I came here for breakfast a couple of weeks ago and had the amazing Three Amigo burrito. It had the perfect combination of meats, rice, refried beans, eggs, and potatoes. I got there at a good time, since most people were probably at work until lunchtime. The salsas are tasty and there are so many other menu items to choose from. I must try other items, but I could probably keep ordering the three amigos burrito for the next few trips. The portions are enormous as well. read more

Burrito Brothers exceeded my expectations. They have the food set out assembly-line style so that even if you select from one of their menu items, you can still customize it to your liking. I ordered the Surf My Turf Burrito at the larger size, and it came packed so full that it was busting out! This particular burrito comes with carne asada, shrimp, Spanish rice, black beans, cheese, guacamole, salsa verde, house sauce and lettuce. I asked to have my burrito grilled which they did, but I wish it ended up a bit crisper and help up in burrito form better. Otherwise, the flavors were absolutely there and I was a happy customer. My aunt ordered the bean and cheese burrito and I've never seen so much cheese. They added 3 layers of cheese and every layer could have been considered a reasonable amount in its own right! They're generous with the salsas but chips cost $3. I wish they were complimentary if you dine in. The extensive menu features all of your Mexican favorites, as well as burgers, hot dogs and even a chicken caesar wrap. I'll definitely be back. read more

The first I got the breakfast burrito here I didn't know I could add all the toppings cuz I ordered over the phone so I was kinda disappointed in my burrito and I got a big brother size and it was puny. Second time was better cus we ordered here. Bottom line is: If you never ate here, don't order over the phone for the first time LOL. Anyway, I really like the theme of the store and the names of the menu items are really creative. The burritos come out super fast too! Another hidden gem that looked too good not to try. With my Mexican food addiction getting the best of me, I walked in greeted by their lovely staff. I had no idea what to order but was drawn in by their all day breakfast! I ordered their Tres Amigos Breakfast Burrito and they made everything to order! After ordering, they'll make your food and you'll get to add pico, onions, cilantro, cheese, and guacamole (for extra $). The pico de gallo was so fresh and flavorful. Paired with the burrito, I also asked for their spicy red salsa and WHOA. Perfect mix of spice and flavor. I will be coming back ASAP! read more

.... just passing by and noticed this new place in a very familiar mini mall (where Hot off the Grill & Albertson's is @ Bolsa Chica & Heil), so after quickly Yelping, I decided to stop in on my way back to work... It used to be a Mediterranean and prior to that a Hawaiian (that shared with the Shave Ice place next door) VERY CLEAN and new. Cute interior, nice, friendly staff. FRESH ingredients, reasonable prices! This breakfast burrito was $14 and I had them cut and wrap in half. I chose bacon for the protein, but they had MANY choices.... You pretty much make your own, cuz after the basics, they ask you what you'd like.... The scrambled egg looked like about 3-4 eggs and it was nice and fluffy!! read more

Just opened! Very friendly staff here and they explained how everything works. You order and pay, then you watch them make your burrito and you give them details of exactly what you want. My husband got the Green Chili Burrito (no sour cream). He said it was the best burrito that he'd had in a long time. Green chili wasn't too spicy, very flavorful. My Surf My Turf Burrito was absolutely delicious and huge! It weighed close to 2 pounds. There was I think a garlic sauce added that I'm going to request off next time. They have a points system you can sign up for to get rewards. The best part about this place is its literally across the street from our house, so I'm very excited about this new addition to the neighborhood! read more

Picked up some breakfast burritos for the crew at work and they were a big hit!! The service was super friendly and quick. The burrito was hefty - crispy bacon, delicious chorizo, crunchy potato's. Salsa it came with was flavorful but mild. The spot is clean and bright. It was early, I think I was the first customer of the day, but it looks like a nice joint. We'll be back! I absolutely LOVE Mexican food! I grew up in a mainly Hispanic area, so it's always been my comfort food of choice. Mild or bland, pass. I need flavor and lots of it! This place definitely hits the mark for flavor and consistency for a fair price. The Surf and Turf Burrito is amazing, paired with some elote and a Coca Cola! Food was excellent. Al pastor mi amor burrito was delicious. Would go lighter on the house sauce next time. My son did the Saltado style burrito and loved/inhaled it. We live close to this restaurant and we were excited to try it. So, a few weeks ago my wife and I each ordered the carne asada burrito to go. The flavors were good but the carne asada meat was chewy. There are so many options in the area to have a decent carne asada burrito so we vowed to never order the same thing again. Since the flavors were good I decided to go back with a different order. I had the carnitas burrito on my second visit. Again, the flavors were good but this time the burrito was a greasy mess. It was difficult to eat without grease all over my face and hands. That isn't always a bad thing if ordered correctly. Although I won't have the carnitas burrrito again due to the grease, I will have it in something that would absorb the grease better. Anyway, I went back for a third time and ordered the shredded beef burrito. When I got home it was carne asada....ugh! I decided I would dig in and hopefully it's better than before. Well, it was even worse this time. This time, not only was the meat chewy and inedible imo, but it wasn't hot or warm enough to melt the cheese. So, I had grains of cold cheese throughout the food (as you can see from the pictures). I only got through about half and threw the rest in the trash. My kids love their bean and cheese burritos so we will probably be back. I will continue to seek something I like from the vast menu options and I'm sure something will be good. Update: my stomach is having bad cramps and diarrhea a little over an hour after eating. My son had the chicken burrito bowl and he just threw up. Relatively new restaurant that just opened up as they still had their grand opening balloon arch up. When first coming in to order, the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations for us and were very friendly/welcoming. We ordered and paid after we got our food, though the food preparation was mildly confusing. As we sat down after ordering, we were called back up to add additional toppings into our burrito (like chipotle style) with options of cilantro, onions, lettuce, sauces, etc. I was pretty confused since I just wanted a simple bacon breakfast burrito, but i guess this is where i made the mistake because after not adding anything extra, my burrito was half plain tortilla, barely filled at all. I ate that thing in 8 bites. Their grated cheese also has that powdery cheese taste that almost overpowered everything else. As for the country fried chicken burrito, it was tasty but very hard to eat as I could barely cut the tortilla with my plastic knife and fork as the metal tray slipped around my table. It was also too wet with the cheese/gravy to burrito ratio. I think this burrito would benefit a lot more if it was built like a standard burrito with the gravy and cheese inside. Otherwise, the fried chicken was flavorful, crunchy, and cut in perfect sized pieces. Side note: There was a one stall public restroom for customers but was dirty with splatters on the wall, 1 remaining toilet seat cover, and 1 toilet paper roll sitting on the side with about 10 squares left.... good thing I only went in to wash my hands. read more

When I first saw that this restaurant opened, I didn't give it very much thought because generally speaking there's a lot of competition when it comes to Mexican food and I already have a place that I tend to go to for tacos but one day my son wanted to eat there and as soon as I walked inside and looked at the menu I was excited. It's very comprehensive and creative and I got the Shredded Beef Enchilada Plate and my son got a burrito, but I can't remember which one. I hadn't been eating animal products long and prior to that I had abstained for many years so I was definitely nervous about eating so much meat, but my food was delicious and very comforting and I haven't tried anything else yet because I like that particular dish a lot. The restaurant is in a very unassuming shopping center, but definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. And in the summertime you can get Shave ice next door after for dessert. read more

You are going to get the same burritos and tacos here as other so called ghetto Mexican restaurants or legit Mexican burritos. But you'll be charged premium pricing. Ordered a breakfast burrito, build it your way, I thought it comes with all those proteins listed in the menu but I had to choose one. So I went for Machaca. Guess what? It came with exactly the same as I get from Albertos. Their table was very sticky i had to wipe it down twice. Helpers just save your money and go to other mexican fast food joints. They serve them all day and have a very creative menu even if it's counter service. They have several protein options and a very nice selection of what you want in your food. The waitstaff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Their indoor seating is very clean and warm along with abundant seating outside.
