This location is very clean easy parking ... fast service and my pizza was delicious I went back the next day... the child size pizza is not enough get Mod size. The bathroom was unkept ... but everyone doesn't use bathrooms so my rating is for food and service. Quiet chill environment as well.

I've only been to this chain a couple of times, but it has always hit the spot. This location in Annapolis, Maryland was no exception. The staff was very high energy and positive. They were accommodating to the requests we had for our meal. We got a cauliflower crust and my husband built his side with the toppings he likes, and I did the same on my half. It didn't take long to bake and they offered us a variety of sauces on the side. We got ranch and red sauce, but it would've been just as good without it. The crust was very crispy and we had just the right amount of toppings, chosen from their large amount of options.

This has been a solid pizza joint each time we've visited. I'm a fan of the "build-your-own" style of fast food service like Chipotle, Mod Pizza, and others. This place doesn't disappoint. You like Hawaiian pizza but you feel it would be better with both ham AND bacon, plus onion and hot peppers? Go for it! The sky's the limit! They have pre-chosen selections if you can't make up your mind, but nothing is pre-made. Each pie is assembled fresh in front of you and baked right away. I've never had a bad pizza here... probably because I'm always making it my way! They also do salads in the same method, but if I'm being honest, I don't come here for the salads. (And there's a Chopt right across the parking lot, so... yeah). I also like their unique beverages. They have Coke fountain drinks, but they also have specialty lemonade (Marion Berry) and Iced Tea (Caramelized Pear) to choose from. It's not your average place by far! Overall, great food, good service, and a neat interior make Mod Pizza a fun, hip stop for lunch or dinner.

This location is pretty consistent and the staff have been friendly in my experiences. The pizza here is kind of like a thin crust that's half crispy half normal - if you've never tried Mod before. Ordering is always quick since it's an assembly line, tell them what you want on it style and they fast oven bake it in front of you. My go to pizza here has always been the dillon james or mad dog (11in), both are excellent!! This time I went w/ bbq sauce to change it up (mozzarella, asiago, chicken, pineapple, green peppers, and chicken jalapeño sausage). The bbq sauce is good & the mikes hot honey finishing sauce went great with it. The chicken jalapeño sausage said limited edition so I would def recommend trying that, it was tasty.

LOVE this idea of build-your-own-pizza! We had a similar concept at the local pizza place in college and it was a huge hit. You get to select what size pizza you want and then everything to go on top from the sauce to the toppings and additional drizzle after it cooks! I ordered the kid size pizza which was the perfect size for me. I will definitely return if I'm ever in this area again!

I have Chicken Sausage Pizza with a mini garden salad and a hot dressing. The drink is Limonata.

Pleasent surprise I had never stopped in before. I picked the Hit Chicken Sausage pizza. The staff was friendly and explained everything. The pizza was hot and delicious. The salad crispy and fresh. Try it.

Pizza was great but service was not so great. I'm there were about 6-7 people yet the line long and not moving. They had one person making salads and pizza and also ringing people up. I asked for a little bit more mozzarella because the girl making it hardly put any one and she told me I could ask later once all the toppings were on. I've never been told this before, especially since it's make your own. I ordered a build your own 11 inch with the mega crust. I asked for white cream, mozzarella, bacon, olives, onions, chopped garlic, asiago cheese, and at the end to top it with pesto and a ranch drizzle. It was very good. I wish the onions were smaller instead of whole rings. The crust and topping were very fresh and flavorful.

My pizza with many meats , ricotta and mushrooms and onions. Also my son's with meats and the sriracha ranch sauce. Both amazing !

Unless you get there super-early at 4, before the 5pm dinner opening, and then wait in the shorter line. Unless you are having lunch there, and in that case I am guessing it may be the same, ie getting in the cue at 11ish before 12pm. I have had the Spotted Pig pizza and whatever enticing pie specialities they have rotated seasonally. I usually opt for the truffle oil or balsamic glaze on our pizza. I have never needed to tweak their delightful presented ingredients combinations. Their pizzas are that outstanding. Take for instance, a recent summer pizza from the Chef's own garden: "The Cuba Libra pizza ...This white pizza features mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, complemented by pork confit, chile-roasted jicama, pickled red onions, cilantro, and fresh mint." I'd never crave mint on a pizza but if Eastport's Vin 909 is serving it, I'm probably going to enjoy it. If you are the more traditional type, another seasonal pizza featured is the Yankee Pie: "family recipe crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, summer sausage, marinated red peppers and oregano." And yes, please, to another summer, perfect-in-Annapolis feature: "Vaquero Clams: Steamed local little neck clams, English ale, bacon, grilled poblano peppers, garlic guajillo butter, fresh oregano, epazote and cilantro." I love the gigantic Vin 909 featured arugula salad. I also miss their divine french press coffees and Butterscotch Pudding with caramelita points. A little known fact: when I was there, you could purchase extra caramelita points for $2 or $3. Vin 909 is truly the best dining in Annapolis -- or Naptown -- as folks like me say.

When I asked if they had burgers, he tapped the menu and said, "We are a pizza spot!!!" which immediately set the tone. We decided to stay anyway, but things didn't improve. My husband ordered the braised short ribs, not realizing it came with a spicy sauce. When we brought it up, Bobby told us if it was remade, we'd be charged for both orders. No effort to check with the kitchen or involve a manager -- just a flat no. Then my husband ordered an Old Forester 1924, but was given the 1920 instead. The 1924 is highly allocated and hard to find. when he saw they had it, he really wanted to taste it. When we pointed it out, Bobby just said, "Oh, okay," and never corrected the drink or offered a solution. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and offered him a taste of the 1924; that was the only moment of good service all night. Really disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. 1 star only because of the bartender.
