Scott , the mechanic called shortly thereafter and we arranged for him to pick up a battery and install it. Scott was very friendly and efficient. All good. On the negative side: I wish Scott had been wearing a mask, as I was. In this environment it is a necessity. Also, the procedure for making payment was rather twitchy. He suggested one method, which didn't work for me, but then we settled on PayPal. He had to download the app on the spot and then we weren't sure that it was working. All of this could have been avoided if payment would have been explained up front, rather than "on the fly", so to speak. All in all it worked fairly well and I know how small businesses are struggling during this pandemic. What problems I encountered should easily be fixed by management, and I wish them good luck in the future.

In the end, it was not the price that sold me on LV Mobile Oil Change and Brakes but what Steven wrote on his price quote, it was the type of oil he was going to use for my vehicle: European specific oil blend. After a couple more text over the app, I made an appointment for Sunday. I received an appointment confirmation and a service call the morning of the appointment (nice touch on the call). Steven arrived on time and after asking him a couple of maintenance questions about my vehicle and future service needs, he went to work on the oil change. Oil change took about 20 minutes (way faster than any dealership or oil change garage). I also had him install a new cabin filter (for a small addition fee). In fact, when the mechanic showed up, he made it clear that he doesn't know much about hub motors, but that someone would walk him through it. He was not only unable to fix it, but he left it worse than it was. When I ask to have a qualified mechanic for my type of electric scooter to come back out and at least get it to where it was before the first mechanic touched it., Jordan said he would not do that nor would he give me a refund. I might as well have taken $200 ripped it to shreds and flushed it down the toilet. In fact, I would feel better about doing that than knowing this jerk took my money. When I told him he should've sent someone qualified for the job, he told me I was crazy and that's how mechanics learn. So basically, I paid $200 for a mechanic that knew nothing about my type of vehicle... so he could have a little more experience. What a joke! The mechanic told me he removed the entire motor hub and then put it back on. When I told Jordan, that after his mechanic left., my machine is completely dead, and I can't even get a battery reading. He claimed it was not their fault because the mechanic did not remove one single bolt. So how do I know who's lying? As far as I'm concerned, this guy is a complete thief and a liar!!! My feeling is that because I'm a woman he saw an easy target to steal from. I thought I had maybe a head gasket go bad, thermostat or internal radiator clog...none of the above. I was actually the cooling fan module resistor. It had gotten hot and melted the housing a bit.
