Everyone who came with me said the food was amazing. I'm giving it 3 stares because we specifically came to here because it showed up in a search as being allergy friendly. However, there were individual serving spoons for the ingredients. The pizzas were made with gloves by the employees, but all of the food was cross contaminated because of this process. It's also cooked in a brick oven without pans, and the employees weren't willing to cook mine on tin foil....so it would have been contaminated with allergens there as well. They should NOT advertise as allergy friendly. I had to sit and watch everyone else eat because nothing was made separately. read more

I placed an online order for two pizzas at 5:25pm on a Friday evening. The app said my order would be ready at 5:41pm. I arrived at 5:40. At 5:55, after 15 minutes of waiting, I noticed many people in the long "walk-in" line had ordered and already received their pizzas. I asked about the status of my order and the young lady behind the counter told me one of my pizzas was already done and in the box but that it would be a few minutes before the other was ready. I simply inquired in a calm, quiet voice as to how it was possible that ONE pizza in a TWO pizza order could be ready and the other hadn't even been started, but the person I spoke to (a young woman with long braids) seemed to be agitated and in the mood for no one to question their system. I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. I finally asked again after 30 minutes of waiting for my order. By this time, a quick scan of the restaurant showed that most of the customers who had been in-line to order when I arrived had received their orders, eaten and left the restaurant. I asked again about my order. At this time I was given a choice of either receiving a refund or waiting. I told her to throw away the pizza in the box and make me two new pizzas. I walked out of the restaurant with my pizzas one hour after placing my order. Understand, there are times I can tolerate placing an order and it taking an hour for my meal to be prepared, but not when I'm told it will be ready for pickup in 16 minutes and then it takes and hour. That being said, the pizzas were great. I've always enjoyed their food and the Mod experience, but the event and the staff soured me a bit and it will probably be a long time before I return. read more

This is the worst experience we have had at this location, stay away find another location. This was out spot always had great service and pizza made great, not the case today. It's 9pm on a Friday and they are out of everything, tell you what I see is workers ready to go home and it's not even fucking closing time!!!!! Never seen this crew before and I must say terrible, very poor crew and the way the pizza made today won't be coming back here. Staff is friendly but orders are rarely ready on time and often are missing ingredients. Spot check your order before leaving. Staff corrects issues when found but better qualify control should be implemented. I've even had it where I've ordered online, came in at the right time and order wasn't started. There was only 2 customers in store and employees were hanging around talking. As far as food it is not bad pizza. Better than most in area. read more

My wife and I went here to have dinner 11/10/22 at around 5:00. We walked up to the counter and waited approximately 4 to 5 minutes to be helped. There was 2 of the staff standing close talking and one working on dough. During that time no one even acknowledged that we were standing there. I had a bad experience last time I was here, but they emailed me a survey and I expressed my concerns...they offered me a free pizza...I went in to redeem it and everything I had complained about had been addressed. The Midlothian MOD Pizza is by far my FAVORITE build your own pizza place in North Texas. We have tried multiple MOD Pizza and Blaze Pizza locations, but we will come back to this one. The staff have been amazing since opening day, and have always made us feel welcome. I highly recomend the white sauce, roasted corn, and the NO NAME CAKES!!!! They are to die for 10/10 want at my future wedding. Something we noted tonight is how much cleaner and more organized this store is than others. They always take their time, clean up after themselves, prevent cross contamination, and still get us out quick. On top of that, our food is ALWAYS perfect and delicious. Evan in specific is always so upbeat and he and the staff always create a homely environment. Thank goodness for this store opening!! read more

I generally find in life that you get what you give. First time visit to location in Midlothian. Customer service was on point! Open for only a year. My boo and I ordered pizzas...the Dominic and the Jasper along with a Ceasar Salad to share. Need an extra employee - three during lunch rush not enough. From front of line to cash register was 30 minutes in line of 15 people. Food another 10. Can be tough when people having to pick while standing but main issue was not having a person at each station to keep things moving. As staffed, not viable location for lunch in a one hour window. Food is good, ingredients always high quality. Inconsistent amount of toppings between pizzas but not enormous problem. Need to fix before reputation gets spoiled since Mod is relatively new to DFW. 3* on yelp not going to draw customers. read more

The pizza was good but the crust was a little burnt and the restaurant was extremely dirty. There were food splatters all over the garage cans, tables were not clean, the beverage area was messy and gross and the bathroom soap dispenser was broken off the wall. It also took them a long time to come to the register. It was very busy but it seemed chaotic and not streamlined like other Mod's. All things that can and should be fixed, otherwise it was delicious pizza. read more

Great place for pizza especially for those that have dietary issues. My son is allergic to dairy as well as 20 other ingredients that I don't feel like typing. We informed the staff when we arrived of such issues and they were very mindful when it came to preparing his meal. They had non-diary cheese and switched out gloves/work areas to make sure to not cross contaminate. Very impressed and staff was very courteous to our needs. I give this review one star because the order was wrong not because the pizza was bad. We ordered pizzas and one of the was suppose to have the dairy free cheese. This is a problem since my son has a dairy allergy. He's had the dairy free pizza from here before but it was a dine in and this was a carry out. Please be careful with special orders!! This is by far the best pizza in Midlo. Their staff is still adjusting so it's hit or miss with wait times. They are still figuring out kinks with dinning room clean up due to staff being all hands on when line is out the door - which is always! The pizza is so good and the salads are even better. The secret cake dessert is worth the extra spend. It's more than a ding dong. I came across this brand while in Portland, I'm still amazed that Midlo got a franchise. We don't have many good places to eat in Midlo, however, this one is by far the best. You need to bring the fam. When you have fam visiting Midlo this should be your go to. :) read more

We love love love their pizza and super friendly staff. The ingredients are fresh, and you get unlimited toppings for one price. The crusts are also excellent. The reason I put 4 stars is because the line moves SO SLOWLY. You cannot go if you are in a hurry. Update from my 11 year old son: The staff is super social so make sure you can hear them. read more

Everyone passes through the line to order pizza or salad (and they have gluten-free crust upon request), picking exactly what toppings are desired. My family LOVES Mod! Never had bad food or service at this place! All of my topping have always been very fresh. Love the patio seating when the weather is nice. The employees are always very sweet and patient with my children picking their toppings. This location can get very busy especially lunch times on Sunday's but usually goes fairly fast. read more
