Add garlic to the normal marinara base for an awesome flavor bomb! Love building my own pie and they don't skimp on ingredients. Service is friendly and pizzas cook quick for a fast to go option. My husband loves the cakes and enjoy mixing the regular and covered lemonades! Parking can be tricky and staff doesn't keep up on cleaning tables, but definitely a favorite spot!

ALWAYS fresh & delicious plus great prices equals return trips here! Very good service & calm, yet fun atmosphere makes for a fantastic dining experience.

What I love about MOD pizza is you can load up your pizza with all the toppings your heart desires! Their pizzas are great whether you eat in their location or order through Ubereats - lots of pandemic pizzas have been enjoyed! Great price to snag a pizza for under $15 for a quick lunch or dinner.

    Yet more mess

First off, the girl making our pizzas was very sloppy, just throwing the toppings on the pizzas; in the photo, you can see there were only artichokes less than half of the pizza. The trash can was overflowing and there was trash all over the floor. I didn't see anyone cleaning their hands, and they were touching everything with the same gloves on. The kicker is when I saw the young woman grab the trash can with her hand and push trash into it with the other. Then, wearing the same gloves, she starts boxing pizzas. When I said something to her, she denied it and didn't apologize. She disappeared into the back and came out 5 minutes later while donning new gloves. Gross.

Absolutely love mod pizza, the fact that you have the options to create Whatever you would like is always fun. I always get the double dough, pizza and every time I'm very happy with the way it turns out. The service is excellent and I enjoy this place tremendously.

Uncooked ingredients with lots of cold spots.

I used to love this place. It was my favorite build your own quick pizza. The quality of the ingredients has gone down. Their mozzarella is not good, which stinks since it is a main ingredient. The pizzas aren't made the way they used to be. Employees don't seem to be trained the same or held to the standard they once were. There were cold spots on the pizza, mushrooms and several other ingredients not cooked, yet the crust was burnt. Every bite was different as there would be globs of uncooked cheese and then more than 2 inches of crust, or bites of all onion. I love their caramelized pear tea, just a bummer their pizza has slowly been going down in quality every time I come.

"Dominic" loaded with extra salami, mozzarella, corn, peppers, olives...lost track it was great : )

I've been to several MOD pizza places in LA and Metro Phoenix. This one is in Southeast mesa near Apache Junction in a large, newer shopping center anchored by Walmart. Staff was very busy working hard(shout out to Austin & Brandon)but took my order and had pizza ready in under 15 minutes. I had the white sauce with Asiago "Dominic". I added salami, mozzarella, garlic, jalapenos, peppers and it comes with sausage. It was MOUTHWATERING delicious. The combined flavor profile was a winner. My taste buddies told me. It was a lot of pizza for less than $12. I rank this MOD best tasting pizza and pizza value I've had so far this year. Congrats Team MOD Mesa.

Disgustingly grease saturated bullshit pizza I was served today.

Look at this disgusting ass pizza they tried to feed me!!! The girls were super rude when I asked them to remake it. Like WHO would eat this!?!? It's more grease than pizza!!

I have been here several times in the past and have NEVER had an issue. But the last 3 times I have came the service and the food had been nothing but disappointing. The last time I ordered through the app and ordered EXTRA dairy free cheese as you can see in my photo below, there was nothing but a sprinkle of cheese on this pizza, all they could do was refund my money - so I ended up having to wait 7 business days for that and had to get something else to eat. Today I called TWENTY min ahead and placed an order to make sure my order wasn't messed up.. because I was on the way somewhere. I went to pick it up and they hadn't even started making it, even thought I had been almost 10 min late picking it up, and they had already started making it wrong.. AGAIN. I don't know what the disconnect is, but I don't think I'll be back to this location. Very upsetting to say the least.

Thé ride kid making our pizzas. If u see home run like the wind

And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two,…read moreyou should consider swinging by Goat and Ram This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor. Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

Our server was friendly, though hesitant to make any recommendations or share any opinions about the food, other than her love of the limoncello cake because 'it is light.' We tried the eggplant and chicken Parmesan because it sounded interesting and unlike offerings at other Italian restaurants. It was unique and fun to try, but I don't think I would get it again. It was quite heavy on the breading and there was a generous portion of cheese and sauce. We asked if we could substitute a salad in place of the spaghetti that it came with and our server did indicate they offer garlic sautéed spinach or broccoli so we selected the broccoli. She did not inform us that it came at an extra charge, though we would have still been happy to pay it, it's just nice to be informed ahead of time of any additional cost. I definitely recommend the cannolis as the filling was thick and creamy and not overly sweet and the entire shell was dipped in chocolate!
