We have had takeout here a few times during the past year. The food was fresh and flavorful. Last night's meal, however, was enough to put me off from coming back. It was unbelievably bland and disappointing. The sauce was over pureed, and tasted like a batch from their sister restaurant up the street. We did not like that restaurant from the start for this reason. The sauce is like a thickened tomato soup with nary a spice taste to it. I can and have made better at home. To pay the amount of money they charge for this product is ridiculous to me. I feel as though they think Americans do not want or like to taste spices, but this is why I eat Indian food, of course. I am tired of feeling ripped off for a curry when I cannot see a seed of spice or taste any in it. The Korma is to have almond in it, there was none. There should be ground almonds present and it was simply a bland creamy sauce, as was the tikka masala. The vegetables were flavorless as frozen vegetables are. I work hard for my money and I don't have such money to waste on a tasteless meal out. We wanted real Indian food with flavorful spices, not bland food intended for what you think Americans like. read more

Brought my family (7) here for my anniversary and was not disappointed! The staff was extremely friendly and our food was delivered with very little wait time. We ordered a variety of dishes and the food was DIVINE. (Portion sizes were more than equivalent to what you pay :)) Will be returning and definitely recommend. read more

So delicious and authentic. The food was the best Indian food we've had in a long time. We ordered many varied dishes -- great bread basket, vegetarian and meat dishes. The goat and lamb were amazing. We are lucky to have this gem so close to home. The restaurant is tucked away behind the hotel and not obvious to find but once we were inside, the place was modern, clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and dishes came out fast. Got take-out from here when it first opened and the food was delicious. Tonight, we ate inside and everything was fantastic. The excellent service, the modern decor, the awesome scents coming out of the kitchen, we could not have had a better dining experience. Our meals included creamy paneer, tender chicken, and an amazing goat dish that included bones. Loved every bite! Everything was flavorful and authentic. The naan here is the best I've ever had anywhere and it was perfect for dipping into all the spicy sauces. It was a perfect birthday meal for my son. Excellent Indian food. We've been to the restaurant two weeks in a row now. One of the few places that has goat curry which is a bonus for us. Food reasonably priced. Service is fast and excellent. Sebastian is especially accommodating and does his best to make everyone's dining experience amazing. A little tough to get to (located on the other side of a hotel) but we'll worth the find! Let me give the foodies on here some real talk. If you are very familiar with Indian food and consider yourself well-versed in what great Indian food is, you are not going to be happy with this restaurant. We started off with the samosas and poori. The samosas came with the traditional chutneys. The green chutney looked very old. It was separated and watery, and browned throughout, indicating it had been sitting a long, long time. The inside of the samosas were also somewhat brown and had that "old oil" flavor that happens when oil is reused too many times. The poori was ok, but the shells were stale. Now on the main courses. I had shrimp with "Goa" style curry. It was supposed to have coconut, poppy seeds, and various other spices. Instead, it had none of those things. It was the same thin, red, bland sauce that came on my husband's chicken tikka masala. It was not even remotely spicy and had zero flavor. The shrimp was not jumbo shrimp, but rather plain boiled medium shrimp with zero seasoning. The shrimp did not taste fresh. I asked for chili powder or spicy sauce in the hope it would impart some flavor into the dish, and the waitress brought out some lumpy sauce which she said was "VERY spicy." In fact it was barely medium spicy. I used the whole entire bowl and it brought the spice level to somewhere between mild and medium. My husband's chicken tikki masala was supposed to contain white meat chicken. Instead, it was chicken thighs. It was somewhat more flavorful than the "Goa" shrimp, but not by much. The only thing good about the meal was the garlic naan, which was quite good. The pashwari naan also tasted very, very old, as if the ground nuts inside were rancid. I had ordered papadum, which was so stale that it was inedible. When I went inside to go to the bathroom (we were dining outside), I saw that the restaurant was filthy. However, the worst part about the meal is that it tore up my stomach something fierce. I will spare you the intricate details but I think you can catch my drift pretty well. I'll be shopping for Immodium today. I recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to end up doing the same. read more
