My favorite spot for bang trang tron! Love the texture, toppings, sauces and flavors. As for the other food, I can't say much other than that I've also had the rolled version but it was ok in my opinion, too much mayonnaise. The drinks here are really good too though! I like the milk teas. It's a store that gives a vietnam street vibe and good for dining in our taking out. Service is super quick and prices are competitive compared to other similar spots. I'd recommend you try it!
Great place for authentic and delicious Vietnamese street food. We had the banh trang tron (excellent), grilled muc (also great, especially with the spicy dipping sauce) and oc (delicious). Tried the fried chicken legs as well which wasn't my favorite but fun to eat! There's street parking and also drinks here, great spot to visit in the area.
We order the rice paper salad combo. The first time we had it, it was great. The had very generous toppings, giving the dish a lot of different texture. I really liked the pork rind, nice to have a crunch every so often. I asked to make it spicy and they gave me a side of chili. One thing I've noticed is that the sauce tastes different from day to day. Sometimes it's sweeter than usual; other times it's more savory. I've been there three times in the span of a month, and it hasn't been very consistent. The first time had very generous toppings, the second time was a big letdown compared to the first, and the third time was somewhere in the middle. I would love it if the quality and flavors were consistent every time I order. Overall 3.5 out of 5
What's not to love about bánh tráng trộn? This is easily one of my fave Viet street foods, but I can't find it in SF. However, there seems to be no shortage of it in SJ? You know it's real when I make the trek out of the city for something, and this is one of the things that are totally worth the round trip. I got it, it was great, and I highly recommend.

Items: - Vietnamese breadstick/banh mi que with pate and pork floss: Can't go wrong with pateee and bread mmm - Stuffed crispy sticky rice with caramelized pork belly: Good, and super crunchy/crispy! - Banh trang cuon: My fav dish out of them - One of the milk teas Service was great, super friendly! Seating can fill up quick, but no worries as they can set you up with a table outside as well!
As a Vietnamese person, you NEED to check this restaurant out! They have all the delicious Viet street food to satisfy your cravings and make you temporarily forget that you're in the US! Conveniently located in VN Town on Story Road, Moc Delights has a killer interior decor that reminds you so much of Vietnam! One wall is painted beautifully with a blue window looking into a traditional Viet kitchen where the sticky rice rolls are being cooked, preparing to be offered to our ancestors at Lunar New Year's Eve. If this scene won't make you sentimental and remember of VN, you can always use it as a photo op for your Instagram post This restaurant has so MANY selections and the only hardest thing you have to do here is self control to not offer everything Their staff is very friendly and offers some advice if you ask for them. My friend and I ended up ordering mixed rice paper salad, steamed jumbo squid with Thai sauce and Fragrant Snails with Tamarind sauce. Our dishes came out quickly in disposable and ready-to-go containers. The portions were so generous that we couldn't finish though we were super hungry and truly enjoyed the food. All the dishes had authentic Vietnamese flavor and as a Viet person, I approved :)
I go here so often and the food never disappoint! I always end up eating the food and forgetting to take a photo. I would always recommend getting their Bot Chien and Bo Ne. There's also lot of other Vietnamese appetizer that are good. The chicken cartilage, calamari, and snails are always so fun to eat!
The first time I went here their menu was still pretty small. Now it's way more extensive and lots of food to try. Most of the food items are snacks. The one full meal item is the sizzling plate beef with bread. I would suggest getting bread to eat with the plate. I love the bot chien and it's a great portion to share. Another snack you should try is the sun ga chien. They sometimes have promotion for their seafood dish like snail and clams. The staff is always super friendly and brings out the food directly to the table. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
This is a place you want to go to to just hang out (nhau). The food is snack food. I love the rice paper salad. Bursting with flavor. Same goes for the squid in the fish sauce. My god that was tasty. I liked the fried sticky rice with the pork, but I thought it was a little too crispy towards the end. The server was very nice. She even offered to give us more dressing for the salad if we needed more (which we did). The flavors for everything were spot on. Great balance of everything.
Cute, little spot for some Vietnamese snacks! My friend and I were craving some late night snacks and had this spot bookmarked so we decided to give it a try. They have inside seating and outside seating (tables and chairs are small - like in Vietnam!) We each ordered a milk tea, calamari and the stuffed sticky rice cakes. We didn't really care for the calamari, as it didn't really stand out without the sweet and sour sauce, but the sticky rice?! Really good! Never had these before, but reminded me of banh tet because of the glutinous rice and similar flavor profile. I would definitely come back and try their other snacks and drinks.

The fish sauce was slight caramelized over it. Tasted pretty good. Stuffed crispy rice with caramelized pork belly: 4.5 stars. delicious. Crispy rice outside and plenty of chopped pork belly that is braised with Viet spices. Yummy.
Mộc Delight was a pretty good spot overall. The service was fast, and the drinks were okay. I ordered the ốc hương xào me, ốc len xào dừa, viên chiên tỏi ớt, and bánh mì chảo bò. The bánh mì chảo was decent, not super special, but the portion was big and very filling, so it was still worth it. The ốc hương xào me was definitely the highlight for me. It was really flavorful, well-seasoned, and super tasty. The ốc len xào dừa was also nice and creamy, and the fried fish balls with garlic chili were good to share. Overall, I had a good experience and would come back for the ốc hương xào me.
Love this place!!! The food is delicious and the options are interesting and fresh. We got Bot Chien and it was soooo good. I already wanna go back. I shared it with 2 other people. Plus they have strong Vietnamese coffee too and are open late! It really gives a proper street food vibe with excellent service and friendly workers. I would recommend for sure. As a note: there is a cash discount so bring cash!

Tried Moc Delight for many times and really enjoyed it! Their milk tea was fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. We also ordered a few snacks, and everything came out hot, crispy, and delicious. The staff were friendly, and the place had a clean, cozy atmosphere that's perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing a quick treat. Prices were reasonable, and there were plenty of options to choose from. Definitely a great spot if you're craving milk tea and tasty snacks. I'll be back to try more items on the menu! read more

My mom wanted to try this place after seeing an ad for their tamarind drinks! I feel like it's pretty hard to find a spot that makes a really good tamarind drink, so we had to give it a try. It was around $9, which is pretty pricey for a drink like this. The flavor was just okay for me, but my mom really enjoyed it! read more

Found my favorite childhood snack, mixed rice paper at Moc Delights--a fancier version of what I used to have in Vietnam. I love that the rice paper itself was flavorful, savory, spicy, shrimpy and garlicky. The tamarind sauce on the side was sweet and tangy. I like to pour it over the rice paper so it softened up. I also like the toppings they added for the mixed combo rice paper, nice blend of texture and flavors from jerky, pork rinds, mango, and egg. My personal favorite topping was the Vietnamese coriander, perfect to pair with the rice paper. I highly recommend the combo mixed rice paper. I also got their milk tea & coconut kumquat to try & tbh they were super disappointing. The milk tea & coconut kumquat were unbearably sweet, I couldn't even get to half of the cups. For the milk tea, the tea scent didn't pulled through at all. I was basically sipping on burnt sugary milk. Overall, giving this place 3/5 star because they need to improve their drinks. read more

I can only comment on the Bahn Mi Chao since that's the only dish I've gotten. However, it was so good that I came back a second time and this will be one of my go to's for this dish! The steak is so juicy and tender, it's mind blowing. The sauce isn't as sweet nor thick as other Bahn Mi Chao but the steak makes up for it! The baguette isn't as crispy as other places too. The green Thai tea is also pretty good! Place gets pretty busy. While they have some tables, people tend to eat for a while (I've seen people bring takeout from other places too) , so seating can be tough depending when you go. Decor is very cute and feels very homey. In respect to service, we had order & pay first before being called up to get our food. It didn't take too long for the food to be made. read more
A nice addition to the viet plaza! Definitely a place to stop by for snacks, but not meals. We ordered their rice flour cake, and fried combo. For beverages, we got viet iced coffee and their jasmine MT. Pros include that their drinks were made appropriately and their milk. Tea was super creamy and large in size. Con would be a bit on the price of your side when it comes to their food... their drinks are definitely better than their food. Next time we go, I have to try their mixed rice paper salad! read more
After seeing lots of social reels, I had to try the food and drinks to understand the hype. While they accept credit cards, a 4% discount will be applied to your order if you pay with cash. Food Stuffed Crispy Rice with Caramelized Pork Belly (Xoi Chen) - $10.95 for 3 pieces This is made-to-order and was piping hot! The caramelized pork belly is marinated with a soy sauce base and are the same flavors as Thit Kho (Vietnamese beef and boiled eggs). The rice is crispy and is shaped like a Peking duck duck bun. It can be a bit greasy because of the crispy fried rice. Don't miss out on trying this because it does sell out! Vietnamese Breadstick (Pate Pork Floss, Cha Bong) - $7.50 for 2 pieces 2 skinny perfectly toasted baguettes with a layer of pate and pork floss sprinkled on top. It was wrapped in a yellow parchment-like paper with a rubberband (similar to a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich). Drinks Salted Plum The drink tastes like a subtle lihing mui plum in the form of an iced drink. You can ask to adjust the ice and sweetness level. I have ordered this a couple of times and it's always consistent. Customer Service Excellent customer service provided by the staff. Ambiance The decor is reminiscent of a small Vietnam village with traditional hats on the wall and painted decorations. There's several tables and chairs to sit inside to enjoy your order. There's a self-service station by the pickup area for to go container, utensils, and condiments. Location / Parking It is located towards the back of the Vietnam Town plaza on the left side after passing Nuoc Mia Vien Dong 2. Parking was easy to find during non-peak hours. read more

Was very excited to try this place but MEH. We tried the banh mi que - the bread tasted sorta stale, we did eat it an hour later, but at another place, when we ate it later, it was still good. so maybe just bad bread. the fillings were okay. the pork floss pate one was kinda salty. the fish cake one was MEH. stuffed crispy sticky rice - this was good. lychee green tea - skip the drinks, maybe coffee is okay. but this was so sweet and just artificial lol we came on a sunday around...3p, it was empty LOL which could be considered a good thing. we'll have to come back and try some other things. read more
Moc delight used to be 5/5 for me but after today I'm not so sure ): (such a shame...) The goods: - chicken cartilage: the best I've had around sj. Nice and crispy and flavor is good. - fried sticky rice: also nice crisp and good flavor. My favorite is the one with pork belly. - banh trang tron: this became my favorite place for banh trang tron. I looooove their sauce. I love it so much that there was a time where I got it 4 times in a month and 2 times in a week. The bads: - banh trang tron portion can be very inconsistent. I've been going since they just opened til now. The first few times, the portion was really generous. And then each time after it feels like it got smaller and smaller. (I usually buy it to go and dump it in a bowl when I get home, so I definitely notice the difference lol, it used to overflow in the bowl i use, these days it fits nicely in the same bowl) - today, after almost finishing my banh trang tron. I noticed something on one of the pork rinds...after looking closely I'm pretty sure it's fly eggs...yikes I'm aware that no restaurants out there is sparkling clean, but this experience is definitely gonna deter me from coming here for awhile lol read more
I enjoy stopping by Moc Delights when I'm craving Vietnamese style snacks. The mixed rice paper salad is always loaded with toppings. It's chewy, savory and tangy. I have tried a few drinks here, but I do like the tamarind juice the most. It's perfectly sweet and sour and so refreshing. The jasmine milk tea is also smooth and fragrant. read more

I've been looking for good bánh mì quê. I decided to check out Moc Delights because they have it and other street snacks too. Food: 5/5 The bánh mì quê did not disappoint and was really good! I have had it at other places where the price was more expensive, there weren't enough fillings, or the banh mi was too small. The bánh mì quê here was a good size and decently priced, with lots of fillings! I got the pate/pork floss one. Service: 5/5 Food did not take long to come out and the workers are nice. Ambiance: 5/5 The decorations and artwork are amazing! The shop looks very modern. It takes me back to the streets of Vietnam. It is a small shop but there are several tables and chairs for you to enjoy your food indoors too. I can't wait to go back to get the banh mi que again and maybe try other street snacks like the fried sticky rice.:) read more

Social media strikes again... A Moc Delights reel showcasing Viet street foods popped up on my IG feed. I wasn't familiar with the dishes in the reel, they looked different, tasty and got the OK from a couple of Viet food bloggers. Had to give it a shot... Moc Delights is not the biggest of venues and has somewhat of limited seating as well. The decor is artsy, bright and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful. I do wish they didn't utilize so many disposable containers, just my personal preference. Everything came out pretty fast. #VietStreetEats: MOC'S SPECIAL: 1. VIETNAMESE BREADSTICK / BÁNH MÌ QUE - Pate, Pork Floss (Pate, Chà Bông) - 4.5/5 - Fish Cake (Chả Cá, Rau Rám) - 4.5/5 Both of these were amazing! Unlike a regular Banh Mi, they were slim. I mean very slim Banh Mi's...as if a Banh Mi was a underweight supermodel on a diet! lol. Delicious! 2. STUFFED CRISPY STICKY RICE / XÔI CHIÊN (3 Pieces) - Pate, Pork floss, Minced Pork - 5/5 These were amazing! This was the first time I had these. Everyone at the table loved the texture and the taste. I would easily get this again! MIX RICE PAPER SALAD: ~ Bánh Tráng Trộn Tả Là (Combo Mix) - 4/5 I saw a much better presentation on line...of course...lol. Reality is usually different. The taste was fire, they even give you gloves to mix up the rice paper and the salad. SNACKS / CHIEN TA LA ~ 6. FRIED CHICKEN GIZZARD - 4/5 Your standard Chicken Gizzard. Lightly fried, not too oily. Moc Delights is a small and clean cafe in Vietnam Town that specializes in Vietnamese street snacks! We ordered the Xôi Chiên (stuffed crispy sticky rice), Bánh Mì Chảo, Green Forest Thai MT and it was so delicious and the perfect portion for two people! It was our first time having Xôi Chiên and we were blown away by how delicious this was. It consisted of a deep fried crispy sticky rice shell stuffed with either pate & pork floss or pork belly. We opted for the pate & pork floss and we're soo glad we did. The texture from the crispy rice & creamy pate was phenomenal. The crispy sticky rice also wasn't oily at all. The Bánh Mì Chảo came out hot and sizzling! I love how it was served with a fresh baguette and a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was very tender seasoned perfectly. The portion was huge and great to share with another person. You order at the front, take a seat, and the staff will bring the food to you. I got introduced to Moc Delights by a friend, and I'm honestly so glad I did. We tried the Bánh Tráng Trộn Tả Là (Combo Mix) and it was such a fun snack to eat. It comes packed with rice paper, basil, beef, chicken jerky, pork rinds, boiled egg, mango, and sautéed shrimp. You get a little bit of everything in each bite. Presentation wise, it looks super good right when you open the container. Before eating, you definitely want to mix it really well so all the flavors come together. They also give you a glove, which makes it way easier (and less messy) to toss everything properly. Flavor wise, it's a nice balance of savory, tangy, and a little sweet from the mango. The textures are also really satisfying: chewy, crunchy, and soft all at once. Service was quick and efficient. The wait for the food was only a few minutes, which made it perfect for a quick snack shop. The staff were also friendly, and everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for something different and snacky to share with friends. I'd come back again to try more! read more
We came from SF to try the skinny bahn mi and the crispy rice balls. The skinny bahn mi was okay, but we loved the crispy rice balls! They had similar fillings and I liked the fried sticky rice better than the bread. The bread was a bit dry and didn't taste that fresh. The rice balls were great - crunchy and chewy! Located in Vietnam Town, right next door to Pho Ha Noi but on the back side. Looks like they took over the old Teazu spot. We arrived right when they opened at 10am on a Saturday. We were the first ones there. The decor and wall mural was giving Vietnamese street food stalls. They have 5-6 or tables indoors if you wanted to dine in. We ordered.. STUFFED CRISPY STICKY RICE / XOI CHIEN $10.95 (3) -we got it with caramelized pork belly. I wanted a combo of their two flavors but you only get one choice for a set of 3. The pork belly was a bit on the dry side but still very tasty. The sticky rice was super crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. Perfect combo with the pickled carrot / daikon and thai basil. It brightened up the fried sticky rice. A little chinh-su hot sauce drizzle and it was chef's kiss. 4/5* VIETNAMESE BREADSTICK / BANH MI QUE $7.50 (2) -one with pate & pork floss and the other with fish cake. They came out warm and toasted. This was a fun way to eat banh mi. Easy to hold and eat. Toppings were pretty good but I couldn't get past how dry the bread was. For the pate version, I liked how they put A LOT of pate in it, which helped with the dry bread. The fried fish cake version, fish cake was taste but again, dryyy. 2.75/5* BANH TRANG CUON $13.95 -rice paper rolls with chinese sausage, jerky, boiled eggs and shredded mango. Kinda plain, didn't have much flavor. The dipping sauce it came with was too sweet for me. If you don't eat it right away and brought it home like we did, the rice paper rolls get super stuck together. When we tried to pull them apart to eat, the rolls would just rip and the inside fell out. Kinda annoying. Since it was kinda bland, the chinh-su hot sauce they provided really helped. I do like how they topped the rolls with some pork cracklings, fried shallots and a drizzle of mayo. 2.5/5* They have a condiments table on the side if you needed to dress up your snacks. Plastic utensils, chopsticks, paper trays and napkins are self serve. The staff were super nice. The cashier gave me recommendations on popular items and the rest of the staff were friendly / playful with my active toddler. Food took some time to come out and they came out one by one. Street food vietnamese experience Bahn Trang Tron- rice paper salad - definitely missing acidity, needs more tamarind and lime juice and Thai chili in my opinion. Size is hefty though considering it's a salad. Mango was a bit ripe and soft rather than raw and tart as I prefer Bahn Trang Tron coun - wrapped up version of the salad above with kewpie mayo. Satisfying Xoi chien Deep fried crispy sticky rice with sweet marinated pork belly. Came with some chili oil and pickled daikon. Was unique and good Sizzling beef plate - pate was fresh, not gamey, meat was tender. Xiumai was tasty. A fried egg to top it all off. This was definitely the best dish though I wish it didn't taste as much like margarine and if it came with more bread and Veggie it would be more shareable and balanced Atmosphere was lively and clean Service was friendly however they forgot our order and assumed the last sitting next to us was part of our party but they recovered service by delivering our food and comping a lychee drink Overall unique and worth a try! read more

The food tasted great! I love the Banh Trang Tron, it was an explosion of flavor. Would recommend adding some of the lime juice from the sauce bar for an extra layer of flavor. Prices are high for Vietnamese street food, but that is the price to pay for such delicacies in the bay area! Service was very fast and attentive. It was a peaceful place to have a mid day snack on a Sunday. read more
I love this place for the drinks. Atmosphere is lively and place looks nice. The staff here are okay. I came in on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. The cashier seemed very unenthusiastic but perhaps it was the rush they had. Green Forest drink is really delicious. It is a green Thai based beverage. read more

5 stars for service! The lady behind the register was patient with explaining ingredients of the coconut kumquat drink to ensure me there's no allergen for my child. Super kind and on top of that, the fried sticky rice with pate is so crunchy and delightful. It was my first time having it along with rice paper salad combo mix. I was pleasantly surprised at the combo salad was flavorful and crispy! Will return for the snacks. The roasted milk tea was a tad too sweet for me so will ask for less sweet if possible. read more
Moc Delights is a newly opened cafe in Vietnam Town that serves some Vietnamese street food and coffee/tea drinks. A small place with colorful decorations and painted murals. The service is nice and friendly. Place your order with the cashier. I stopped in because Alisa B raved about the Green Forrest drink, which did not disappoint. I totally agree with her! This is one of the best tasting green Thai tea's I've ever had. It's florally yet their cream that they add gives it a silky, creamy, smoothness as you slowly drink. Yum! Thanks for the recco Alisa! Definitely recommend the Green Forrest! Possibly the best Green Thai Tea I have ever add. The addition of their sweet cream is sooo good. Adds the perfect amount of milky texture to the strong, fragrant milk tea. I'd order this again :) 50% sweetness was perfect for me. I came here for a caffeine fix, but I was surprised to see they have a bunch of food here too! I'll definitely be back to try out their bò né, which seems to be really popular. read more

Winner will be announced during Tết (Viet new year). Arrived around 10:30 am over the weekend and were the only customers. They were slammed by 11:15 am. M E N U Array of Viet street food and fried snacks. For drinks, they have coffee, fruit tea, milk tea, and non-caffeinated options. They also have grab 'n go snacks like bánh tráng (rice paper) and preserved fruit. Counter service only, order and pay ahead. Aside from the bánh mì chảo, food is served in takeout containers. We got three items here for three people and I would say it was good portioned. We weren't completely full but no longer hungry. 1. Rice paper combo - banh trang chọn ta là : (4/5) very tasty but not worth $16 in my opinion. Would recommend getting one of the specific meats to save $2 as we couldn't really taste the different meats 2. Sizzling beef plate (5/5): our favorite dish! The portions were on the smaller size for the price but it tasted good enough to make up for it. We requested the meat rare and they aced it. 3. Frog legs and porridge (3/5): felt like you didn't get too much frog legs for the amount of porridge, which also felt really bland even with the sauce mixed in. read more

Another Viet street food place added to my list. I'm a snacker so whenever I stumble upon quick eats like these, it fills me with joy. The portions are quite big, filling, and easy to share. It was just my friend and I that day when this pic was taken. We were able to get full off of these pretty quickly. I can't forget the fact that this place replaced Teazu.
