A very humble island vibe near the beach...ignore the negative comments and go check them out. Chef Wesley is a true Jamaican who definitely didn't forget his roots and offer authentic Jamaican/Caribbean dishes. I was impressed with the Jerk Salmon and Jerk Chicken pasta nicely displayed. The waitress was very polite and very informative. A perfect place for a family night with kids or perfect date night. Excellent live music reminiscing the days I spent on the island just relaxing on the beach. So if you are ever near or drive by Sebastian go check out their delicious options. read more

Dinner for two. Great place we had the BBQ full racks and garlic parm mashed. No drinks. The ribs were dynamite. Tasty and meaty and served hot. Just like I like it. They also had cucumbers in special sauce served warm which were great. Overall prices were really reasonable for the amount of food. What's wonderful seaside restaurant mon'!The food is delicious! Went with a large group of 12 people and I surveyed them all. All 5! The sauce is so tasty. But this restaurant has a real Jamaican theme to it which was awesome. The chef came out and personally interacted with us and ensured we were well taken care of. I do have two small comments on this place. 1. They are in no rush at all. I think island time exists here so if your In a rush skip it till you have more time. 2. There wasn't really a "kids menu" at least that I knew of. They do have a basket of chicken fingers and fries which my one kid liked so that works. I wanna go back for dessert now. Absolutely delicious. I had the cobia fish cake and I have never had a fish cake but it was delicious. The chef perused the diners and that means a lot to me. You can tell he cares. My wife had the seared tuna salad and she loved it. The piece of tuna was so big she didn't finish the salad. I got a good tutorial on how to make a fish cake too. read more

I am so use to making reservations online and didn't think to call ahead when I didn't see the option to do so. We arrived a bit after 4pm on Saturday and they were busy. They accommodated our party of 4 which was a relief. My sister and her hubster were down from NYC area so I was eager to find a great place for dinner and Mo Bay Grill did not disappoint! We started with drinks. My BIL swears they make the best margaritas he has ever had. The piña coladas were good with a side of tropical ice tea. We started with sharing the blackened mahi-mahi salad. It was so good that my vegetarian dining partner ordered it for her main course. I ordered the whole fried red snapper with ginger. Note to self to ask for the sauce on the side because I like my fish crispy. It was great nonetheless, moist and flaky. My sis ordered the oxtail stew...meat fell off the tail, so tender and lots of flavor. Our server was excellent and gave great recommendations on everything from drinks to food and desserts. Even the coffee was awesome. To top the experience off there was live island music too. This is our go to spot from now on! Excellent! read more

We purchased multiple cards and at check out was told "1 per table". That was not in the stipulations. They called the manager and he had all kinds of excuses, but was no help. Jamaican food--excellent! I had a blackened grouper sandwich and a Red Stripe, and my son had curried goat. The fish was moist and tender unlike many Florida seafood places that overcook and over salt fish. The goat was very Jamaican--tender and savory. Fantastic menu. Friendly service. Came by for lunch on a weekday. They have fantastic lunch specials and even a prix-fixe menu that includes sangria:) I had the ginger martini.. ok I'll be honest.. I had 2. They were just so delicious. For my appetizer I had the daily soup which was crab bisque. I wish I got the bowl instead because it was incredibly yummy. For my main I had the blackened grouper sandwich. I think the only thing I would have changed was to have it grilled because the blackening seasoning was a bit too salty for my palette at the time. Server didn't tell us the specials, the she crab soup was luke warm, the conch fritters fried to hot and burnt. The shrimp on the kabobs were at room temperature and the whole snapper dry. Owner visited every table but our, so he may have known that there were issues. Regardless at this point I won't go back. read more
