Totally Disappointed in my experience Today. I have been to MKs several times over the course of years and today my experience was HORRIBLE. if you are unsatisfied with your meal (that is untouched) you still have to pay for your unwanted meal. Per the owner the food is cooked to order and she does not have food to waste and that this is not a buffet (her exact words). After telling thats fine ill pay for this meal we were still charged for the unwanted meal and the correct meal.Totally disappointed in customer service today from the waiter to the owner. read more

Love this place! Great food and the owner is a sweetheart. My family has eaten there for years and she always remembers our names and our favorite dishes. I've never had a bad dish. The spring rolls are on point. My only complaint is that it is a small place so sometimes you have to wait for a seat, especially on Sunday's. However, it's a great place. Best option we've found in Auburn-Opelika area for Chinese. Very solid menu and well prepared. Not a lot of dine in room or atmosphere, but food wise....a very good choice. I have to say that MK's is the best Asian place in the area. I think the primary reason for this is that the food is cooked to order, versus many of the other Asian places around here that are setup in a nauseating "buffet-style". Portions are slightly above satisfactory but not necessarily overwhelming. However, the quality of the food outweighs any con I can think of... and there really isn't any I can think of. Customer service was absolutely horrible! I work in tiger town and went to MK's for lunch. I ordered carryout so my food would be ready when I got there for my 30min lunch. The owner informs me that I cannot eat my carryout inside the restaurant and tells me to go eat outside. I was shocked and appalled by this. I will never return to this restaurant again. read more

The food actually taste the way that American's want and as an American I will testify that it's delicious. You will not be sorry you tried MK's. If they had a larger space they would do a booming business. I stopped twice and the few tables were full and space was at a premium but it was worth the wait. Maybe try a take-out first. i came here to try their lunch. i had a take out for two. from outside it looks very small and seemed like there isn't many people inside. i was little surprised b/c when i went there around 1pm...they were packed. i went up to the counter and order my food to go. i think she was the owner at the register and she was very nice and very helpful. the price for lunch is a bit pricy than other chinese restaurants in the area but i think the food was good and the service was great. read more
