This location came highly recommended by all the other shops I called that don't offer inspection stickers, and even one that does do inspections was too busy and told me, "search for a Mobile across from liberty tree Mall. They're really good." Literally at least five different businesses told me about this Mobile on Endicott Street. Make sure to call first, just in case, that's what all the businesses told me to do. Tony did my state inspection on my car today, and oh my goodness, I was a mess trying to figure out how to drive this Mercedes-Benz GLB 250. It was so bad that I was literally shaking when I got there because this is my first time having a luxury vehicle and I didn't know how to use anything. Most people drive their cars before buying them, but I got mine from Carvana and I don't recommend that. I highly recommend coming to this shop. He literally taught me where all the buttons were because everything is so different with the Mercedes. Tony, thank you so much! Very dishonest place, they will rip you off, stay away. I went to pump gas the guy came running outside to tell me the pump wasn't working so I needed to go inside and pay and he would pump for me. Pump per gallon was advertised at 2.15 he charged me 2.79, when I told him I wanted to be credited he told me he couldn't do it and I should go inside and get a drink to compensate for the extra charge Meanwhile I purchased 15 gallons of gas. I wanted to give Zero stars, but couldn't. I went in to get my car inspected. I left 40.00 in my cup holder (I know - my bad) - but it was gone 10 minutes later when they finished! They also went inside my storage bin between the front seats and took a five dollar bill out of a little altoid tin I had there for small change! Can't prove it .., but sure as hell, they took it. I have used this Mobil station for years to get my car inspected. In 2013 I noticed a new owner/manager was at the garage. I drove my newly purchased used Kia up to get my required safety inspection conducted. This man does the job himself and comes out and tells me that my car has failed inspection, (my new car, purchased from a dealership down the street) He says the wipers are broken, but I can buy new ones from him and if I replace my wipers I can get my passed inspection. So I purchase the wipers. When it comes time to pay, he charges me $95; $35 for the state inspection and $60 for the wipers. I was ticked off but hey, I passed and now I have super duper new wipers! So I go to get my car inspected today, same car, same super duper wipers; which worked the bomb during Monday's torrential down pouring rain. He, the low life lying scum bucket takes my car into inspect it, and comes out and says, you failed inspection. Your wipers are broken and need to be replaced. Now I know this is a scam and I tell him in no uncertain terms I know he is a scum bucket lying jerk and to give me my inspection sticker and stop his scamming. He pulls my car out of his garage with a big huge RED R sticker. I am ticked off. As I drive away he tells me I can buy wipers across the street and to come back and he will re-inspect my car and give me a valid sticker. As I drive away, I activate my super duper wipers only to find that the clamps on both wipers were broken off, the rubber was torn from the arms and the metal C curve of the arms of both wipers scraped across the glass of my windshield. Not only did this man attempt to scam me, he damaged my car to validate his scam. I have contacted Mobil Corporate, I have written this same review on Google, and now here. My experience with Danvers Mobil is quite lengthy. I made one purchase there, about two years ago. I have spent the last year attempting to hold the douche-weasel who operates the station accountable for the judicial judgment I won against him for unfair and deceptive business practices. He appears to have thought that establishing an LLC would indemnify him any consequences of the manner in which he conducts business. Similarly, he claims here on Google and if you're standing with him in the station that a guy named Sam is or was or will be the owner. A deception. (I have the corporation papers on file from the town.) The twerp fraudulently sold me a car he did not own, claiming that the "title printing machine" was temporarily out of order. (There is no such thing. I knew that then, but he already had my money.) As it turned out the car was not roadworthy. But the guy promised to fix it such that it would pass the state safety inspection, as long as I allowed him to perform the inspection. They do not know how to diagnose and fix cars there. If the check engine light is on, he will sell you a new gas cap, palming it in his hand while screwing the old one back in place. There is a repair bay, but no mechanic. I went in there nearly every day for a month and sometimes he'd tell me I could wait; sometimes he'd say to leave the car and pick it up later and, at 6pm, the car was where I'd left it in the lot untouched and the guy would LITERALLY PRETEND I WAS NOT STANDING THERE in front of him asking whether anyone had repaired the car. On many occasions he would make up fanciful transparent lies, for NO REASON, when I had not even asked a question, and when there was no discernible incentive for him to lie nor to mislead in any way. He evidently just could not help it. Do not even go into this place for a Coke or a pack of cigarettes. There are plenty of cheaper gas stations nearby, so don't buy gas here and, for God's sake, don't even think about buying a car from these folks. I will spend my judgment collecting evidence to donate for the forthcoming criminal investigation and, hopefully, trial. The owner is dishonest. I would not return here. I took my car to get my tires aligned and was told it was going to be $59.00. When I pick it up, they tell me that they had to replace a part and it's an additional $89. They never called me to ask if it was okay to replace the part. I doubt that they even replaced it. I have taken my daughter's car here 3 times. When you find an honest shop, you keep going back. In my first experience, the windshield wiper fluid was not working. Another place had given me a $300 quote for a new pump. Tony, the owner, looked at it and told us that someone had poured water in the container and it was frozen.
