DO NOT COME HERE. I came here to get and oil change on 2/22 and after I left my Subaru immediately started juddering and making noise underneath the car. I went back the next day and they only checked the engine area and not under my car and told me it's probably because of the gas I use (idiotic and for a mechanic to blatantly lie knowing I don't know much about cars is disgusting.) I had repairsmith come and look today and discovered that this place had drained my transmission. They were not supposed to touch anything that did not have to do with an oil change. Swung by here when a family member needed an inspection done and the place they usually go is closed. They have a separate line for inspections vs services like oil changes and such. It takes around 10 minutes per vehicle and all in all took around 40 minutes here. Not bad, not great, but everyone was nice and it was somewhat busy. They are fair and have a nice seating area outside under a big shade tree. read more

Stop by on a Sunday for a quick oil change. The staff is nice and the waiting room was clean, and clean restroom. Even though is a quick oil change, the people were super friendly and quick about the service. And the service they recommended were badly needed and no high pressure sales. Which is great !!! I just got back from an oil change here and the service is like NOTHING I've ever experienced before at an oil change place (in a good way). Had the WEIRDEST thing happen today: so I'm in line for an oil change, my car is idling but not on (because why waste gas, right), my turn comes up, I start my car so I can move it into the garage... The battery is dead and the car won't start. Right there in the middle of the queue in the driveway. Talk about bad timing, right? Well the manager Andreas and his staff comes out, helps me push it through to the other side and gives it a full inspection of all fuses including the battery free of charge. He rules it's probably a battery issue since mine was super old, recommends I get a cheap one somewhere and install it and see if that fixes the problem, and if not he told me he'd reccomend an electrician to check it and that he knew a guy he could refer me to. So my boyfriend picks me up by my dead car, we get a battery from around the corner but I don't have the tools handy or know-how to install it, I ask Andreas if he can do it for a fee... He tells me "naw, I'm gonna teach you to fish!", Brings out his tools and not only lets me use them gives me a full tutorial on how to install the battery in my car... TOTALLY free of charge. Sure enough, that was the issue and it solved the problem. The fact that the battery had died then and there had nothing to do with him and battery installation isn't even a service they technically provide, wasn't his problem at all and he COULD have told me to just call and have it towed and let someone else deal with it... But instead he gave me a hand free of charge. I'll never forget that! Once I was good to go I asked about getting my oil changed finally and he not only did it quickly but gave me a discount on the synthetic oil my car needs. And it didn't end there: I went outside to pick up my car, he noticed the caps around the lights had some erosion from being left in the sun and he offered to scrape some of that off too, again for free as a demo (he said fixing it fully would cost money but he'd make it cheap and just wanted to show me how it would go, but didn't pressure me to having anything done). Whatta GUY! The attached photo is of a sign hanging from above their register as I checked out so I knew I was in a good place run by good people. The verdict: Austin COMPLETELY EFFING RULES as a city and this oil change center embodies that same spirit, VIVA AUSTIN and VIVA this oil change place, I never want to get my oil changed ANYWHERE ELSE for as long as I live! read more

Manager and owner of Mobile 1Rapid: Today I got there for an inspection, I waited in line for like 50min when it was my turn I gave him the old insurance that recently expire on dic. I told him if I could show him a pic. The inspector said yes. But he kept on telling me to hurry up that he didn't have time( in a bad way, not nicely at all) Cuz of the line. So I told him that I was going to pull over to the side so he can get tue next in line while I'm waiting for the picture of my insurance. When I got it I go back to him and he said that I had to go back in line, after I waited for like an hour. I asked him if I could speak to his manager and he said he was the manager. Then another guy name Mario told me that he was the manager laughing in my face. I know thta neither of them were managers cuz the way they treated me and I ask someone else, the other guy told me that the managers name is Angel and he wasn't there. So I couldn't talk to the actual manager. Really disappointed with this place I have been going there for years, not going back. The inspector who never told me his name and Mario, I hope someone sees this and actually teaches you how to treat customers... read more

I have to say that even though I spent more than I originally planned getting an oil change today because of my special car, I am glad I went where I did. Let me know I also had a headlight out and got that replaced. Told me I needed a transmission flush and explained how they were going to do it and why it would be done that way. Then We found out they couldn't do it, again because of my special car, because they didn't carry what my car needed. Jaime gave me a recommendation on what to do and what to expect. They were very honest and broke down what all the fees were, when replacing my lightbulb, he showed me before he took the bulb out that it was out, wiggled it around, then pulled it out and showed me the bulb. Any little thing, the showed me and explained what was being done and why. Probably the best experience I ever had getting an oil change. Hector got me in quick and Patrick told me I had a bad air filter changed it real quick and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Awesome service and clean facilities. Technician failed my vehicle inspection claiming it didnt go into park. I walked over there and put it in park first try, nothing wrong with it. He got pist off after I showed him. They charged me $18 for nothing. Never going back here. Go somewhere else, after I left I got my vehicle inspected on Burnet Rd and they passed it right away. read more

Stopped by for a Rapid Lube and that just what I got. I noticed it was quicker than usual. These people didn't add washer fluid didn't top off the antifreeze didn't reset the oil light and when I got home and looked my oil filter had not been replaced. read more

This is the worst place to take you vehicle for oil change. If there was a way to not give a single star that's what I'll rate this place. About a month ago (9/20/20). I took my car to get an oil change on the way home, car engine started knocking and die on IH-35. I got off and check what the issue was and notice oil dripping off button bolt. Oil had completely leaked out, I called the place and they sent out one of the techs and he notices as well as I did engine was gone to s*^*h since it was ran with no oil. He asked me to have a tow truck take it to there place and they will pay for tow. When I got to the shop they said they'll give me a call Monday when manager was in to see what would happen since they had to contact there insurance. 3 weeks pass by Victor called that my vehicle was ready. Let alone does 3 weeks I was stuck careless due to this retards not been careful and doing there job right. When I went to pick car up, first thing I notice is the engine is of a junkyard, whatever I let it slide since it sounded out, as I go start it on I turn the ac on and of curse come to find out NOW the ac doesn't work. So I get a little upset and talk to manager again he try's saying the ac was never touch and that it never work making up all this lies and excuses, and me been a certified HVCA TECH could tell right again they haven't charge the unit back with Freon and the compressor was never wired up. So whatever he brings it in bay and hooks up the gauges and sure enough the unit has no Freon. After charging it he goes and try's turning ac on but it's not kicking on so he starts checking fuses hoping for a miracle. Eventually he gives up and gives me a piece of paper with and address to drop car off at car electrician specialists. So as I'm pulling out the bay and hit a bump my whole right side suspension pops hard again it never did this before I drop car off. So I get of and go look for this Victor guy right away he notice I'm back and just keeps on his business ignoring me for almost 10 mins. Eventually I get so piss and walk up to the guy and tel him I'm not taking this car nowhere and I have no reason to be dropping it of places when it wasent my fault the ac don't work and to top it off not my suspensions sounds like s"*t. And again this guys starts lying and saying well how do I know you all this stuff didn't work before you brought it in. If you were doing your dam job right you would of taken notes on what did and didn't work and would of know my ac work fine and my suspension didn't pop or sound like it was about to break down. Secound thing he said and I know wel was a lie is the front suspension was never touch. When you pretty much have to move the shaft since the car is a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, To be able to remove engine. A week later they called the car was ready sure ac work good but no suspension was fixed and wasn't going to get fix I decided to take vehicle since I have decided to hire a lawyer to take care of this. I showed up on a Sunday afternoon for a state inspection. There was one car ahead of me when I arrived, so when the guy said I was done so soon, I was worried I might've failed! But nope, they were just very quick and efficient. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly. And I love the patio deck under the oak tree for a waiting area. Paid $15 for my SUV to be hand washed ! They have a lot of employees that each look at your car so nothing is missed. Even after washing they go back with spray and a towel and look at the car at every angle to make sure it's all perfect ! I will never go to genie car wash again! read more

I feel cheated. Took my car in for inspection and it was rejected for defective gas cap. I wen to another location 5 minutes away and it passed. The customer before me was a woman also and she had to buy windshield wipers. The man after me passed with no problem. I wonder how many other women had to buy something before their inspection passed. read more
