It's been a while since I been to regent bakery but since I was in the area and was craving desserts, I stopped by. There wasn't any one else there so it was pretty quiet. It's also a small area so maybe 10 people max can fit. The lady who helped was nice, she separated things so that they don't squish together. I ended up getting: Cream puff --- yummy, I always love cream Puffs and this was definitely satisfied my cravings Egg tart -- decent. The crust was a cookie crust but it was fairly fragile. However sturdy enough to hold it's shape though. The egg part was pretty eggy, most places, they tend to just be sweet. Truffle hazelnut --- it's been a while since I had such a dry cake. The cake itself is pretty dry and the frosting on top was surprisingly dry as well. You do get the chocolate flavor though but man, definitely good if you have milk or something. read more

We came to Regent to pick up a mango mousse cake for a birthday party. We didn't call ahead or anything so we got lucky there was one available. When I was there someone ahead of me was buying the cutest looking taro cake!! The mango mousse cake is nice and light. All of their cakes are beautifully made. After stopping by Tofu 101, I had to swing in here for some Chinese baked goods! I always forget this bakery is next door. But I always step in after going next door. I stopped by Saturday around lunch time and it wasn't busy. So yummy! I love asian bakeries. We came at the end of the day and there was a good selection left - we had such a tough time choosing between all the sweet and savory pastries and cookies. The cakes also looked incredible. Got the Pork Sung Green Onion bread ($2.65 ish) and the Red Bean Mochi Bread (around the same price). Last week, ordered the 8 inch chestnut cake online and it was ready on-time for pick up. Beautiful cake, looked just like online picture. Super excited to try it with a group of friends who were all eager to have the famous regent cake for the first time. Summary: DELICIOUS and adorable pastries!!! But definitely more of a splurge treat due to the prices I've gotten Doordash delivery from here twice (listed as Regent Bakery and Cafe - Bellevue instead of it's current name in the app) and it's never disappointed. I can't speak to the cafe service or ambiance though as I've only DoorDashed from here. The cakes are moist, supple, super flavorful, and just delicious! But they will also set you back ~$8-10 per pastry or slice of cake. My boyfriend got the Black Forest cake which he enjoyed and the Eclair which was HUGE I'm a huge cake girl so I got the Chocolate Mousse cake, Mango Mousse cake, Japanese Cheese Cake, and Pineapple Coconut Buns, which I think are my top favorites from the bakery. (I've also gotten the Hazelnut Truffle cake and Strawberry Mousse cake before which were SO GOOD too, though the Hazelnut Truffle cake fell short compared to the Chocolate Mousse cake). The cakes are so moist, flavorful, bouncy, like SO GOOD. The Pineapple Coconut Buns were good too, but admittedly not my favorite as I'm used to the ones without a crème filled center, though the crème they used was not too sweet which was amazing. The cakes are amazing! They're more on the slightly expensive side, but worth it! The tiramisu cake came with a plastic side, which I ripped off.l and unfortunately, ripped off the cream on the side, too. Not sure if this was just cause I don't have a good plastic ripping off technique or it's like that for every cake. Upon ripping the plastic off, the chocolate shavings on the rim of the cake also came loose and it quickly became a mess. That's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. They also have pastries such as bread and buns. I have yet to try them. The service is fast and there were very few people inside with social distancing enforced. read more

Heard they sold mooncakes here so I made my way down the day before the mid-autumn festival to buy a local mooncake since I've only had those store bought ones that cone in tins before. They had so much variety in terms of fillings and had with/without egg yolk. I remember seeing lotus seed, red bean, pineapple, wintermelon, and snowskin. I had wanted to try wintermelon but they were out so I defaulted back to the lotus seed one (no yolk for me tyvm) its very pretty...but also tastes exactly like grocery store ones? Not sure what I expected and I don't know what difference freshness makes for a mooncake but the taste is exactly what I expected, which was just pretty good. You walk into the bakery and you smell that signature bread smell. It's buttery, sweet, and reminds me of the Asian bakery we would go to to get creme filled buns, fruit tarts, and pigs in a blanket. All the bread was light, buttery, and slightly sweet. I got a piece of napoleon. It was a pretty big piece and the creme was light and creamy and covered with phyllo crumbs or something. I have been a fan of Regent Bakery in Redmond, so I am so glad that now we have one in Bellevue. This bakery is much smaller than that of Redmond, but other than cafe/restaurant area, it has everything as that of Redmond. I love its Asian style bread and not-too-sweet cakes. We have ordered our birthday cakes from this store, and we are always happy with the cakes. I also love its bubble tea. The service is generally good. Sometimes I can't decide which one I want to go for and have to make the staff wait, but none of them ever becomes impatient or rude. I really appreciate their understanding and patience. I just hope they can extend their hours. Sometimes I can't make it before 7, and have to go somewhere else, which is a bummer. read more

It looks like most of these Photos are on their cakes but their bread is also amazing. I had the egg yolk pastry with lotus paste which was super dense and the yolk was nicely salted. I also tried the Taro Pineapple bun, the top was crumbly and sweet, the impressive part was the bread. For how thic the bread was it wasnt dense thic which is a good thing, if you press the bread down you could easily make it flat which is what I want to see in these times of milk based breads. This place is next to tofu 101 and has less foot traffic so while you are in line at tofu you can grab a bread from here. read more

Their cake selection is pretty good and there are always good choice of cakes in the case. I stop by here and there to get bread for my breakfast. I usually get raisin bread, ham and cheese, beef curry bun. I tried their wheat bread and I wish I can get to choose cutting because I like thin cuts. I visited Regent Cakes & Bakery to get some takeout items. Located in a strip mall across Factoria Mall, parking can be hectic outside the shop. On a Saturday afternoon the lot was full and many people were waiting around for others to leave, in hopes of finding a vacant parking spot. So where it's located is a little cray on the weekends. But if you can make it here, you'll find some goodies. I saw that they serve Caffe Vita coffee, which is my favorite so ordered an iced americano (they do not serve drip or cold brew, as they only have an espresso machine), two coconut tarts and a coconut custard bun. There is a good selection here of items, ranging from savory to sweet pastries and breads, to parfaits and customized cakes. They even have bubble tea here. The coconut tart was fine, and most likely would not purchase again. The texture was more cake than custard, so wasn't expecting that. But it wasn't bad, especially since you taste a lot of coconut within the cake-y base. However, the coconut custard bun was sooo bomb! I'm really glad I got this item, as the bun was so incredibly soft with shredded coconut flakes on top. And once I bit into the bun there was so much creamy coconut custard filling! After one bite I found myself finishing the whole bun in minutes. Loved it! Overall, I'm glad I visited Regent Cakes & Bakery because I found an item I loved, the coconut custard bun!
