday afternoon when SOMA is basically deserted. I walked in thinking getting a mani-pedi within a half hour would be no big deal, especially considering only two of their many built-in block style chairs were even being used and was told the services I requested were not available. Why call yourself a "spa" which implies a decent sized staff if you can't service clients when there's no one in the place? Disappointing all around, and not worth the time hassle. read more

Having read the other reviews, I was a little skeptical paying Mizu prices for what I wanted: underarm wax, 20 minute chair massage. I went in during my lunch; Mizu being pretty much the closest/only spa to my work and therefore making me a captive audience. The good news is that I can report that they do not keep the doors open anymore. And the fans are quieted. It really is fairly zen in there. I saw a couple of women dozing in their chairs during their mani/pedi, which seems like a fabulous way to spend a lunch hour. I thought all their products, the lotions, the massage oil, the wax, smelled great. A little girly/fruity (probably wouldn't want my boyfriend smelling this way), but better than most. My chair massage was really, very good. The masseuse was surprisingly skilled (and I am a person who has a personal record of having gotten 8 massages in as many days, so I know a little about technique). What I'm saying is, I dozed off during my massage. The bad: for the prices that they charge during peak after work hours, Mizu should step their game up a little. The staff break room was open during my visit and I could see/hear people chatting and eating before and after my treatment. Which is not super congruous with the Zen-vibe Mizu's trying to foster. My waxer sucked. Seriously. She made a comment about how little underarm hair I had (is that really a bad thing?), and then tore the wax strip incorrectly, causing her to have to reapply the wax and do the same area TWICE. I'm sure anyone who has been waxed before will know how painful that is. I'm bummed, because other reviewers have raved about the bikini wax here. Conclusion is that Mizu is worth a trip, if you can pay the price. I would go back for another massage, or one of those lunchtime nap/mani/pedis. They look incredible. read more

It does give you a very nice and relaxation feeling as you enjoy your treatment @ Mizu. I had high hopes for this place based on previous reviews, but unfortunately, I will never be going back... I went in for a Brazilian wax about a week ago and the experience was completely awful from beginning to end. Please read further if you want a decent laugh. TLDR; I left looking like Howie Mandel's chin. First off, the room the service was completed in was small, dark, and dingy. You walk in through a sliding door and the table is about 4 inches away from the wall on all sides. When you're laying half-naked on a table it's extremely uncomfortable to think that anyone can walk by and slide the door open and get a glimpse of all your goods. The towel that was handed to me to cover myself looked like it had seen way better days and the towel that covered the table looked like it hadn't been washed in a week. I should have walked out at this point but I was desperate and had no time to find somewhere else. Second, the waxer did nothing to make me feel at ease. A little pleasant conversation when you're staring/ripping the hair off my lady parts would have been nice. She also sheered me like a sheep. Granted it had been awhile since my last wax but I have gone to other spas with the same amount and nobody has ever taken clippers to me. That was just weird. Third, the waxer kept blowing on the wax to cool it down. Call me a germaphobe, but do you realize how much bacteria you just blew all over a substance that is about to go on my vagina?? Thats just gross. Wave it around in the air or something to cool it down. Anything but blowing your saliva droplets on it. Also, the wax quality is extremely cheap and I had a lot of little sticky patches left over that I continued to feel under my jeans all day. Fourth, (probably the worst but most comical part) is I asked for a Brazilian wax but for a strip of hair to be left down the middle. I made this VERY clear at the beginning of the appointment. What was left after all was said and done was a little one-inch patch of hair that was not centered in the least and looked like a teenage boy's attempt to grow a chin-strap. IT WAS AWFUL. She showed me with the mirror and I had to hold in a gasp. I should have made her strip it all off but after this experience, I wanted to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible so I put my clothes back on and scrammed. Later that day I went home and had to clean up the waxer's handwork myself, smh. All in all, money wasted but a hilarious story to tell my girl friend's after. Cheers! read more

This is a great place. Compared to other high-end spas in the city, the prices are pretty reasonable. I go once a month for a Signature Massage with Patrice. He is soooo amazing. I will not go to anyone else. In fact, recently I had some neck and shoulder pain and needed to come in for a massage but Patrice was out of town. I lived with the pain for a week until he got back...pretty loyal huh? His hands heal me every time. I also had a Signature pedi here a few month back. To be honest, this place isn't really anything special. But it does have a clean and refreshing atmosphere. And the people who work here are for the most part friendly and helpful. But trust me, this place is nothing more than 3 stars. Seeing all the 5 star reviews on here makes me seriously question the judgement of my fellow yelpers, something I tend not to do! MANI-PEDI: ok (but not if you really, really want all that dead skin taken off). The early-bird special makes it more worth while. I think I'm digging the whole one person works on your hands, one on your feet thing. Makes the whole process quicker. Plus, the hand/arm massage was nice. I still can't get used to the rubber gloves for the pedi massage though. I mean, I get it, but it just feels weird. But like I said, don't expect your feet to be as soft as a baby's butt when you leave. They'll look pretty though. FACIAL: I don't really think the facial I got did that much- and I got a full hour one. It was the kind of facial where you don't feel like you've really gotten your money's worth- there was no special glow to my skin afterwards, I didn't feel totally deep cleaned, or all melty relaxed either. Just somewhat refreshed & relaxed. Overall- the early-bird specials make the prices more normal. But otherwise, I would not go out of my way for this place. I don't even think I'd go if it wasn't right across the street from where I live/work. And I won't be returning for a facial- again, nothing was bad, but I don't treat myself to facials all the time, and when I do, I want them to be exxxxxcellent. read more

Ok I wasn't really that impressed with what I got when I came into Mizu but I'm going to chalk that up to not having a appointment and not asking for what I wanted clearly. Ok maybe I need to bump this up to 3 stars since I'm taking most of the blame here. Let me tell you about the inside and the service. I thought I asked for the classic mani/pedi but got just the pedi. signature style. I was thinking there would have been a little more flare to it but not really it was kind of lacking that extra lil something that I get over this place on Lombard in the Marina. Yeah I'm part time Marina Boy shhh. My favorite part of the pedi was the warm lotion and leg massage. Don't get me wrong everything else was cool too but the massage stood out. I think everyone will like the glass of water or tea and the warm bean bag to relax your neck and shoulders. I think it has some aroma therapy to it. Probably the best nail solan I have ever been to. Super clean. Everything is sterilized and the bags are opened right in front of u. It's a nail spa so no phones and no noise and no Asian people talking in your head it's amazing! Their work is flawless plus the environment is so relaxing and quit it's actually very enjoyable to be at. I always look forward to my appointments here. read more

Call me crazy, but I like to get pedicures and fall asleep. It's in my list of Top 5 All Time Favorite Things. It's my idea of a perfect weekday afternoon. I can do that at Mizu. It's so quiet you can totally forget that you are on King Street and the city is right outside the door. I'm a fan of the tea, the neck pillows, the chairs that are like thrones. I'm a fan of the massage and the heated lotion and the hidden water tubs for your feet. I'm a fan of the sheer drapes on the wall that look like water through sleep heavy half-open eyes. I wish they had a slightly bigger polish selection, but hey, I'm also a fan of bringing my own color in so this isn't even really an issue. I'm just a fan of Mizu. read more

The worst mani/pedi I have ever received. It was far from relaxing. I started with a massage and it was wonderful. One of the best i'd the best one I've ever had. Then I moved onto a facial. Again, wonderful experience. I would day I'd go back for those two services but my nail experience was so bad. My nails looked horrible after and when I told the front desk about my unhappiness with my nails she offered nothing. She could see how messed up they were. I have never had such a pleasant waxing experience...and this is from a girl who has been waxing since 1993. I can say, hands down, Linda is the best waxing specialist I've seen. Not only was she absolutely professional and likable, but she was fast, thorough and knew exactly how to navigate "difficult areas"...girls you know what I'm talking about and this is critical. It was notable that to finish the service, the Spa treats your freshly waxed skin to a warm towel treatment to ensure you don't go out with those embarrassing wax patches all over your legs. Really thougtful and much appreciated. I will go back most certainly, why would I go anywhere else? I also was impressed by the overall atmosphere of Mizu Spa itself. Im not sure where to even begin. I have been going to Mizu Spa since the second day they opened. And I have to say that I really love this place! I have to start by saying that the owners are beautiful and attentive women, and never fail to be very informative about the products they sell or the services they provide. I am a fan of weekly manicures and pedicures and monthly facial appointments. I faithfully, like clockwork, frequent Mizu Spa. I like the variety of the nail services that they provide, but most of all, the manicurists they staff. Na, Fanny and Helen have been doing my manicures and pedicures for the last two years and they are fantastic! They are very meticulous when it comes to nail work and I have never had my paint chipped or any hang nails. I used to get gel nails a long time ago but when I discovered Mizu Spa, I switched to natural nail care. They have enhanced my nail growth as well as the softness of my hands and feet. I love the kiwi and coconut scrub and lotion they use during the appointment. It smells so invigorating and I have not yet to begin bragging about how great their facials are! Roya, is the esthetician of my dreams. Not only is she is beautiful and stylish but she knows her stuff! I have had many facials before at other spas but she is the best esthetician I have ever had. I have sensitive skin and she recommends products that I can use daily on my face to keep an ongoing glow. She is also great at shaping eyebrows. I have ran into estheticians that wax off too much of my eyebrows and then they grow back slowly but Roya, maintains my arch and takes her time to get every single hair outside of a perfect shape. Mizu Spa uses Kerstin Florian products in which I have introduced into my home routine. The chamomile shower gel and lotion, lavender oil, spirulina face wash gel, and let's not forget about the caviar eye cream! All the products are worth the price and last a long time as well. I have been using these products faithfully and they have yet to fail me. I don't wear makeup, and after using the Kerstin Florian products that they offer and/or getting a facial by Roya, I have a healthy glow that makes me look like I am wearing bronzer! Can you say flawless?! I highly recommend this spa to anyone that is looking for natural nail care and a face that stops traffic! lol. Take advantage of their early bird specials and always get a manicure/pedicure combo. Oh yeah, try the Caviar facial that is relaxing for 80 minutes or the Refresher Facial (50 minutes). I get their signature mani-pedi on a pretty regular basis and love it. The place is great, though I'd love he overheads to be on dimmers so that they could change the mood depending on the day. I also tried out their waxer for a bikini wax and it was the most painless wax I've ever had! I was shocked! I am totally going here for my downtown maintenance. Minus 1 star --- they start the pedicure off by scrubbing your feet BEFORE you soak. I'm not a fan of that. It's uncomfortable if my feet are dirty to have the poor girl scrubbing them, and it feels better to soak your feet and then get the shit off of them. read more
