Superb service- I watched the staff interact with every table with fondness. You can tell they get to know their diners. Adorable local diner. Good curries and jerk. Sides are ok. Also the conch fritters are good plus the cherry sauce is creative. Great location with parking available.

I was very surprised for all the right reasons by the small restaurant across the street from the beach. Service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. The Caribbean vibe was a nice break from our usual routine. The bartender was very skilled and can make anything you can dream of. If you're in the vicinity, it's worth your time to eat here.

Don't usually review but this place is My wife and I come here about twice a year for the last several years when we stay in the area and the service A+++ I believe our server name is Emmanuel; super knowledgeable about the menu and always gives good recommendations. The Blacken Salmon on curry sauce is incredible!! They also sale their hot sauce by the jar great in everything. Great island vibes!!

Parmesan encrusted haddock with lemon butter angel hair pasta

The food and service was excellent!! Wait staff were attentive and personable, clean inside and the food was spot on. Will be a repeat customer for a long time. If there was more stars, I would add them.

Blackened grouper sandwich with fries and cucumber salad

Very delicious. The food was well done. Nice job chef! We came for lunch, so I only had a blackened grouper sandwich. The flavors were balanced perfectly and it came with an absolutely delicious sauce. I even loved the side of cucumber salad. It was a different salad than what I'm used to but I loved it. Husband had one of the specials. Shrimp and anduille sausage with buttery grits. His was soo amazing. It had a tomato base. Wow, so good. You can tell that someone know how to cook in this restaurant. It was a little pricey for lunch. I will return again. Nice view of the river. The staff was very friendly.

The Food and service is excellent. The food is Jamaican with just the right spices. The Rum Jerk Shrimp kabobs are delicious and the presentation beautiful. The blackened Mahi Mahi with rice and beans was awesome. Margaritas are very tasty as is the Key Lime pie for dessert.

Authentic Jamaican/seafood restaurant with friendly servers and tasty food. A blackened grouper sandwich and a crab cake sandwich with 2 sides each, a carafe of flavored tea and water came to $50 with tip for lunch. Seafood entrees were pricy ($30-40) so not considered for lunch.

I picked Mo-Bay for my birthday dinner, and it didn't disappoint. Having experienced authentic Jamaican food before, I can say this was the real deal. I ordered the curry chicken while my wife had the crusted haddock--both were delicious. The service was great, the prices fair, and the ambiance made for a wonderful dining experience

Great location with views of the inlet and atmosphere with just ok food at high prices..The service was good however the authenticity of the flavors of Jamaican jerk and brown stew (what we ordered) just was not there. It was a decent portion of both with no distinction of the usual flavors of jerk or brown stew ...we ordered the jerk chicken pasta and brown stew chicken and a beef patty not even a fountain drink or cocktail and the tab was over $60 ...unfortunately won't be returning

My grouper was the best I've had in quite a while. Prices are very reasonable too. I definitely can't wait to come back again.

How do I make a reservation?

YES WE TAKE RESERVATION CALL 772-589-4223

Is this the type of restaurant where you can dress up some and not be "out of place"?

It definitely is. I actually felt dressed down a bit. You'll maybe even feel the prices are more normal if you 'put on your blue suede shoes' !

    Can you fine outside?

    Yes you can.

Any vegans eat here? What do you order? Can they make ala cart dishes like pasta with garlic and olive oil?

They have three vegan dishes on the menu which were all marked with a carrot. I got the Ital Stew which was very good - and very filling, we took some home. My husband got the angel hair pasta in coconut cream sauce which was also very enjoyable.… Read more

I had french onion soup and it had so much oregano (?) and onions in it, I couldn't eat it! The waitress seemed rushed from the onset of our experience, with only two other tables seated at the time when we arrived, and the extensive menu I would think they wouldn't rush you to order. It's a quaint area surrounding the restaurant with a nice park, ample parking and beautiful views of the docks and the water. it is a short walk from the restaurant, the restaurant is not on the water. Stopped in on a Saturday morning and immediately appreciated the Old Florida charm of this place…read more Country Ham N Egg has the kind of classic diner vibe I love--complete with a proper lunch counter, plenty of booths and tables, and even some outdoor seating. We were seated right away, and the service was spot on: quick, friendly, and never felt rushed. I usually judge a breakfast spot partly by their coffee, but I already had a fresh cup of homebrew in my Buc-ee's tumbler this time around and didn't want to waste it (Yes, I saw the "Absolutely no outside beverages" sign... and yes, I'll respect that on future visits. No one said a word, which I appreciated.) I did grab a giant glass of cranberry juice to go with my meal. I ordered the pork chop with two eggs over easy, grits, and an English muffin--and everything was cooked just right. The pork chop had perfect grill marks and was tender and flavorful. The eggs were exactly how I like them, and the grits... well, I can be a bit picky when it comes to grits, but these were spot on. Creamy, hot, and seasoned just right--hard to beat that. All in all, a great breakfast experience. Looking forward to coming back, and I'm curious to see what they've got on the lunch menu next time.

Only 5 pieces of potato were fried, the rest seemed like cubes of pale baked potato. The "steak" was more like a breaded hamburger, and tasted like it was past it's sell-by date. I left everything else on the plate. The waitress never asked if there was anything wrong, and I could plainly see she saw what was left on my plate. Even when I went to pay no one asked how everything was, as is customary in the food service industry. This place is 3 miles from my house, but I'll drive the 25 miles to the closest Crakcer Barrel from now on.
