They charged my card, I didn't realize they did not give my daughter the receipt, so she went back in to retrieve the receipt. I noticed the total was off from what we normally pay. They added a fee that I was not made aware of and was never previously charged this fee. No apology, I was told it's a "new policy" and it's a fee for using the products. How is anyone supposed to know that when you request for a shampoo blow dry & style, you need to pay additional for the shampoo, conditioner & styling products? You would think that in a service that is called a "Shampoo Blow dry & Style that this would be included. It's unfortunate, I liked our service provider, Brianna but the customer service or lack of customer service is the reason I decided to cancel the remaining appointments. The girl that canceled my appointments did smile while doing so and was happy to cancel them for me. Very disappointing.

I should've known something was off because she had me faced away from the mirror the entire cut, which I thought was so odd. Typically, I leave a salon feeling better about myself but left this place ready to cry. I was also charged $25 more than what my friend pays for this stylist, but I should've confirmed her price on the phone. The staff are pleasant, the salon is clean, and Reid was very nice--hence the two stars. But I should not have been so hasty and should have just waited for an appointment with my regular stylist at Fresh Salon. Do not recommend and will not return.

I spoke with Mare, who's amazing by the way, and she suggested I try Ashiatu massage. I had never heard the term before. "Ashi" means foot. Therefore, it's a barefoot massage that involves using bare feet to apply strokes, assisted stretching the muscles. It's freaking awesome. I'm totally weirded out by feet, but I needed this. It the room looks all BDSMish, but it's totally not. She uses drilled poles to steady herself. I was so apprehensive but excited at the same time. Mare's sweet disposition put me at ease. I really valued my experience because I didn't think about her bare feet. I was relieved and listened to the flute and waves. If you're open and want to try a different type of massage, then this is a viable option. Did I mention they take FSA/HSA, too? Check of their list if serves.
