Last week we came on 04/30 and there wasn't much of a wait. Maybe 5 min to order and another 5 till they started packing our half dozen donuts. There was a line but they weren't selling kdogs that day so it wasn't too bad. Today is Fri 05/06 and we came at 11:50. There was a line with approximately 15ish people. They start selling kdogs at 12 so I assume we're all here for that. By 12:30 we've made it inside to order. I really liked this place. The mochi doughnuts are delicious. The drinks are good. The corn dogs are good. But I just cannot deal with the wait at this place. I came in on a Saturday night. Yes, it was busy. To order it was 20ish minutes. Didn't mind. Got my donuts immediately, as ordering. Then 10 mins later I got my drink. Usual. But the corn dog took forever. The people after me got their corndogs before me. And I asked the cashier how much long they were and she told me it should be coming out now. I stood in the front you can see into the back and they were making a whole bunch of corndogs. Stacks of boxes of corn dogs ready to go in the back. But instead of bringing them out order by order they waited to bring them all out at once. So after waiting like 30 mins not including the 20 mins wait to order I finally got my corn dog, that I watched them make 10-15 mins ago that was just sitting there. Im usually a very patient person. Understanding. I get it if they're busy. I understand. But it was just sitting there. After I got my corn dogs a whole bunch of people got there's too. You order at the counter and there aren't places to sit so you only have a to-go option, but the service is nice and helpful! The person who took my order easily gave recommendations about favorites when I needed help ordering and explained the process well. The flavors were unique and fresh, and because they are rice-based there's the advantage of being gluten free which is nice if you're going to have a treat! The donuts have a chewy texture to them due to the rice flour but are delicate and come in fun flavors. We got raspberry funnel cake, churro, and the seasonal blueberry chocolate biscoff and all were great (funnel cake was my fave!). We tried 4 varieties at a wedding which they offered on every table as appetizers: the strawberry, orange, churro and the strawberry funnel. This was my second time at Mochinut but first time trying the Korean corndogs. Let me tell you they are a 10/10! My daughter had the hot Cheetos mozzarella and it was really good but my favorite was the original half and half with sugar and a drizzle of spicy mayo. Customer service was fast, cashiers were patient, and helpful. The brown sugar tea is my favorite I'll have to try something new next time. The Lychee Lemonade is super sour so it wasn't my favorite but my daughter found it enjoyable. As for the donuts I give those a 8 out of 10 depending on flavor. Great flavors and I love the concept but for me I'd honestly prefer the texture of a regular donut to a Mochi one.... We got them though and ate them later at our office, so I wonder if they would have been better if we ate them right away and warm. I'd still be back to try more though because I love rotating flavors. And it's super cute. $3 a donut but if you buy more by the half dozen or dozen you get a slight discount. We got a half dozen so we could try each flavor. I like how they make it in rings you can easily cut off little pieces and share with friends. read more

I have been passing by this place and not realizing that it was open. The doors are always closed but they also have stickers on the windows that cover from top to bottom. So if the door isn't cracked just a little bit you won't know it's even open. I took the kids to the movies a few weeks ago and when we were walking back to the car I saw the door cracked open. So I finally took a chance and open the door and lo and behold I am greeted by two smiling faces welcoming us in. It was a little early in the day so I think that's why they only had a few flavors available. All of the donuts were really pretty so it was hard to decide which one we wanted to get. I've been here a few times since it's soft opening and have been waiting to review it. Overall, the mochinuts and staff are great! I've loved every flavor so far. The donuts aren't too sweet and the texture is perfect. The staff are always so nice and work really fast. I'm rating it a 3 1/2 due to the fact that 1) the hours are not really convenient on week days. 5pm seems early to be closed in a busy plaza. 2) the Korean corn dogs are only available during the weekend. This might be a personal feeling but idk why but I always want them on a week day lol! I have had it once, and we waited maybe 10-15 mins for them... they seemed to be over cooked compared to the ones Ive had before out of town. I see that they are always working on new flavors and new items but I would love to see corn dogs everyday of the week and later hours first. I love the donuts so I will continue to support them. The menu changes weekly. This week's flavors were black sesame, churro, cinnamon toast crunch, passion fruit with coconut, chocolate funnel cake, and cookie monster. It's a great introduction to trying some flavors that you may have never heard of, such as black sesame. Please bear with the workers as it is a small shop with a lot of customers. My first impressions on my visit to Mochinut it was worth the wait in line. The donuts are made of Rice flour which gives the donut and slightly more dense donut. The line was quick but waiting for my order was kind of long maybe 10 minutes just to put 6 donuts in a box. I believe they only take orders of 3,6,9,12 I tried to order 4 and they couldn't make that happen. So I end up ordering 6. Half Dozen was $16 Once I got them home they didn't last long before they were eaten up. I especially like the matcha donut and the Matcha tea in a can with Almond milk and boba. The other two not my favorites and I've never tried this before so not totally sure what I am looking for but I will say two of the donuts felt fresher . $9 for the three, definitely a fun try but expensive. My experience at mochinut was really good, upon entering the place was simple but it was nicely decorated, I felt the cool air once I enter, the place displayed some varieties of donuts that they carried, they displayed the menu on a tv, on the walls they had decorations of donuts, I order two Korean corn dogs half and half ( half cheese and half sausage) with potato and drizzle with sweet chili sauce , they took a bit long but it was worth the wait, the customer service was incredible the lady was nice and got my order right.
