Right at the entrance of the mall and next to the food court. Perfect for desserts but they won't honor their own coupon for a free donut. The guy said "I don't think we do that anymore and it's an old coupon that Yelp just hasnt taken down yet." Yet there's no expiration on the coupon but hey, job on customer service. First off the workers did nothing wrong they were all innocent teens/young adults like me!! Very kind and professional and just doing their best. The managers or owners however, deserve all the blame. The food rating was "okay". It was ONE TIER ABOVE NOT PASSING. I decided to still try because I was hungry and it smelled really good, plus how bad could it be? It's "fastish" food so meh. I got a peach açaí tea and a Korean potato dog with sriracha mayo. Oh my god. The tea tasted like just straight sweetness. Not sugar, just waaaayyyy too sweet, and I normally love sweet things, but this was inedible. There were a lot of black flecks I just attributed to just particles from the tea hopefully but who knows. I was parched but I ended up throwing it away after a couple sips because it genuinely turned my stomach. The corndog took twenty minutes. Easily. I get it's not fast food but I was hoping it'd only be ten ish or so minutes. Given there had only been two people with one corndog each in front of me I thought it wouldn't have taken that long. I think there was only one worker in the back though I felt bad . Once I took the corndog I walked to find seating and realized it was cold after about five minutes. Not warm, but cold. If something's been fried it should not be cold after only a few minutes. Warm is the very coldest it should've been. Needless to say I did not eat it. With that food safety rating I was worried I might get sick. I say eat here at your own risk, it's your money and this is America but just be aware!! read more

Grand opening today of Mochinut in Bellevue Crossroad Mall! This is more than a donut! Originated from Hawaii, this combines chewy mochi into an American donut. The shape is so cute and there are 6 different flavors everyday to choose from. I like the texture but it was too sweet for me. Half a donut is plenty The Hotdogs were very interesting! I bought the half-n-half mozzarella and beef sausage on sweet potato crust. I liked the sweet potato crust, and the mozzarella was so fun to eat! While visiting the fun international food court here with my daughter she spotted this place. Normally I avoid anything donut related. Not because I don't like donuts, but because I love a good donut too much. My daughter informed me these are not just regular donuts but Mochi donuts and then explained them to me. I don't remember all she said because it was very technical and had to do with mochi balls, rice flour, and who knowes what else. What I do remember is I am so glad she convinced me to visit this speciality donut spot. The order kiosk was absolutley the largest one I have ever seen! Donuts can be seen frying behind the counter. Yummy! Once they come out of the fryer the "blank" donut is dressed up to order. We ordered three donuts. Banana, pumpkin chai, and churro flavored. OMG, These things are delish! Despite being stuffed from lunch I could not resist a bite. My daughter was very protective of the banana flavor but relented when we got home. They also serve these crazy looking specialty corn dogs. This spot is located inside the Crossroads Mall and next to the food court. Worth trying at least one donut. But, if you do come here I guarantee you are going to want to order more than one to bring home. They were even good the next day as we just kept snacking off of them. Yummy. The rice dogs are good, but I probably wouldn't get the donuts again for a while. I've tried the rice dogs and donuts on 3 separate occasions. For the rice dogs, I've enjoyed all of them so far, which have included the potato half & half, the crispy ramen, and the hot cheetos original. They've all been crispy and tasty, especially with sauce. (Side note: the gochujang sauce doesn't taste like gochujang to me, but it wasn't bad either) The wait for a rice dog is longer, but I don't mind since they're freshly made. The donuts are very pretty (kudos to the employees), and I appreciate the rotating list of flavors (I particularly like the mango one). However, there's something about a mochi donut being cold that makes me not want to take more than 3 bites. If I hadn't had a warm mochi donut before, I'd probably assume that that's just what they should taste like. The thing is, my previous experiences with mochi donuts (at another chain, and at the SLU Mochinut) is that they have always been at least warm, if not, freshly hot. In my opinion, a warm mochi donut makes a HUGE difference in texture and taste. I understand that due to demand, it might not be possible to fry donuts in smaller batches. But on three separate occasions, I've had the same sort of meh donut experience... except for the time I ordered a plain donut, which just happened to be warm, and thus, totally delicious. I stopped by on a weekday after the gym; I figured I deserved to treat myself. My friend bought a three-pack of the Mochinut donuts in the Strawberry Haze flavors. She gave me one, and I liked the flavor. I decided to try the Flaming Cheetos Korean dog, and I thought that was pretty good. Second time, I went on a Saturday afternoon, so I expected it to be busy. It took me 45 minutes to get in and out with three Korean dogs and three drinks. This time I got the Gamsung Potato dog, and I liked it. And I tried Passion Mango Lemonade, which I didn't totally love. Over course, it looked nothing like the picture, but nothing about the drink stood out. I had put my three drinks I ordered into my tote bag. When I got to my car, I realized my tote bag was wet. When I pulled out the drinks, one of the drinks spilled all over my car; it had not been sealed well. So, after being hot and waiting 45 minutes for my order, it was pretty frustrating to spend more time wiping up my car for a drink that wasn't worth all of that. Very non assuming location found inside a mini mall. I was visiting from Houston and my sister insisted we pick up some mochi donut concoctions. There is an automated screen where you can quickly order, we got the half dzn which is one of each type of mochinut. The mochinuts seem to take a while even though we were the 3rd person in line from when they opened at 11:30 am. Approximately 15 mins of waiting.... We took them home and I tried each one, they were great! It's hard to describe the taste, it had a chewy consistency but still melted in your mouth. First of all yay for Mochinut finally opening in Bellevue! I attended the soft opening today and was pleased to see a healthy crowd show up to support. I ordered the dirty coffee Boba tea, three of the mochi donuts (churro, ube, strawberry) and a flaming Cheetos mozzarella corndog. First things first, the mozzarella corn dog and the sauces it came with were all fire!!! So good! Highly recommend trying the mango habanero sauce as well as the garlic sauce both were exceptionally delicious! I've tried their mochi donuts before so the texture and flavor were as yummy as they usually are. I know for soft openings there are kinks that need to be worked out hence it being a soft opening and not a grand opening. With that being said the wait time for the corndog specifically was much longer than expected and ended up being nearly 30 minutes in total. Last but not least, for the Boba tea, hi wasn't impressed with the flavor and consistency considering I have gotten the exact same drink at their Seattle location and it tasted much better and less watery. But, when I went I ordered a drink + pre made doughnut...1.) they didn't have an actual person taking orders. 2.) the workers (understaffed) worked in near silence and ignored all customers (both could be tolerable if one is used to it)3.) not entirely the shops fault...but my tiny order too over 20min - 2 customers prior was a giant 20 drink order...ttyl poor gal making the drinks did the order gracefully, but no one seemed to care about Ute 3 customers after and never did I hear a "sorry about the long wait" - even funnier,l think a 3rd worker was in the back doing nothing. No sense of customer svs at all. I had to ask for bc a straw for my boba....when therre was no other way of drinking it - and no station for straw /napkins.
