    Long line, customers

For the entire month of JANUARY, they've been giving out FREE MINI PLATES! Just show them your coupon which can be found on IG! They give it right to you! Till Jan 31s! Yesterday they invited anyone and everyone to get free plates from 5-7pm at this location. The food is good and fresh! The staff are really nice and very giving! Big turn out! Thanks again!

I saw an ad on Instagram that this location was having a friends and 'ohana night where everyone gets a free mini plate so I pulled up around 6pm on Tuesday. The line was out the door, so I was scared how long the wait would be, but they were very efficient moving everyone through very quickly. They were giving out a free bottle of Teri sauce, stickers, soda, and spam musubi while we waited in line. The mini plate was pre packed without customizations, but that was fine becuase it made everything move very quickly. I will say, everything is usually super salty here, but it tastes so good and I loved how much time and effort everyone put in to having this special giveaway. I'll definitely be back!

First time trying the food here. We ordered two combo plates and tried the katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and another grilled chicken (forgot the name) which were all on top of a bed of raw shredded cabbage that took up a lot of space in the container. All the proteins were good except the other grilled chicken, which was extremely dry and honestly hard to eat. Both combo plates came with two small scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad. We took the food to go, and once we got home, we noticed there was no spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, or katsu sauce we asked for. That was definitely disappointing and took away from the experience. Overall, some items were great, but the dry chicken and missing sauces were a letdown. The cashier who took our order spoke very quietly, which made it a bit difficult to hear and understand her.

This was our second time visiting this location. Our first visit was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and the food was so good that we've been wanting to come back ever since. Unfortunately, our second visit wasn't the same experience. The service was very slow, even though there were multiple employees around and on the dining room floor. The girl who initially took our order was super friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the cashier with the pink hair was not very attentive. She rang up our order and then went to the back to chat with coworkers. We ended up waiting to pay because she left and the digital payment option wasn't available at the moment. When she came back, we let her know about the payment issue, and she almost mixed up our order with the customer next to us.

Aloha fellow Hawaiian food lovers! Me and my husband went and ordered two separate full meals which included all of the meat options. We added the steak to make sure we got a sample of everything. Every single item was absolutely delicious. The macaroni salad could have a little extra something, but it was still very good. The sauces were so good that we ended up buying two bottles of it. The service was friendly and efficient. And the store ambience was clean and inviting. We would definitely return and actually plan to for some more of that delicious teriyaki chicken which ended up being my very favorite. Mahalo

I still have regret that I couldn't try the oxtail soup or the sweet and sour spare ribs, but I'll be back. I got the combo plate with lau lau and Rry's fried chicken. The Lau Lau was very good: the meat was tender and I liked the taste of the Ti leaves. It was less seasoned than other Lau Lau I've had, but it's easy to add shoyu or salt to preference. The fried chicken was very good. The batter was shatteringly crispy and the meat was very juicy. To note though: it's not a Hawaiian fried chicken where it's marinated in soy/ginger first (like mochiko chicken), but more like a very good version of mainland fried chicken. Also, the Mac salad was very solid, My other regret was that they were out of malasadas. Apparently, they sell out pretty quick so I'm going to try to come close to 11 am next time to snag one.

This location was closer to me than Zippy's, so I opted for Pacific Island Taste. I am not someone who usually likes mac salad, but their mac salad was pretty good. I would check it out in person versus doordash as I assume that changes the quality of the food.

Menu offers a great selection of chicken, shrimp, steaks, salmon, ahi, pork, as well as Hawaiian plates, island favorites, fried noodles, and poke. I ordered my go-to for Dynamite Chicken Katsu (mini, $13.52), its crispy breaded chicken, meat is tender and moist, has amazing wasabi aioli and spicy sauce drizzle, very savory and wonderfully delicious! Served with tasty crab potato salad and kimchi. Also had Fried Noodles (mini, $7.28), the egg noodles are delicious, topped with chopped scallions and kamaboko (Japanese fish cake), it's really good! Spam Musubi ($4.16) is tasty! It does need sauce and there are condiments like soy sauce and hot sauce available on the table. For a lovely treat, they make the best Japanese Milk Pudding, it's delightful and not too sweet! I ordered a regular ($5.20) and tried Ube flavor ($5.20), both are yummy! Ube flavor is so good! The milk pudding has a delicate, silky, bouncy texture, and comes with a sweet Japanese syrup. The milk pudding on its own is so YUM! The syrup itself is very sweet, so only pour a little bit. They also have fun cookies on display locally sourced from The Cookie Bar. I tried Crème Brûlée Cookie ($4.50), it's a huge sugar cookie with a beautiful crisp glaze and is very sweet. MacDaddy Cookie ($4.50) is excellent, it has white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts, this one taste great! Service from Koltyn and Zadus is very kind, welcoming, polite, and friendly!

The rice was fluffy, the mac salad was creamy and balanced, and everything together just felt like a solid, satisfying plate. No shortcuts, no watered down flavor, just good food done right. Vegas has a LOT of Hawaiian BBQ spots, but hands down...this is one of the best, if not the best I've had out here. So yeah, don't come here expecting vibes. My son took one bite and said it was disgusting- No musubi sauce and tasted like it has been sitting for a while. Like just make them fresh if they're gonna sit all day. I also decided to haphazardly order a very sad and pathetic side of Mac salad that didn't taste like anything. 2 OG musubi and a side of Mac salad for $11 that went straight into the garbage. We got the Coach Bojay which is half robust garlic chicken half galbi, which comes with 2 scoops of rice and mac salad. The garlic chicken is quite delicious, a bit less garlicky than I expected, with a really good sauce. The galbi is also good, but not the most tender. It was a little burnt but otherwise they gave a generous amount. I took off a star for the rice as it is quite mushy. We also tried a hot dog musubi which is really good - there is a bit too much rice so we allocated some to mix it with the delicious sauce from the robust garlic chicken to fill ourselves up further. His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
