This was easily one of the best sushi spots I've been to! The sushi was incredibly fresh, delicious, and they had such a great variety of rolls and other menu options to choose from. What I really appreciated was that the menu had something for everyone. My partner isn't usually a sushi fan, and one of my friends had barely ever tried sushi before, but they both ended up loving the food. There were also plenty of non-sushi options, so no one felt limited to only ordering sushi. We came during their lunch special, and I have to say it's one of the best lunch deals I've come across, especially considering how much I travel. The quality, portion sizes, and value were all outstanding. Service was also pretty fast, and the decor was so nice! I had a great evening experience here. All you can eat sushi for $27.55 with tax. It tasted good, fresh. The spicy tuna has crunchy rice added to it so it's more filling but it still tasted good. Came back for dinner date to try the dinner menu but it's just too hard to pass up the all you can eat menu. We sat at the bar since it was a busy Saturday night crowd. The food was great as usual. Our favorite roll was the Grand Rapids roll- easily had the most dynamic flavor clash with the other two coming off a bit more generic and by that I just mean similar tasting. GR roll added another level of flavor. I followed with the dynamite roll which was also a step up but also a solid kick if you like the extra heat. You absolutely should get the pad Thai!!! I finally tried Soho sushi and I love their all-you-can-eat lunch deal! There's a wide variety of rolls to choose from including appetizers like gyoza, edamame, etc which is also part of the deal! I got the Tiffany and Michigan roll and both were amazing! The special rolls I got are bigger than the regular rolls and if you have a smaller appetite I recommend going for the regular rolls. At first, seeing the "All You Can Eat" sign, I was prepared for substandard sushi, but at the time I needed some food and sushi was a lighter option. From the time the first piece of sushi came til the last I was amazed at the taste, service and freshness of the fish. Being honest- soho is so-so. It's not bad. It's super reasonable in price. We still come here for that reason. But it's not excellent. It's solid mid range sushi, which sometimes you wanna make your dollar go farther. Always had good service and a clean table. read more

The owner Rita is very disrespectful to her employees, I know many people who's worked there and complained on how she yells at everyone and doesn't give hours but wants to hire more people. People constantly quit because of the horrible work environment. She cuts hours for her loyal good employees and gives them to new people. They're always late everyday but yells at everyone for being late. If you work at SoHo you have to have 2 jobs or else you won't be able to live. Even when the food we get here either dining in or delivery is sub par for SoHo... it's still sooo much better than most places we've ventured around the area as a whole. My wife's go to is and will always be the Tiffany rolls, but I tend to jump around and be a bit more adventurous each time I visit (fat boy this time). The restaurant itself is so cute inside and out and it could be be better placed in downtown GR area. We were seated immediately, but service took a long time since there was only one employee working six tables. While waiting, I noticed how sparsely decorated the dining room was, lacking personality and ambience. Despite this, the food we ordered (which took a while to come out) was pretty good. The chicken Katsu I ordered was crunchy and thin, with a slightly sour sauce paired with it, though I wish I had some veggies other than lettuce. The Pad Thai was decent but the noodles were a bit stuck together by the time it arrived. While this wouldn't be my first choice of dinner in downtown Grand Rapids, the food was decent and I will definitely keep it as a convenient backup option in the future. read more

The chicken tempura roll was the best, I have always wondered why chicken isn't more popular in sushi and was so excited to see it on the menu. Meijer and family fare sushi is better. The crab Rangoon are burnt like horribly. I work downtown and I know a couple people who prewarned me not to eat here but decided to try it anyways. I called the restaurant and they said I could have a refund if I brought the food back. I already drove back to work and not from the area so that isn't an option. Lo mein with shrimp comes loaded with large shrimp and they definitely give you a lot of food. Noodles were on the thicker side. They actually got better the more I ate. Ordered 2 special rolls- fancy salmon and crunch dragon. Both were very good. I would have probably ordered something different if there was an option on the menu but overall decent selection. This is the second time we have been to Soho Sushi- we have to make trips to GR to go to doctors appointments for our daughter and this is a little highlight to an otherwise no so pleasant reason to visit the city. The first time it was SO EASY ordering through Yelp I couldn't believe it and same the second time. They are super fast and Their pickup procedure during covid is awesome and efficient and then of course the food...SO GOOD! The shumai is my favorite appetizer and I always get a few rolls (I love the option to add on things to each roll!) my husband got a bowl that was so filling and flavorful the first time and the second time a shashimi platter that was great. All of the sushi was really great and the general tso chicken was perfect. My only issue is that there is a time limit which is only affected by the speed at which the food comes out. If everything came out super fast the time limit wouldn't mean much. Overall it is an amazing place and the best price/ayce I've been to. read more
