Unless you work nearby.. don't waste your time or money. New location is nestled deep in a plaza so it's hard to get to and have to park in a structure so you'll have to pay if you're waiting for your food longer than 15 min. Also, their app doesn't notify you of the new location and they don't ever pick up the phone. So needless to say.. this will be the LAST time I come here. I used to be a fan, but not after today's inconvenience made me waste my entire lunch break! Definitely not supporting them anymore. read more

Visited for lunch while in the office and the plan was to order a breakfast burrito but unfortunately it isn't served the whole day. Nevertheless, I asked the cashier for a suggestion and she told me the Natural was a great choice for vegetarians which I'll have to agree with her on. Loved the hummus and cheese in the panini, my only complaint was that it was slightly dry and could use more hummus or less lettuce. Otherwise, would definitely recommend and I hope to be back soon. read more

Its a good utility lunch place. You need food that in general is of good flavor and quality at a reasonable cost for the area. Well MJs is a good place. Things I did not like: out of the orders I place I think 3 out of 4 orders have been good and in general 1 always comes out off by something. I will not order avocado dishes anymore since two orders that had them I had to take the avocado out cause it look bad. Like black bad not sure if the person making the food just did not care or what was going on. For the positive. Service is in general good and on time. The place is clean and organized. The menu has enough choices for lunch where you can't get bored. If it was not for the avocado incidents they would probably get 4 stars. read more

I found when I was taking a walk from the hotel. It is a nice cafe in an office building. The menu is huge. I decided on the 1/2 sandwich with a cup of soup combo. It was huge. The MJ's club was delicious, and the chicken noodle soup was very good. I won't be here very long on this visit, but if I get a chance, I'll return. Post COVID they survived but have raised their prices akin to being in a Vegas hotel cafe. $10 for a breakfast sandwich ? Ridiculous and overpriced. They are the only option really since Specialties and Ambrosia shut down. I'd rather go to KIT and get a delicious coffee with food. read more

I used to buy lunch at MJ's probably 2-3 times per week. However, after we came back from Covid the prices went up (depending on which sandwich, it now costis about $17 for a take out sandwich and cup of soup) so I don't go as often. I decided to treat myself today and ordered a soup and whole sandwich combo listed at $10.95. I upgraded to a tuna sandwich and ended up paying $13.95. When I got my order it was a HALF a sandwich and cup of soup which is listed on their menu at $10.95. Why did I pay $13.95 for HALF a sandwich and a cup of soup? The employee said it's because I upgraded to tuna from the grilled cheese. Okay...but the grilled cheese combo would have bene a WHOLE sandwich? Why did I pay $13.95 for a HALF a sandwich and cup of soup that normally costs $10.95? Nobody could tell me and I didn't want to embarrass myself any further in front of the other customers. $3 may be a petty amount to be upset about but it really bothered me, especially since I'm a pretty regular customer. :( read more

Paninis are always amazing, and my coworkers love the salads and wraps. The protein smoothie is also delicious and filling. I work nearby and order here at least once a week. I recommend ordering ahead online as the lunch rush can get really busy here, and if you become a regular they even have their own iOS app. read more

Daaaaamn. Watching all the people behind the counter work to get the orders out during lunchtime rush is pretty awesome. The MJ's staff runs like a well-oiled machine. There are no wasted movements or people twiddling thumbs, that's for sure. I got the chicken bacon club sandwich, which came with a small container of delicious pasta salad. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the sandwich was jam-packed with so much good stuff. They used white bread by default, which is not my favorite because it tends to get soggy quickly (it did). But other than the bread, the sandwich was great. I also got a grilled cheese sandwich, which I didn't see listed on the menu, but you can create your own sandwich, so there you go. The grilled cheese was made with real cheddar and lots of it. It was a good, no frills sandwich. read more

This place is the pits. The service is bad and the people who cook/serve you are not clean. The food is mediocre i personally believe people go here because they are too lazy to pack a lunch, because the food here is bland and most times your order is not correct. The miserable old lady who is always there to take your order needs to retire, she has a very bad attitude, unhygienic and will ignore you. I work in this building and come here often for lunch. The food is always consistent. I have had several of their salads, sandwiches, panninis, etc and everything is fresh. I love how they have an app that I can order on, pay via apple pay, and walk downstairs and pick up my order within 15 minutes. It gets pretty busy during lunchtime I'd say from the hours of like 12 to 1:30 but they service everyone quickly. I have even ordered food from here for eight meeting and everyone enjoyed the sandwiches and I appreciate that they were able to help me out last minute. There are a few small tables and umbrellas for outside seating in the courtyard. My only complaint is that I wish that they were open a little bit later in the afternoon. I believe that their hours are until 2 PM. That is OK for lunchtime but sometimes if you are craving an afternoon snack they are not open. read more

This place is great if you work in the area since they have sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee. I got the California club panini and it was alright. The bbq chicken panini looked way better. The main highlight is the free peanut butter cookie so definitely check in on Yelp for it! If you let it bake in the sun for a while, the peanut butter is a bit runny, making the cookie warm and scrumptious. I recommend trying out their online ordering because there isn't a fee and it takes literally five minutes to get your order since I usually place the order online and then walk to the cafe and my order is always on the shelf! MJ's is probably the only establishment where I've actually met the namesake. I met MJ herself back in '09 when we studied abroad together. Awesome person and her family runs a solid little cafe. Tucked away in an office complex and with a lot of competition (Specialty's, Palazzo are a few) MJ's consistently gives me what I need. I love that I can create my own sandwich and pick and choose my toppings. No need to modify an already filled up sandwich. The prices are reasonable and you get a small cup of pasta salad with a pickle each time you grab a sandwich. And it's always a plus when you can get regular (non deli meat style) turkey and fresh avocado. read more

The breakfast burrito isn't bad. But the coffee here is terrible. I accidentally picked the wrong latte option for a iced latte. So when I got there and it was hot I asked of they can make it iced. But nope I had to spend extra 4-5bucks on a iced hazelnut latte and it was loaded with so much syrup, it was gross. The coffee quality isn't great. Maybe i'd come back for food but def will cross the street to Paderia for coffee. Shoot ill even take starbucks over this. read more
