Tiny little baby deli on the edge of Belmont and San Carlos border, nice peeps serving up some seriously nice quality deli goodness. Tiny shopping center on El Camino Real with baby parking lot, lots of street parking free on the boulevard. I ordered the Sanburger 2 and chocolate croissant. Words cannot do the sammie justice, except that it's a dang Big Mac, but no burger and healthy! Whaaaaattt???!! Yes, you read that right. I want to eat this sammie everyday. Recommendation, get the sammie as they serve it for the Big Mac replica effect. There are Sanburgers 1-5. The one I ordered is 2, roast beef. They melt the American cheese on the sliced roast beef, then placed on the sesame seeded bun with shredded lettuce, mustard, MO's special sauce and lots of lovin'. When I took my first bite, I said out loud, "Am I eating a Big Mac?!" Very creative are these folks. The chocolate croissant speaks for itself. It's fully loaded flaky croissant goodness and it's huge! Head over to Mo's for an excellent sammie experience! Plan for to-go as it is very tiny, however, there are tables and outside area, too. I stopped by this newish cafe on my way to the Belmont Farmer's Market. Parking was easy and when I entered, the owner warmly greeted me. It's a cute place with counter-style seating inside with a few tables & chairs outside. The space was clean and organized. I kept my order simple because that's how I roll: Americano with a little almond milk and a plain bagel with egg, avocado, and cheddar cheese. It was a basic order and hit the spot. I would definitely return and give one of their lunch sandwiches a try. read more

I went to the store first time bc my nail tech ( next door) told me they got a very good sandwich. I liked it but it was a little too sour to me. So next day I ordered from DoorDash and tried the roast beef sandwich which I liked it much better. They didn't have a peanut butter croissant so I got a chocolate one. Quick stop to pick up lunch and try out the new spot. PSA for any new restaurant, give them a few weeks to get into their stride. You wouldn't want your performance review given right after you started a new job, right? That said, happy to say I didn't have any issues on their 4th day of soft opening (yay!) Definitely get the Turkish coffee for here if you can. Unique presentation and perfect level of cardamom. And the pic is legit, steam isn't photoshopped. The sandwiches were fresh and had a hefty amount of meat. I got the Dutch crunch for both and would get the same combo again. Pro tip: if the lot is full you can park in 5th street which is parallel to the shop and take the stairs down for quick access (assuming mobility isn't an issue). I have real affinity for breakfast entree's and Mo's serves breakfast all day! Mo's Special Bagel: 4/5. With cream cheese, egg, cheese, turkey, avocado, and arugula. **Beware -- dishonest owner and poor service.** I ordered a veggie sandwich online (which listed avocado and red onion, along with other ingredients). When my husband picked it up and brought it home, both were missing -- especially disappointing since I chose it *for* the avocado. I called right away, and the owner (Ahmed) offered a full refund or to add avocado if I returned. I dont stay in the neighborhood so I opted for a refund. The owner said I would have to come to his deli to collect refund so said I'd come by later. It was strange because usually it's very easy and doable for restaurants/delis to refund the payment via phone, for the mistake they make, especially the ones that are made online. When I showed up, he changed his story, claiming his staff told my husband they were out of avocado -- which my husband denied. Then Ahmed said *he* heard the conversation himself. If that was the case, I wonder why he left that out during my call with him in the morning and contradicted what he told me earlier. The worst part - He went from agreeing to refund the entire sandwich to handing me just $2.50, saying that's the cost of missing avocado. He again, contradicted his promise from earlier. Did he really think I drove all the way for $2.50 cash? I left giving him $2.50 back, because clearly he needed it more but the experience was dishonest and frustrating. Also, from the couple bites I had, the sandwich was slathered in mayo and ketchup -- not good at all. Never ordering from here again. read more

Decor: Very sleek and modern, exactly what you would want to see at a sleek modern high end sandwich shop. There are a few high tables to sit at inside and a few outside tables as well. Food: I got the Pastrami Supreme and a Dubai Croissant. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The Pastrami Supreme had an excellent balance between the fattiness of the pastrami and swiss cheese combined with a wonderful tang from the pepperoncini and a delightful bitterness from the arugula (which was suggested by the gentleman working there). The Dubai Croissant was also extremely delicious. The knaffeh in the middle added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully against the doughy texture of the croissant. Combined with the wonderful chocolate drizzled on top and the fruit on the side it was absolutely heavenly. Service: I came in during one of the less busy times of the day and so I had an absolutely delightful conversation with one of the guys working there. The food was made relatively quickly and the conversation flowed as naturally as a dancer in motion. I got a Kickin Chicken sandwich (doesn't have chicken btw, it's smoked turkey). For a deli place, the bread and meat was bare minimum quality, especially for the price I had to pay here. Bread was stale and hard, not fresh at all. Probably the same quality bread you'd get at a regular grocery store. Meat wasn't that great either. Sandwich had 3 thin slices of meat. It didn't taste bad, but you can tell the meat isn't fresh or in house, but just regular grocery deli meat that was probably a brand like Boars head. I'd avoid the sandwiches here if you're craving a "true" deli style sandwich. read more

Tried their sanburger with Boar's head chicken slices and halloumi cheese which is a hollowed out bagel with lots of fixings. Very good. I tried their tabouli, prepared with cumin, which gave it a different kick. Variety of juices including pomegranate, mint lemonade and more. I found this amazing deli by accident! I was going to a 49er party and needed to bring sandwiches, and the deli that I was going to go to was closed. I spotted Mo's because it has very bright lights, and it caught my eye. It will now be my go to deli and cafe! I ordered about 10 sandwiches, and everyone at the party was asking where I got them from because they were so delicious . They were packed full of meat and had very fresh ingredients inside! I actually came back because I saw they have a full breakfast menu. I had an iced latte and a Mo's special bagel. It had cream cheese, eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula and a generous portion of avocado. My friend had something called a sanburger. I don't remember what was inside, but he said it was amazing! Next time I go, I will try their dessert called the Dubai croissant. It is their featured dessert. It has pistachio butter stuffed in a croissant with chocolate. I will definitely come back to try a few different things on the menu . This deli is an amazing addition to Belmont! I got a Dubai croissant, sandwich and a vanilla latte and all were delicious. The sandwich was packed with lots of meat and toppings, and big enough for my husband and I to share for lunch and still feel full. The Dubai croissant was really unique - definitely worth a try. The owner was also super kind and knew I had wanted to try the sea salt caramel latte and and made one for me to try, which was delicious too. I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I had to for this deli. I was surprised at the level of service I got at a sandwich shop. I watched him carefully prepare and stack every ingredient, asking specifics about my preferences, and really focus on just making every item just right for me. Also, this sandwich shop was open early! If you have to grab a sandwich on the go (like a road trip) this deli opens earlier than other sandwich shops, and you can even grab a quality cup of coffee.
