walked in and the place was EMPTY, so i thought "well that's not a good sign" but maybe it was just a slow time. the lady who helped us was clearly not happy to be there & made things awkward. weird atmosphere too. the trash area was disgusting. won't be returning here again. the attitude when we arrived just set the tone for me. pizza was ok, there are so many better places. read more

This place doesn't care about its customers. We came in at 7:30, they sold me a salad and had no forks. And, were not going next door to Albertsons to get more! Please don't sell customers salads when you have no forks. Bad management and thank you Chipotle (next door) for stocking forks. read more

I've been a fan of MOD Pizza since they opened in Seacliff Village. Fresh delicious ingredients piled as high as you like with fast service and really nice staff. Tonight it was busy, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. What I didn't expect was for my pizza to be given to someone else (and frankly I can't imagine who else would want to eat the pizzas that I create!). As it would happen I was starving tonight. My son was almost finished with his pizza and when I went up to check on mine they were very apologetic and honest explaining that my pizza had been given to someone else. They immediately gave me a certificate for a free pizza for the next time I came in and offered to make me another pizza. They not only made me another pizza, they gave us complementary strips and two mini pizzas. They couldn't have been nicer and kept coming over to be sure we had everything we needed. Amanda, in particular, was fantastic. Are you listening MOD Pizza?? She is a gem and you should be happy to have such a customer service oriented employee. Thank you Amanda!! read more

All you need to do is fill your pizza full of toppings and don't pay any more than the next person with no toppings on there pizza. You can walk down the pizza line and fill your pizza as much as it can fit with tons of toppings ranging from special sauces to special pizza crusts. MOD was started in 2008 by Scott and Ally Svenson who had a dream of fast pizza at your order. They set out on the mission for the pizza dream and opened their first restaurant in Downtown Seattle. Now with 215 restaurants across United states and United Kingdom. Scott and Allys dream became a reality. Now we have a local location at Huntington Beach. The Main item at MOD Pizza is the MOD ($8.47 11 inch) It comes with anything you can put on it. They also have a Gluten free option which tastes fabulous. They feature there Mini MOD ($5.47 6 inch) pizzas which are small or if you are super hungry you can order a MEGA MOD ($11.47 double 11 inch crust). You can also order a Salad, Pizza Salad or Shake ($3.77). Or you can just order a normal fountain drink for ($1.97) or special drink ($2.77). The Atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing with kind people. You always see someone you know in the restaurant including neighbors and school friends. One complaint is that the employees never have hair nets or anything to keep the hair out of your pizza from there facial hair or hair on their head. Other than that I recommend the restaurant. I would give the restaurant a 5/5 for its food and friendly atmosphere including the employees. I would suggest you to at least to go try it and see what you think. read more

My wife and I encountered Mod Pizza first in Seattle a month ago... couldn't wait till they expanded to Socal. the we find them just a short drive from our home.. love the build your own for one price Fresh ingredients, great attitude with the staff etc etc etc... GREAT PLACE... well, today we called in an order, I went to pick it up, and ran home only to discover that they made both our pizzas the same, though the papers showed they were to be different... Went back... not only did they gush with apologies, they told me to keep the wrong pizza, and began making the wrong one correctly... the manager... a young kid compared to the 64 yr old guy I am, gave me a coupon for a free pizza on our next visit, AND when my name was called to pick up the pizza freshly made, they included an order of garlic bread.... SERVICE, desire to please, great fresh ingredients, make your own, attitude of employees... support this place... they are doing something right. read more

Had to try the new place in town. But was disappointed. There was a long, slow line with lots of chaos. And way too noisy! Finally got our pizzas after about 25 minutes and both were barely warm. Took most of it home to microwave. Will say it was tasty and the price was right. read more

Great if you order in-store, if you order ahead of time on line, another story. Our experience has been 4 for 4 that they get it wrong. Way wrong! It's weird. That of course delays things, and by the time they fix it, the hot pizza that they did manage to get right is cold! Also, even in store, there is nothing "super fast" about this place so why that's one of their claims I have no idea. And while I'm complaining, the outside seating area is always a complete mess--no one seems to have been hired to handle this important task. Maybe take the guy who handles the on-line orders and move him to table clean up? Just a suggestion. read more

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!! - Check your order before you leave. Twice burned!! Last week, we ordered 2 pizzas online only to get home and learn that they put Artichokes instead of Grilled Chicken!! Had to go back and have them re-do the order! Got to eat our pizzas after two trips and 2 hours after I ordered it online. I'm one to give a place a 2nd Chance, so today, we ordered 4 pizzas online at 12:10pm for a 12:45pm pickup. Arrived at 1:00pm and the pizzas were not done. No big deal to be late, but when we got the pizzas they had screwed up 2 of the 4 pizzas!!. The two they didn't screw up were just plain Cheese!! So after having them make new pizzas, I left at 1:45pm, an hour after Mod Pizza's pickup time, with 2 cold pizzas and 2 re-made pizzas to go home to a Cranky Wife and Kids who had been waiting for their food!!
