Always had a pleasurable experience here at this location up until tonight to say the very least. I usually order my pizza with the whole kitchen sink but they forgot to add a topping which I loved. No big deal because it could just be an honest mistake. What irked me and taken aback was when I asked to have it add on and the rude pizza baker told me I have to "Go back in line and re-order because I have a lot of pizzas to bake"! He initially tried to add the topping without having it cooked into the pizza in which I have asked. Unacceptable! First of all, I'm not going back in line to re-order for an honest mistake and second I don't take the rudeness lightly at all. I told him I'm not going back in line because a mistake was done on my pizza I rather wait right here to have it made correctly. Instead of baking me a new one and apologizing they rebaked my pizza with the added topping and now my crust is burnt. What is wrong here guys???? Mod is a place where you make your own pizza and oven baked. My grandkids loves this place and making their own pizza. They love putting their own stuff on top of the pizza. But pizza is not what they only serve, they also serve beer, salad, and shakes. Nice environment semi clean when they are busy but when they are not busy the place is clean even the tables. The quality of the ingredients are low, and the pizza is bad. It's great that you can build your own pizza - but you can do that at: ALMOST ANY PIZZA PLACE THAT EXISTS! You just pick the toppings you want, and have them put that on your pizza. It's called 'ordering', and most places don't feel the need to jam it in your face that you ultimately get to decide what you order. It's assumed - unspoken, yet somehow magically understood. Some-strange-how, this place has managed to build their entire business around taking this unspoken understanding, and pointing it out incessantly, and it turns out the latest generation of young people seem to really need and enjoy this. 'You're (or *your* for the iphone generation) special', and here's the crappy pizza you 'built' from your beautiful and creative mind! The website has quotes like, "...I call it a Mississippi Mad Dog." That's great and all, but everyone else calls it "... a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza.", and you can get a large one right down the street with higher quality ingredients. They might not have as many choices at every pizza place, but I'm pretty sure they have almost all the ones people actually would want, and it doesn't matter how many choices you have if they're all of poor quality. It's simply marketed in such a way that customers are brainwashed into thinking they have all these great choices that they already have at any/every other pizza place. If you don't believe me, get your favorite pizza at MOD, and remember exactly what it is. Then go to any other pizza place and ask for that. Also, the largest size is pretty tiny, and in the end you get a lot less for your money. Again, if you don't believe me, get your favorite pizza at MOD, and weigh it. Then get the same pizza at a different pizza place and also weigh it. Divide the $/unit weight, and compare. In short, MOD is the Apple of pizza - selling you the same stuff that already exists and you could already get, but making you feel creative and unique for buying it from them, while at the same time charging you more money for a product of less quality. read more

I love pizza but not this one! It's like a crunchy 6 inch tortilla-looking thing and costs $5. I think my homemade pizza is way better than this. Oh and the kids can sign a sticker and stick it on the wall which is like legal tagging. They loved that. Lemonade was too sweet but if you water it down a little it's really good. The food is good once you receive it; but, the staff is going to have to work at keeping their food prep area clean. Vegetables often look wilted rather than fresh. Order taker handles food after writing down order without washing hands. Cashier handles food without washing hands after taking money. Staff with exceptionally long beard handles food without wearing a beard net. If you are being grossed out while your food is being prepared in front of you, then you will quickly loose your appetite. The pizza is far from simple, allowing you to add as many toppings as you'd like for the same price (and if you don't like your creation, they will toss it and make you a new one, how wasteful!). Of course, I should have known this would mean poor-quality but I am unfamiliar with the area and needed food; seeing all the positive reviews this place seemed like an easy choice. We had no idea how dreadful it would actually be. Not only did they forget to add the artichoke I had requested, but the spinach was on top of everything (rather than under the cheese as is customary) and so, cooked to a crisp. I understand they were busy, but when the sausage was downright inedible that is no workers' error. The pizza was mostly under-cooked dough as they apparently feel a double crust with sauce between the layers is desirable and "simple?!" This ruins the ratio as well as the texture of the pizza. I come here with my sis and we get one all meat pizza and all veggies on the second one. Reminds me of Pieology but I'm glad MOD opened at a nearby location from where I live. Service most of the time is horrible. They don't spread the materials evenly, so at one side the back of the bread burns and at the other side not cooked well. Today the black lady was rushing me for the next topping and spread the materials uneven (At one side not much and at the other side falling on the counter while joking and talking with coworkers) no body was behind me also no customer ordered anything or came to store at list 5 minutes after me. I don't understand the reason for sloppiness and the rush! You need to compare it to Blaze Pizza, then you would know more things that are wrong with them. I hope a Blaze Pizza would open in this area, so they close their shop (not restaurant) or care about the customers! read more
