First and last time ordering food here! My coworkers and I placed a phone order for lunch. My coworker drove and brought back our lunch...we had 2 of the build your own pizza....when my coworker came back both of the build your own pizza was incorrect. So we called back and the man said for us to go back and he will get correct our order. So my coworker went back and brought it back to us.. our order was still incorrect. I called back asking to speak to a manager. They person who answered the phone said he is the manager. I told the man that this is our 2nd time calling regarding our order was incorrect. He said that we can go back up there and he will correct our order. Mind you we are on our lunch break and we dont have time to go back and forth. So I said...we dont have time and will like a refund instead. So he said that he will place a credit so the next time we call in there will be a credit. I informed the man that we do not want a food credit with them and that we would like a refund. He said that is all they can do is a food credit and I said no. He then didnt want to hear my side of the story and gave someone else the phone. The other guy he gave the phone to said that they will credit our account. We love this pizza. It's the same price for all the toppings you want. Same for the salads - customize it how you want. The GF crust is a little thick (like most) but has a nice chew and reheats well. Gluten crust is thin and light, but doesn't get soggy. Dairy free cheese is available. The staff always asks if you need a glove change for the GF crust and is accommodating if you ask for one for the dairy free cheese. They have a little selection of cane sugar sweetened sodas as well as house made lemonade and blackberry lemonade. The staff is always friendly and courteous, to the nth degree. Build your own pizza is a great idea. Many such places compromise with less-than-fresh toppings, or per-topping prices. MOD on the other hand has basically unlimited toppings. They are fresh and fancy - including grilled broccoli, grilled asparagus, and roasted tomatoes. Toppings like that are a game-changer for vegetarians. I found all of the food to be really fresh and tasty. Pizzas were cooked really well. There are tons of toppings and drizzles. Service was very friendly and the space is very comfortable. We love MOD Pizza and are glad to have it close by for a relatively quick and healthy pie. I especially love that you can put whatever you want on a pizza or in a salad for one low price. It's a good value, so five stars for value and quality. However, our last several visits, and particularly one on a Sunday evening, left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I get it--on the weekends, people want to eat out. We all have the same idea. But to have to wait for nearly 20 minutes on a Sunday evening before 6 p.m. just to get to the front of the line of a place that is supposed to cater to the new idea of fast food is a bit much. It was extra-insulting to see phone and internet orders made in front of us while we waited. And I get that, too--who wants to wait in line, you say? Maybe we should have ordered ahead, too, but then we'd be making it even worse for those people who are physically waiting in a very slow-moving line. Nobody in that line looked happy. I think Mod needs to take better stock of its high and low periods of activity and make sure to have an appropriate number of staff on hand to handle the busy times. I'd never heard of this place but they got me hooked when we got a coupon in the mail for a free pizza. It's similar to Your Pie (which don't get me wrong, I also love) and other build your own pizza places, but I feel like there's more options here, plus it's conveniently on my way home from work. It's near the Sprouts, right next to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They have 3 sizes and the prices are super reasonable, with the largest pizza costing around $11. If you wanted to, you could get a baby pizza for less than $5. I get the 11-inch option because the smallest size would just be too heavily laden and break with all the toppings I get. There are so many topping options and you can get as few or as many as you want since there is just one price based on the size of the pizza you are getting. One thing that sets this place apart-- BALSAMIC GLAZE DRIZZLE. Get it on your pizza and thank me later. Also the staff seems fun and like they actually get along and like working there, which just makes for a better atmosphere. I came after work once near their closing time and right after I ordered to-go, a huge birthday party of like 20+ people came in. MOD Pizza does exactly what it is supposed to do. Fast, better than average, cheap pizza. Don't think you will go there and have some authentic Italian pizza. What it is though is fast, made to order pizza with a plethora of fresh options. Simple menu small, mod, large pizza. They have an assortment of preselected combinations that are quite good. You are also able to make your own pizza. All the ingredients you want for the price of the specific size pizza you choose. If you are watching your carbs they also have salads sized and priced accordingly. Again, you can choose all the ingredients you like. They also have an assortment of drizzles you can top your pizza with. They also have beers on tap. Cool place. I'd go again for a quick bite. Only issue I had was with the girl making my pizza. She wouldn't listen to what I was asking her to put and went off on her own. This lead to a lot of additional toppings but the pizza was still decent. I ordered online from my office to pick up on my way home. It was late and I was tired. Online message stated not ready for 21 minutes so I took my time and it was actually only warm by the time I picked it up. The pizza is like a flatbread and you can choose one of their designs or create your own like I did. I enjoyed my choice and think it was a good value for the price. I also created my own salad which stayed fresh till the next day as I ended up eating the whole pizza. I didn't pay much attention to the interior as i was taking mine to go. There did seem to be some confusion on getting my order together and I was almost out the door before I realized I didn't have my salad. Then the dressing was missing. Small strip mall and only a few parking spaces. When I first drove by there were no empty spots so I was driving to the next parking lot when I saw someone leaving. The girl serving me seemed a little flippant on her Customer service and even made a negative comment on my way out the door not thinking I would hear her. All of the above means I'm not in a hurry to go back soon. Good concept but appears they've got some work to do on the presentation. read more

They opened today! And their pizza is fire! Been to one in California before and decided to grab lunch. Better than blaze and Maddios. Tons of options, Very generous with the toppings, friendly, and quick. Ordered two gluten free build your own and they slathered on fresh awesome toppings. They also have broccoli which no one else has. Their spicy chicken sausage is delicious. Pizzas were ready in 6 minutes and added some topping sauce (sri-RANCHa is great.) One of them lost a little cheese when moving from the oven which didn't bother us at all and they offered to remake it. Friendly fun happy staff. It was the first day so the manager was a little intense talking to some of his team on break, but in sure he is setting a tone of efficiency which I value a ton. Pizzas were perfect. Friendly employees who deserve a raise and good pizza. BUT I'd give zero stars bc this location is very poorly managed - extremely slow due to high volume of online orders so my pizza took 40 mins to make despite there being a short line. I waited in line for a very long time while an angry customer rudely screamed at a teen employee. But there were NO managers present tonight, so the issue escalated while the young workers all reacted professionally and with grace. The workers were doing their best, but with only 1 oven, management needs to figure out how to run your ordering systems to provide quality food efficiently. Decrease online orders so that you don't create irate customers who put your young workers at risk of harassment. Just glad it didn't get physical. Traffic nightmare, parking scant. The staff is overwhelmed by rude people who talk on their cellphones while going through the order line. These customers are on that ******* cellphone &/or smoking outside too. The food is good but the atmosphere is slightly better than WalMart on check day.
