Mobile Kangaroo was not the best. if you have an Apple product just go make an appointment with apple and take it there. They tell you almost right away what is wrong with your product, while Mobile Kangaroo charges a $65 diagnostic fee. I took my laptop which turns out needed a display replacement and they wanted to charge me about $100 more than Apple charges. Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion at Apple and am happy to let them fix my laptop instead of Mobile Kangaroo, but Iost $65. I won't say that they don't know what they are doing because Im sure they do, but it's more expensive. I will say though that the staff was helpful and polite. read more

People were welcoming, however told me over phone it would be about 200 dollars for a service to the battery for MacBook Pro. Turns out it needed 900 dollars of service for additional items. Not a big deal, I would just not go with the service and only pay the check fee....but then they lost my laptop charger as well. Smh. After having the worst experience at another shop, I messaged Mobile Kangaroo before stopping by, and they got back to me in less than 20 minutes. Went in the next day and Zach replaced the battery on my iPhone 5 in just 30 minutes. He even took the time to show me the manufacture date (11/2015) on the new battery after I told him about the nightmare I dealt with before going to them. Not helpful at all, I brought in MacBook Pro for reaper of an unknown lock. Charged me 40 dollars. I drive 50 miles back and forth 4 times. Always say it has been taken care of, then nothing changed the laptop was still useless. Won't even give a refund for their unprofessional services. Ahh this place saved my life! I had cracked and shattered my iPhone 6 screen...if anyone has ever gone through this before, you'll know it's completely heart breaking! I had made an appt at the Apple store to get my screen replaced, but the appt wasn't for another 3 days! (Apple's price for replacement of an Iphone 6 screen is $109+tax) Being the impatient person that I am, I called around to at least 10 different places and got quotes and Mobile Kangaroo was the most affordable/reasonable price! $99+tax for a replacement of an Iphone 6 screen! They already had the screens in stock (no waiting!) I just popped into their store in East Sac the same day and in less than 30 minutes, I had a brand new screen! Ahh, you don't know how good it feels to not stare at a shattered screen that reminds you every time, how stupid you are to not have used a case on the phone. (Who am I kidding, I probably still won't put a case on it muahaha) On top of their very reasonable price, they have a Yelp deal! $10 for $25! So in total, I paid $90 to have my screen replaced...way cheaper than the Apple store. They provide a 30 day warranty on their service as well. Hopefully I won't ever have to visit them again, but if I do happen to crack my screen again, I am definitely giving them a visit again; and I highly recommend everyone else to go here first! read more

The resulting list of nearby Apple service centers also conveniently included first available appointment times. Way to move up the sales funnel, Apple! Once hilarity passed at the obscenely long wait times listed for most results (ahem- a WEEK Apple? Please.), I clicked on this yet unknown to me Mobile Kangaroo Authorized Apple Repair listing that had an available appointment only about 90 minutes from then... far and above the most timely and, get this, less than five minutes from home! Sweet! I was promptly greeted upon arriving. A FREE, polite, professional consultation and quick inspection ensued, where he explained to me my options to get through this issue. I was then able to make an informed decision, literally SAVING ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!!!!$$$$ This rep/tech treated me like how I desire to treat my customers. I overheard another customer's reaction to the results presented by the other rep/tech, and Bingo! Another good dude. As a result this business has earned a customer for life! 5 stars! From what I could find, best prices in the Midtown/Sacramento area! I had my iPhone 6 screen replaced today and was able to drop it off and pick it up while on my 1 hour lunch break. I also took advantage of the Yelp coupon to get a $15 discount and my total came to $80 and some change. After several iPhones I was finally the victim of a shattered screen. I took it the mobile kangaroo and Nazar was super helpful! It was done in 40 minutes and I was able to use my yelp coupon on services which was awesome. He was honest when I inquired about a screen cover and told me it wouldn't stop it from shattering but was more for scratches. Bottom line- Nazar was helpful; it was quick and it was much less than my insurance deductible from AT&T. When I call the number listed on their website, on the apple support website, or on yelp, it just rings for days no voicemail either. I found another number, 916-456-4426, they answered. They didn't have any loaner phones available and said they would call when they received one (they didn't). They said they would call when my phone was in (they didn't, or they called from a third number and didn't left a voicemail). And on top of that, they charged me $40 more than what it would have cost to bring it into the apple store (or to mail it to apple). Very frustrating experience. read more

My iPhone was have battery issues so took it to Mobile Kangaroo to have the battery replaced. When they opened the phone up they discovered there was some water damage and let me know the battery was OK but the circuitry was bad and they advised against repairing the phone. I appreciate their honesty as they could have done the repair and sent me on my way only to have problems down the road. Many business just want your money and don't care about customer satisfaction but Mobile Kangaroo is the exception. If you're in need of iPhone repairs I would recommend them highly. FYI, they do charge more than the Apple store but instead of waiting days for an appointment at Apple I was able get my phone in the same day. Awesome! After having my iPhone 5 stolen :-( I was blessed to receive a 4 from a wonderful friend. Unfortunately my daughter dropped the phone and cracked the screen. Oh the luck! Anyhow we did a yelp search for screen repair and a few different options came up. I called on a few to get price info and was quoted about $80-$90 to repair. I just wasn't willing to pay that much. I happened to be in east Sac today and had remembered researching a shop there. Do I immediately went to my Yelp and found the place. They had great reviews and also had a $10 for $20 Yelp deal. So I found the shop, showed the guy my phone and informed him of my deal. He was super friendly and told me he could have it done in an hour. Sweet! With my deal, I was out the door for $52. Score!
