Super, super happy with Luis and his bartenders. I had never hired a bartending service before and did some shopping around. Luis was one of the first to respond and made a great case for why he was the perfect service for our wedding. He sat down with us in person and went over our plans, we talked ideas for signature cocktails and he drew up a shopping list for us to use to make sure we had all we need for a fabulous offering of libations to our 130 guests. He brought some really terrific and creative ideas to the table, was always responsive to questions and checked in regularly in the weeks leading up to the event making sure everything was ready to go. He came to the venue the night before to make sure everything was set up ahead of time. Then showed up early on the day of and had two competent and friendly bartenders who served our guests with a smile the entire night. He even spent a fair amount of time with us on the day of the event despite the fact that he had two other events booked on the same day. Every one was super happy with the service. As a bonus, all of Luis' bartenders are fluent in Spanish, which comes in really handy if you have a lot of guests who are not fluent in English. :-) A great benefit of hiring Luis is that he creates a customized colorful menu of your signature cocktails to fit the theme of your event. I was blown away by the sign he designed for us. Could not have been more perfect. Highly recommend Luis and his company. Super professional, communicative, punctual and with unbeatable prices. If I could give Mobar 10 stars I would! My family recently booked Luis for our fathers 75th birthday, and it was absolutely the best investment! Luis helped me plan a custom drink menu for our dinner party. Our menu was so special and personalized to match our father's nicknames. Our party was right in the middle of the busy winter holiday season- I appreciate how easy he made the process. The adults enjoyed his flavored fill and classic cocktails. We hired Luis after seeing him at a virtual Yelp event. I was excited that he was available for my engagement party and could provide both bar and coffee service. Communication with Luis was too good to be true... and that is how it turned out. It was truly too good to be true. My biggest issue is that we had corresponded about a menu the week of the event and he even showed us a sample which was beautiful. We agreed on a few signature drinks to avoid the back and forth with the guests. Turns out, we never saw a menu at the event and guests complained that it took a while for drinks to be made. We agreed that there would be passion fruit mixer (my absolute favorite) and he said it was popular and had run out. I think maybe it was so popular it ran out before my event because me or my guests never tried it. I was also told that there would be 2-3 bartenders but Luis showed up on his own. I'm a little disappointed by these mishaps (lack of menu bar/coffee, lack of extra 1-2 bartenders, lack of agreed upon mixer, lack of protective safety shield--more so for his safety) but overall appreciated his service and his vibe. Things I liked: good communication, wore a mask, arrived on time, sent contract in a timely manner. Guests loved him. read more

We ordered a special drink they had called adel-licious (I think-they named it after a customer who created it) which is an iced latte with vanilla, lavender and mocha with oat milk. I got an iced vanilla and lavender oat latte. The barista hooked us up and gave us both large sizes! Definitely appreciated the hospitality! My family and I fell in love with this coffee shop! They have amazing flavors (honey lavender, golden latte, and dirty chai) all delicious iced or hot! The owner has a weekly night market on Wednesdays, hosting many small businesses. On Sundays he has this amazing vegan food truck to go along with your coffee. We booked Mobar for my grandmother's memorial of life. Everything was set Luis had been contacted and when we showed up to the reception there was no bartender to be found. No bartender ever showed up and we had to have a family member bartend instead. After we sent a text to Luis he answered back an hour later saying that they assumed we no longer needed the service. You would Luis would have called and sent someone over right away as our celebration went on a lot longer or tried to remedy his mistake in some way. It's disappointing as we were all looking forward to having such a cool experience for our guest during such a delicate moment.
