It was a memorable experience. The wife and I just dropped off some food to the in-law in Vero and I was just looking for a place for Seafood along the way before reaching home in Palm Bay. I found this restaurant on Yelp with good rating to I called and requested for a reservation for two. From the get go, the staff were attentive. Destin, our server was extremely polite. The food were extremely well cook. I always bring my own salt and spicy hot pepper mix and I did not need it. We had the crab cake, Steak quesadilla, curry goat, Blacken Cobia Kebab, & Shrimp Scampi pasta. They are all very tasty couple with very attentive and polite staff. The Pasta in Shrimp Scampi were so good, we ordered the other pasta (cononut sauce angel hair pasta + blacken shrimp to go). Definitely found one of our favorite place to go. Definitely a step up from most of the restaurants along the Indian river. It is not right on the water but across the street so there is a view of the water. The establishment is clean and comfortable. Somewhat upscale in terms of the complication of the chefs creations and the attendant pricing. First time here, and I will definitely return. The menu was full of great choices... I decided on the Rum jerk shrimp kabobs (pictured) and was NOT disappointed! The flavors were unreal. Even though I was stuffed I managed to find room to try the coconut pie. Wow-Another winner! Such a great find of a restaurant in a time where a lot of places have gone downhill. Opens at 11, we were the second table in at 11:03 We were sat immediately and our server Jamal came over quickly. We ordered chicken tenders for my son, I had coconut chicken, my parents vegetable stew. Took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive, it was hot and delicious. The honey mustard for the kids tenders was so yummy. I devoured my meal, got rice everywhere but my son was sitting in my lap. This is a good halfway meet up point when my snowbird parents are down for the winter, so I can confidently say we will be back (and this time I'm going to try some jerk food because I am sad I didn't try any this past weekend). We are visiting Sebastian and read about this restaurant on our way down. We were excited to try it since it gets such great reviews, and were not disappointed! Our server, Toya, was AWESOME MON!! The specials menu was amazing - I had the hanger kabob. The meat was tender and succulent, the mashed potatoes were very good, and the veggies were different and good. My only complaint is there wasn't quite enough meat. We had 5 people all together. Husband had jerk mahi mahi plate with mashed sweet potatoes and veggies, friends had Jamaican beef patty, filet and jerk chicken pasta. Everyone LOVED their food. Mo-Bay is casual dining. It could use some updating as the booth seating is not very comfortable. Our waitress was okay, you just got the feeling she was doing the bare minimum and wasn't thrilled to be there. My hubby had the Mo-Bay Iron Sizzler with jerk chicken and he really enjoyed it. I ordered a special that wasn't on the main menu, which was a basket of shrimp, fish fillets, conch, French fries and coleslaw; it was supposed to have calamari, but the waitress came back and said that they had already run out of calamari for the day (SMH - we were eating pretty darn early for them to be running out of a staple). My entree was okay, but the fish fillets were definitely over cooked. Mo-Bay did have live music. Don't know that we'd bother returning the next time we are in the area. read more

Not only was the portion size small as hell but it was also tasteless. Should of just called this a bread sandwich on the menu and the frys were not even worth mentioning. We've eaten here in the past and the gourmet food is to die for, with very friendly service. The owner is also the executive chef and clearly takes serious pride in his delectable creations. The venue is calming, with tropical decor and light Jamaican music playing in the background, and the big windows give the dining area the appearance of being bigger, with a view of the Indian River inter coastal waterway. We decided to have lunch with my step daughter, her husband and kids. Our server, Gina, was so friendly, patient, and attentive throughout the meal. We started with yummy conch fritters which were lightly crispy and paired with a creamy sweet cherry remoulade sauce. My salmon on the nicoise salad was moist and perfectly cooked. My DIL had the seared tuna Niçoise salad. Both fish dishes were generously portioned. Our SIL had the shrimp and lobster special (all gone!), and my husband's fried flounder basket were all so delicious. We were up in Sebastian and friends recommended we try this place. Boy are we glad we did. We came in for a late lunch. The service was great. I cannot remember his name but our server was professional and friendly. I asked how spicy the jerk chicken was and was told not very. (I should really have explained that I am a total wimp when it comes to spice). I ordered the caesar salad with the jerk chicken and my boyfriend got the Curry Chicken. Both meals were very fresh and tasty. The jerk spices were a little spicy for me but so flavorful I kept trying to eat more and more. I tried the Curry Chicken and it was great with beans and rice and fresh veggies on the side that I really enjoyed. I would definitely return here. Today the meal was Jamaican and so good! We went with my in-laws and enjoyed - fisherman's platter, crab cake meal with sweet potato pancakes, jerk chicken sandwich with 2 sides and Mahi-mahi meal with sweet potato mash and veggies of the day. We all enjoyed our respective meals. My mahi-mahi was grilled to perfection with a mango salsa on top and the sweet potato mash was yummy. We all enjoyed dessert- key lime pie, coconut pie, banana rum cheesecake and rice pudding. Again we were all thrilled. Our server was Gina and she was very kind and attentive. Even took a photo for us. The owner Mr Campbell came out to all of the tables to say hello before and after our meals. Loved that he is so hands on. First, the service is absolutely spot on, they really know how to look after you there . My wife and I love just about everything on the menu, especially those jerk spiced baby back ribs , we've even had those moments when we get cravings for them, and Call In an emergency order for pick pick up. My wife loves The conch fritters, because they are amazingly light, which, compared to other places, I've had them is an amazing feet, because sometimes they can be as heavy as wet ball of clay. The seafood entrées are flavorful, fresh and beautifully plated. When we were there last, the table next to us had the whole fried red snapper, which made me a bit jealous, so I'm making sure to make it a point to have it next time.. One of my favorite gems in Sebastian. I've been before for breakfast and was hoping for some brunch but we missed it by an hour (breakfast from 8-12 on sat and 8-2 on sun). We decided on lunch and the place was packed! I had the grilled grouper sammie and my friends had the chicken tenders and jerk chicken salad. My sandwich was really good, great flavor and not too heavily seasoned. My friends loved their entrees and even took some home. The only issue I had was that our waitress was running past us (like literally running) and didn't check in that often. It wasn't that busy to where we couldn't get a drink refill unless we flagged her down. Also she threw the bill on the table and rushed off again. Like what?? So I think they need to work on that. We went with some of the specials they had that day which included a pecan grouper and blackened cobia skewers. We also had the blackened tuna salad, Jamaican patty, and a shrimp soup. Everything was exploding with delicious flavor, tasted super fresh and was presented beautifully. We're already planning to go up from Miami soon just to eat here again.
