Service was quick and we came around 1pm still a lot of ppl on the waitlist. The food portions were huge and they also sell trung legend drinks which were delicious . Overall we had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the food, will come back for more !

I was craving a vermicelli bowl and remembered seeing this place on social media so I thought it was the perfect time to try it! I ordered the vermicelli bowl with pork and an egg roll, and the portions were HUGE. The whole dish was delicious. We also ordered the pork spring rolls, which I loved because they had that fried crunchy stuff inside. My husband got the rice plate with BBQ beef rib and shrimp, and he really enjoyed it as well. We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday and were seated right away. They also have outdoor seating which is really nice. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a modern feel. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu!

4.5 rounded to 5 My partner and I were craving com tam, so we decided to drive to Little Saigon SJ to indulge! When we arrived on a Saturday evening, we saw groups of patrons waiting. At first, we didn't know what to do -- as it was chaotic looking -- but we were directed to write our name and party size on a notepad outside the restaurant. The wait wasn't long, as the staff was very efficient at bussing tables and seating the next guests. SEATING Indoor seating is available, along with a large covered outdoor area with heat lamps. SERVICE The service is fast. Although they are busy, they make sure everything is brought to the table. If you need assistance, just be intentional and wave someone down--they'll respond. FOOD The portions are generous. We both ordered com tam and really enjoyed the grilled pork. The flavors were savory, with some ends slightly toasted, which we liked. The grilled flavor was also good. However, the eggrolls weren't the best I've had. The filling was tasty, but the oil used for the shell wasn't fresh, causing it to stick and leaving a noticeable oil taste. Overall, it's a tasty spot to indulge your com tam or broken rice cravings!

I ordered the pho from Cơm Tấm Thiên Hương and it was really good- rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Everything tasted fresh and savory. I'll definitely be ordering again soon! I'm also excited to try the rice plates. Thank you, Anthonyxibarrax

Super delicious food at a great price point! It was my first time here and I ordered the bbq chicken rice plate. It came with rice, chicken, veggies, shrimp cake and a small soup to start. It was very filling and a good portion where I had some to take home. I will be back!

I usually go to the one on Capital Expressway, but figured ill try their 2nd location as well. It was also very delicious. The only problem is trying to find parking. The food was really good though. I had the #70 rice special. It has a bit of everything so you are able to taste different palates of flavors. Even though they are known for their rice dish, their pho is actually really good too. Clear and clean broth, steaming hot with tons of meat. The service was fast as well with little wait time. The ambiance was clean and good atmosphere. This is one of my top go to spots for Vietnamese food.

A bit on the pricey side but they did have big portions. Food was delicious. Many options and combos to choose from. The only thing I wasn't happy with was when the server (who didn't speak English) brought out our dishes, he didn't know which was which. We have eight people and all order combo rice. Two people end up eating something they didn't order because we (he) didn't know what he was giving us. But be ready to spend close to $25 per person for their special condo rice. Ambience was a little noisy, but it wasn't exactly high-end (besides the price, lol). Just need to manage expectations for this Viet restaurant. Otherwise, I would go back again.

My family has been coming here for three years now. We use to go to the other com tam but this spot is better. The wait is always long on weekends and holidays but totally worth the wait. There's other coffee shops and quick bite to grab while waiting. Today we waited almost an hour. Have to warn you sometimes there's also a wait for your food too. An hour and a half later, I've changed my rating. We got seated after 45-50 mins for a party of four. We all ordered and the young man confirmed the orders and it's four orders. The meals took 15-20 mins to arrive, three came at the same time but mine the bbq chicken which I've always always ordered usually come at the same time as everyone else before took another 20-30 mins! We had kept asking and confirm but yet they tried so hard to avoid our table. When I got my meal I've lost my appetite. We will not be back. Going to the other com tam place down the road.

Tucked in Little Saigon, such a delicious place!! The wait can be very long, but the rice plate is worth it! Once you're seated the food comes out pretty quickly. Great portions and so flavorful. I can't wait to go back.

Food is delicious and the servings are decent, $20.50 for #41. Staff was present and we were able to flag them down for items we needed. The patio seating is nice but I don't think it'll be my go to once the weather gets warmer. The sun shines on the patio and it got warm quickly.

They are always busy, so come early to put your name on the waitlist! Bring cash for a discount on your bill. The service is mediocre but the food is always delicious. My go-to is the simple plate with grilled pork and broken rice, though you can get the bigger plate with the egg, sugar cane skewer, and other additions. The meat is always fresh, with a great char and lots of flavor. Seating and ambiance are nothing special - the highlight is the food.

I am biased because I grew up eating this place's food, but the broken rice plates are so good. My favorite is the korean ribs and the shrimp on sugarcane combo. The smokiness is just right and the sweet and savory shrimp ughhh. Warning, it is a heavy mea, so ur gonna get sleepy after. They also have bbq chicken and maybe its just my brother's, but i thought it was way too smoky.

Came here for the namesake - broken rice. The portion and quality did not disappoint. I've had a lot of versions of this dish and I'll say that this is the best shrimp cake I've had. The egg and shrimp sugarcane sides were really good as well. I'd definitely come back. There was a long line for Saturday even at an odd hour. They have a paper waitlist you write your name on. There is outdoor dining - both covered and uncovered so when I asked for the uncrowded uncovered seating the employee was concerned with us being cold - we didn't mind - so when we were seated they brought us hot waters. So nice! Service was also prompt. They have a good amount of space so the line does move. The parking is in a busy plaza so it will highly depend on when you go.

The atmosphere of SJ Eggrolls is casual, with a huge TV playing sports and minimal decor. The food arrived soon after I ordered. Their signature net egg rolls are phenomenal. I am obsessed with the crunchy net wrapping - it was the perfect crispy texture. The filling of pork and shrimp was savory and delicious. It paired well with lettuce, mint, pickled carrots, and a sweet chili sauce. I loved the spring rolls as well. They tasted super fresh and had a variety of fillings. The Chinese sausage spring roll was my absolute favorite. The salty sausage contrasted well against the clean, fresh vegetables. Every dish was a very good price. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my estimated pickup time and the egg rolls (netted and regular) were ready but the Banh Khot were still being cooked. The estimated pickup time on the website was pretty accurate. Everything made the 35 minute journey and stayed crispy!! The regular egg rolls were tasty but nothing special. The netted egg rolls however, I'd come back for. They were crispy all throughout and the filling was well seasoned. The Banh Khot were very crispy with a nice and pleasant chew from the coconut batter. My husband loved the flavor and texture. I wasn't a huge fan of the coconut flavor being so prominent but I know that's a staple of Banh Khot batter. Next time I'd skip the regular egg rolls but I'm happy I tried them!

It's not always easy to find Vietnamese dishes like these done well in the South Bay, so I was happy to find a spot that delivers. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.

If you can't find parking in that plaza, there's more parking across the road where the Target is. After spending about ten minutes on the written wait-list, our names were called. It's definitely a little easier communicating with much of the staff if you speak Vietnamese, and I find that waiting right outside the restaurant is best because they default to calling your name from the door once it's your turn. The interior is crammed with tables; the atmosphere feels busy and warm. There is a single room women's bathroom and men's bathroom in the back as well. The decor leans toward being classic more than trendy, which I liked. The menu is pretty big, offering a variety of items ranging from mainstream Vietnamese options to ones I don't encounter as often. I recommend eating family-style for many of these dishes, including the Bún Chả Cá Lã Vọng, which I enjoyed with my partner. The prices are pretty average, and their portions are generous. That said, they are cash or Zelle only. There is an ATM that you can use if you forget to bring cash, but this is still something to keep in mind. Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back. I wish I had the stomach capacity to try more of their dishes at once, and I 100% recommend that anyone give this place a shot.

The appetizers were all good and definitely satisfied my craving for Hue-style snacks. Unfortunately, the Bun Bo Hue was disappointing. The broth had a strange flavor and was missing the rich, hearty depth that makes Bun Bo Hue so comforting and memorable. I honestly found it surprising that a restaurant specializing in Hue cuisine would miss the mark on one of its most iconic dishes. Another thing I noticed was that the vermicelli noodles were broken into many small pieces, which made me feel like they weren't particularly fresh. It definitely affected the overall eating experience. Before leaving, I also ordered a banh canh to go. That ended up being really good, though I personally wasn't a fan of the fresh-cut noodles. By the time I got home, they had expanded quite a bit in the broth and became softer than I prefer. Overall, I enjoyed everything except the Bun Bo Hue. The appetizers were solid, the banh canh was tasty, and I'd come back for those items. However, the Bun Bo Hue is one dish I probably won't order again.

With a thorough deep cleaning and some updated menus, this restaurant could create a much more welcoming dining experience. Until then, the cleanliness issues overshadow what was otherwise an average meal.
